I Am So Pissed

What a sad state of affairs the internet has become, where people thake others work, and pass it off as there own. My finacee has written some poems. Some of them were published on Poetry.Com Now she looks around the internet, and it seems that at least 10-15 people have added this poem to their website and passed this poem off as there own. What a bunch of losers!

Um isn't this the EXACT same thing posted in a thread by Airhog?

I'm confused.
Though it does suck royally.

You know, as soon as I posted that Airhog had the exact same thread, I realized why.

I really hate the spoof/parody threads.

REALLY hate them.

Sue them! They have violated her copyright. Sorry, I know it's not realistic. However, you could email/contact them that they have stolen it and you will sue them if they don't take it down, or attribute her name to it. If you claim you are doing it on behalf of Poetry.com, it just might work, especially if you tell them you will report them to their IP and will have them shut down. You could start your own website where you call them out as thieves, or leave similar messages on their message boards, etc. Have some fun with it.

No, I orginally posted the thread about this. But when I saw that there probably wouldnt be any sort of serious discussion about this I deleted the thread I wrote about it.

this was a nice parody, but I feel badly that it meant that yours dropped out of sight.

Most parody threads and all plaguaristic web dwellers suck.

There. I addressed both in one post.

You spelled plagarism wrong, so I didn't feel too bad for you. See Suicane, he didn't even attempt to spell the word because he knows he can't.

Plagiarism you mean? Unless this joke is so inside there's no hope for some of us...

Man, I ruined that word. I didn't even attempt to spell check. You know, with work and all.
