Well it has become apparent that WVUfan has simply not returned from his hunt...the people are restless. CoffeeWarlord, at the behest and blessing of the people shall storm the office and take control of Glasgow. WVUfan will drop to last in line for a city however he still retains the title of "Governor" thus allowing him to vote, discuss, debate, and participate, eventually to be granted a city. Mrsimperless, your workers are continuing their work on the "gold" mines out east and one has been completed bringing gold, via the River Scot to Edinburgh. They will continue their work on the second mine, hoping to turn our numbers positive. After that they will begin to turn the flood plains of the River Scot to farmland, unless you command otherwise.

The frontpage picture of Glasgow has been updated. CW, you should know that our people have ran across a gang of mean looking barbarians to the NW and while Glasgow sits at a strategic advantage to the south of the River Scot, the people are very nervous. Some of the woman and children are making plans to leave for Edinburgh so I think that this is certainly something you should be concerned about.

Wow, for some reason I was positive we had already researched metal carving. Oh well.

What are the benefits of the great wall vs. the sphinx? And what are your thoughts on our chances of success with each of these projects keeping in mind how long they have been available for us to build and the relative quickness that we can construct them with here in Edinburgh. (Unless of course one of them is a minor wonder)

I stand corrected, we do know how, per se, to make the sharp points we need but unfortunately, as of now, we have no access to copper or iron which is required.

The Great Wall keeps all Barbarian scum from entering our borders on the Continent, while the sphinx is -100% Anarchy length and -50% maintenance. I have no idea what our chances are for completing these although I know that we dont have access to stone which would help immensely. We may have a better shot than if we tried for Roman Roads (which increases gold production and provides roads for all squares up until now, also providing 2 fast-workers) but Im not sure of that either.

To get units we have to lobby the Governors, which youre the governor of Glasgow so that should be easy

Were not in a hurry so check in once a day or so if possible.

Coffee, we DO have 2 warriors / city right now however one from Glasgow is a day's travel towards Edinburgh. Do you want them to return to Glasgow, I will return the warrior to Glasgow. Edinburgh has TWO warriors there, although one is preparing to head out towards the mines to engage the Warrior, leaving one home in Edinburgh.

Sorry for the confusion, I will try to do a better job in the future of clarifying things.

Edinburgh has graduated another Warrior making it's 3rd. One of Edinburgh's warriors, based on CW's direction, took to hiding in the mines just East of Edinburgh. they waited for the Barbarian horde to come through, which they did and our Warrior(s) were able to destroy them protecting the mines suffering about 50% damage, which should heal nicely with the promotion. Now that Edinburgh has completed another Warrior, what Shall Edinburgh work on next?
