I hate Sunday night tv. Not because it sucks, but because they put too many good shows on.

Well, they haven't been in the first two episodes at all. They were in just about every episode of the first two seasons. It is a little odd that they haven't been in either of the first two episodes of this season, which is why I think some people are a little concerned.

Not just Quag, but all the gang. Maybe FG is just working the family up first, then bringing every else in. I though the story line was alittle wacky, even for FG, but the jokes and humor was funny. I love the opening. |

I thought Family Guy was pretty funny, the beginning was great. Although I'm getting a little worried about the absence of all of Peter's friends.

Damn! I didn't even think of this show and missed it. I've gotten so used to not watching network TV, I automatically assume there's nothing on I want to watch.

I thought it was much better than last week's.
While I'd rate last week's episode as well into the bottom half of all episodes, this one was either at the halfway line or only slightly below it. ~rpi-fan

Great episode. Even American Dad is decent this week.
Oh, and the Zellweger fan bit killed me.

I thought FG was pretty funny this weak, There were a few times when the writers over did it. Stewie with the plane experiment.

I watched the Eyewitness Protection Program episode on Cartoon Network last night, and there was one of those commercial things they do that said new episodes of FG start on Cartoon Network June 9.
I think that episode is probably my favorite FG of all-time. Between the hick humor, Stewie's banjo playing, and the Dukes of Hazzard references, I still laugh my ass off even after seeing it 100 times or so. "I've got blisters on me fingers!"

That scene made me do a spit take, literaly. I thought the rest of it was pretty good, Cosby was gold, and you shirt gag was pretty damn funny as well. And anytime the 4 of them sing Journey, well that just cant be beaten with a stick.

Dude, just watched the episode. It was hilarious. Faking being a doctor, "Just kidding, she's dead," that was brilliant.

Was anyone else disappointed that they lead with a warning about animated nudity and it turned out to be Stewie?

Quagmire's karaoke - "..it goes on and on and on and on and giggidygiggidygiggidy...!" - had me practically in tears.
That show got a big thumbs up from my wife for breaking out Journey. In fact, I had to turn it up because she was singing along to it...

New family guys will be shown on CN starting next Sunday night. Not sure if they are just going to go in order or what.

After a handful of the new FG eposides, what does everyone think?
I think they belted out some excellent ones, such as Quag shaggin with Clevelands wife and "THe Bachlorette", yet produce some of the worst ones I've seen with Peter finding out he's Mentally challenged and the first new one (Mel Gibson). It seems like they are getting stronger. |

I thought tonights was excessively boring, was this one new? I think there have been many funny set pieces (Rock Lobster and You've got aids were classic), but its pretty much really hit or really miss, as always.

I am a huge Family Guy fan, and I thought tonights episode wasn't that funny. Last weeks was great, but every show has its ups and downs.

I agree with all of this. Last week was great, this week was weak. Overall, it's good and I continue to watch every week. Hopefully, ratings will stay high enough to ensure at least a few more seasons. |

I dunno - I liked it. It wasn't brilliant like the Mel Gibson "Passion" one or the one's where they go down to the South, but it was pretty good.
