PASSION PARTY!!!! (I am getting some funny texts...)
A bunch of the neighborhood girls have a once-a-month Friday night gathering to play Bunco, LCR, or whatever. Oftentimes afterward there's some sort of "sale." Cover girl, tupperware, jewelry, you name it. The girl hosting invites someone she knows to sell her wares, and the hostess gets a little kickback.
SWMBO is at one of those tonight. LCR is done, and they're now having a "passion party." Yes, someone is there selling "marital aids." And my wife is wonderfully immature when it comes to stuff like this.  A few of the texts... "Ali looks REALLY interested in a bunch of this stuff. Like they need any help!" (Ali just turned 30, and she and her hubby already have four kids.) "OMG! Cheryl bought a HUGE vibrator and said she's not telling Scott she got it!" "I am SO junior high. I can't help giggling every time they show something new." "Hehehe. They have a spray that they say dries up the wet spot. Yeah, right. Tell me when u want me to stop texting u." "They are talking about the G spot cream. Hee hee." "This is soooo funny. I wish I could secretly video." "Jessica is cracking me up! She is a fount of knowledge. Who knew???" (And yes, of the gals in this bunch, I would agree that she seems the most "spinsterly" of the group, despite having two kids. I'm in a Bible Study with her hubby. Definitely wouldn't have her pictured as the fount of knowledge on marital aids.)

In all seriousness, if they have the heart shaped heating pad tell her to buy it whatever the cost. Thing is amazing.
(It's one of those crystal heating things where you bend it a certain way and the thing heats up throughout.) |
