ootp 14 question
For the first time, I tried going back in history and playing from the mid 80's forward. When I got to my first amateur draft it seemed like all of the players were fully developed. Is this normal? Is there a setting I can change to make them develop typically? It's Cal Ripken's class if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Well they are often fully developed, but it does vary, I've seen some guys start at basically prospect level but most start at pretty much fully developed, or close to. I think it's because the database the game uses isn't really taking into account the minors. I'd check on the OOTP forums, may be some way around it, maybe with a different database.

Doesn't the database only debut players when they debuted in the majors? That would pretty much rule out the time in the minors for most.
