Well, assuming it's not spoilers once the game has been put up, I'm going to congratulate John Snow on a hell of an opening game.

That and smack around my guy for all his fouls. Damn.

We got burned as expected, they were way better than us at every position.

Great game by John Snow with 20 points. surprisnily i had the most assistances with 9 (weird for a PF).

Too bad we all had alot of faults, includign our star player and PG Jace Hunter.

Anyway this was just our first game and an expected loss for sure, tomorrow i'll analize the game and will post here next game tactics to discuss. First thing i notice is that i need to lower the playing time for the starters.

A weird note, doing the game minutes math, it seems that our C Shaq Wannabeme played as PG for 12 minutes as the other C played the full game, both PF shared the PF time and the SG had all playing time, so it seems he played PG after one of the two PG's fouled out. This means we need to have a deeper team so expect more FOFcers to be signed up tomorrow.

Day 2 Bet

Portugal Division 6
1.3 Machico Energy (C 17.45) vs 5.1 Vizela Clube (H 23.87)

Looks very safe from what I can tell.

Machico is the underdog in that game, not Clube.

Figured it out from Booky thread. All the good bets were so heavily utilized it switched the odds the opposite way. I'm too late.

Luckily the next team we play isn't NEARLY as good and we actually currently have a higher team rating than them. That team we just played is clearly the cream of the crap in our division.

Heh, that seems to be a trend in this game...or maybe you and I both are point-power forwards. Towards the end of last season, I started to lead my team in assists game in and game out, despite having my "Play Style" set to Normal. Anyways, in last night's game that trend continued...I set a career high with 16 assists ( ) to go along with my ten points and four rebounds in a 131-89 victory.

Hopefully you guys get a win tonight. Best of luck!

That one's no longer available. Best one I saw in the thread that's still around is Hungary Div 4, Budapest Ducks vs Szolnok Powerhouse at 4.9.

Today's game (season 4 day 2):

x1.3 London Fofc Ballers (21.31 average) vs Wakefield Old School (19.05 average) x1.5

Starting lineups for today's game:

London FOFC Ballers:
C Manuel Martin 19.8
PF Ivan Carrillo 21.8
SF John Snow 20.9
SG All Mighty 20.8
PG Jace Hunter 24.2

Wakefield Old School
C Swalus Fr?d?ric 23.6
PF Joseph Firth 23.5
SF A RANDOM PLAYER WILL PLAY
SG A RANDOM PLAYER WILL PLAY
PG Insan SKIP 20.1

Star players per Q that i setup in the team tactics (the star players are ones that will shoot the most but will tire faster)
Q1 PG Jace Hunter 24.2
Q2 SG All Mighty 20.8
Q3 SG Mickheal Jordanov 20.2 (that will start the 3rd Q instead of All Mighty)
Q4 SF John Snow 20.9

This is a winable game. We are worse inside, but way better outside as the dont' have SF and SG, so other of their 17 average players will play there.
This means we need to feed the ball a lot to our small players, PG, SG and SF. We are also goign to try another thing, to set all us to play "hard" that way we should perform better and of course tire faster, that will give play time to the backups. I'm also going to raise the treshold of minimum stamina to stay on the court from default 75% to 80% to give more playing time to the backups as besides at the PG position, there is not a big difference between our starters and backups.

Recommended personal tactics for you to setup for your players:

Starters play intensity: HARD
Backups play intensity: HARD

Shooting Parameters: Each one set the % to his best player abilities but following this more or less:

C and PF: 75 inside, 20 floor, 5 three
SF: 25 inside, 55 floor, 20 three
SG and PG: 10 inside, 60 floor, 30 three

If any of you is really good at three, raise that value.

Play Style: Normal for everybody but the PG.
PG play style: Special team player (to lead on assists)

Play Time: Short for everybody to create more chances and to move the ball fast.

Passing Preferences: Let's feed the small guys:

For the PG's set it to:
C=13%
PF=13%
SF=37%
SG=37%

For the SG's set it to:
C=10%
PF=10%
SF=30%
PG=50%

For the SF's set it to:
C=10%
PF=10%
SG=30%
PG=50%

For the PF's set it to:
C=10%
SF=25%
SG=20%
PG=45%

For the C's set it to:
PF=10%
SF=25%
SG=20%
PG=45%

Please post here if you have changed your tactics acordly.

Tactics changed.

Watch out for the passing percentages. The positions aren't in C-PF-SF-SG-PG or PG-SG-SF-PF-C order, where they remove your position from the list. For me, being a PF, it should be PG-SG-SF-C or C-SF-SG-PG if it was in order. However, it's C-PG-SF-SG...so I'm guessing alphabetical.

Just a heads up if you were expecting them to be in normal basketball order, like I was.

I have sent buying offers to two more FOFcers, sorry about the ones owned by humans, but we will need to wait until your contract is over and you become FAs, it will be midseason.

I have just started to program a tool that will help the team management a lot. It will be an online form for you guys to update after every new training or new equipment purchased. That way we will have a 100% updated database with all our players, skills etc and it will help a lot to setup the tactics.

Just an FYI, if we all play hard, we're going to likely be at a disadvantage for the next game. If we have to play against a team like that first team again where we're clearly the inferior team with no chance to win, in my opinion we should play relaxed for the game so we have more energy for our winnable games. I haven't scouted our next opp, not going to have a lot of time for the next 5 or so days as I'll be on vacation, but will have some internet access and will try to keep up with tactical changes.

Tactical changes made per above post.

I'm signing other fofcers to have more deep plus i have set the rotation to use more the backups so it should compensate the stamina usage playing hard. We will see after this game how much stamina do we use this way. And yes, i agree with you, for secure defeats we will play relaxed and will give more time to backups.

Our gameplan worked as we wanted it, with the small guys having an awesome performance.

I must give my praise to our C Manual Martin that had a great game vs a C better than him. Both PF, me and Sam Joley got handled well by the opposing PF and had crap games.

Lol, you need to adjust to the team first ;P

I'll try to give playing time to everybody in the next game, it worked well this one but it's hard to setup without being able to set the rotation per position instead of for the whole team.

Triple double, whoo! (sorry, first one).

Excellent game plan and John Snow again continues to be a force and a fantastic job on the boards by Martin. We might be a very specialized type team right now, but it's nice to see the team take care of business against a team we should put away.

Something is a bit screwed with playing time and subs, you are the backup PF and as i fouled out after 25 minutes, you should have played the other 23 minutes but the backup Center played as PF for any reason.

Dola, found he problem and reported the bug in their forums (and i was not theonly one).

My PF fouled out in the 3rd Q, the backup came in until the end of the 3rd. Then in the 4rd Q, instead of the backup PF, it was the backup C who played as PF.

The problem is when a new Q starts, the engine checks for the starter and as he can't play after being ejected by faults, it takes a random one instead of the backup at that position.

Without the bug, you would have played some time at C as you should and i had set, but you insist on playing at other positions
