I have it, and I love it. The Career mode, imho, is GREAT fun. The difficulty ratchets-up a good bit, and the wind is a killer. The graphics are very good on my 2 yr old computer.

Some stuff is borderline. For example, in Links golf, putting was very hard for me. In Tiger, it is easy, more or less. I don't recall EVER having a 3-putt hole. I say go for it.

You start off as an amateur with low skills. You play in mini tourneys and take challenges to make money to raie skills and buy better equipment. When your skills are all (there are 5 skill categories, if I recall) at 25, you play a bigger tourney to advance to next level (if in top 35).
At next level players are bit better, and you play more to raise all skills to 50, play to get to next level, and so on.
You get to Pro and you play or get challenged by real players with better skills to get into Master class.....

Great golf game. Converted me from a Links fanatic.

Just got it and installed it on my PC after playing PS2 version with my son. Looks to be quite fun and a challenge I'm sure since I'm no golfer.
