Cherry vs Free - wow...no idea how this will play out. Cherry with the only round 1 shutout, Free with a good win over a tough opponent in the first match up...

DB Something vs Mountain - Breakfast got much mor support than I expected in round 1 against a good opponent...whereas Queen won over a marginal disco hit without the support Breakfast received...could be interesting.

Contours vs Lowe - oldies are hard to project...and Lowe going against a rap song in round 1 makes projection against a total different genre this time around tougher...

Imbruglia vs Lawrence - I think I have a handle on this one...

Wild Cherry vs Free - I absolutely didn't expect this...I thought Alright Now had a shot to go REALLY deep in this tournament. I defiantly didn't expect a blow out loss...I obviously under-estimated the popularity/identification of Play that Funky Music as a great OHW.

Mountain vs Something - another I didn't expect to be a blow out...After round 1 I expected Tiffany's to win, but not by that spread...

The Contours vs Lowe - I love that Nick Lowe song...sorry to see it go...but I expected it, and this one played out about how I envisioned.

Imbruglia vs Lawrence - this one was pretty easy, if I'm surprised about anything, it would be that Lawrence got more votes than Free did....
