Risky bet of today:

BRAZIL LEAGUE 2

[Cx1.3] Londrina Warriors vs Brazilian Affliction [Hx5.1]

it's a 5.1 one, could mean good money

About today's game, we face a monster team (30.12 average), backups will play most of the game as we have zero chances so plasy as you want but not "HARD" to save energy.

Tried to input my info and got an error...

Error updating player info You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '( +5), Jumping = 26( +6), Confidence = 25( +5), Stamina = 28( +8

What's do I need to do (tried it first with no space in the parentheses and got the same error)?

Don't use the (+5) etc, it's done auto when you select your clothes. Just input your ratings without the clothes effects, then select the clothes from the list and it will add the number into the parenthesis.

Will do.

BTW, I don't have an undercloth piece (whatever it's called as I'm not on the site now) and there is no place in the menu to say "none" that I saw. If not, it will add points that some, myself included, do not actually have for stats from the equipment it puts in by default.

Not sure if/when anybody will do it, but given that you can make custom equipment, might need a way to manually put in the bonuses you're getting from each item.

Oh, and any thoughts on tactics today? I'll be MIA for about an hour before the game (lunch time and it's Superbad day, heh) so don't want to miss out on getting things set for what looks to be a potential upset day

Today we play vs a team better than us, but let's try to do something.

Recommended personal tactics for you to setup for your players:

Starters play intensity: HARD
Backups play intensity: HARD

Shooting Parameters: Each one set the % to his best player abilities but following this more or less:

C and PF: 75 inside, 20 floor, 5 three
SF: 20 inside, 60 floor, 20 three
SG and PG: 5 inside, 60 floor, 35 three

Jordanov, i want you to shoot mroe 3s as you are good at it so:
0 inside, 40 floor, 60 three

If any of you is really good at three, raise that value.

Play Style: Normal for everybody but the PG.
PG play style: Normal to shoot more.

Play Time: Short for everybody to create more chances and to move the ball fast.

Passing Preferences: Our best best scorers (PG, PF, SG) will receive most of the load.

For the PG's set it to:
C=10%
PF=35%
SF=10%
SG=25%

For the SG's set it to:
C=10%
PF=25%
SF=15%
PG=50%

For the SF's set it to:
C=10%
PF=20%
SG=20%
PG=50%

For the PF's set it to:
C=10%
SF=10%
SG=30%
PG=50%

For the C's set it to:
PF=25%
SF=10%
SG=20%
PG=45%

I'm going to swap two players, RJolley as SF as he is good blocking and John Snow will play some time as PF too as he is good shooting inside. Remember it when setting your tactics.

PG passing %'s only add to 80 So, I'm going to guess and set everything up 5%...

I'm going to use RJolley as Starting SF as he is good blocking, he will also play some PF backup time as always.

Tactics updated. Not sure about Snow at PF since my rebounding and strength aren't too hot (and height is a bit small for a PF), but hopefully it'll work out.

We have nothing to lose as anyway they are better than us, so it will be really hard to pull a win unless we can take advantage of any mismatch.

WOOOOTTT hupe upset!
Jordanov had an awesome offensive game, Hunter (with 12 assists) and Carrillo helped too. Sorry about the low play time for the backups, but we needed our best players to pull this win.

Icy for coach of the year!

Not only did we win, but we do it convincingly - by 31 points.

You're really doing a solid job of finding the favorable matchups and exploiting them, bravo!

I will point out though (not to take credit away from Icy) that they are for some unexplainable reason 2-9.

Just a quick glance, but looks like they lose if their opponent has multiple starters at 25+ and win the games against teams weaker than that, so I'd definitely chalk this one up as a coin toss that we won due to superior coaching. Nice to take those down considering there are some teams we just can't take a run at.

Yet.

It's all good, and it turned out decent in the end, no boards but 9 points, 2 assists, and a steal is respectable for 12 mins.

I guess no teamwork between them, if all them play as ball hogs, pass to the wrong guys etc, teams can easily exploit them.

Today we play vs a team we can win, their mani player is the SG. The C is a monster defensively too.

Recommended personal tactics for you to setup for your players:

Starters play intensity: HARD
Backups play intensity: HARD

Shooting Parameters: Each one set the % to his best player abilities but following this more or less:

SG and PG: 5 inside, 60 floor, 35 three

jordanov, i want you to shoot more 3s as you are good at it so set it to:
0 inside, 40 floor, 60 three

Positional changes:
Jolley is going to play starting SF in the 1st Q
Snow is going to play backup PF in the 1st Q
Both will move back to their natural positions later in the game

Play Style: Normal for everybody

Play Time: Short for everybody to create more chances and to move the ball fast.

Passing Preferences: Our PG and PF will receive most of the load.

For the PG's set it to:
C=15%
PF=40%
SF=30%
SG=15%

For the SG's set it to:

Sorry gents, horrible end to the 4th quarter and OT for Jace wastes a great team effort. Icy, I think keeping him on special teams going forward might be for the best, seems like he has a much higher shooting percentage and a lot less turnovers going that route. I'll start working on dribbling to try and stem this from happening in the future.

Ok, it hurted and we are out of the international tourney, so let's go back to the league. today we face a hard team, and our starters are so tired, so we can only pray.

Today tactics:

Starters play intensity: HARD
Backups play intensity: HARD

Shooting Parameters: Each one set the % to his best player abilities but following this more or less:

C and PF: 75 inside, 20 floor, 5 three
SF: 20 inside, 60 floor, 20 three
SG and PG: 5 inside, 60 floor, 35 three

wade moore i want you two to shoot more 3s as you are good at it so set it to:
0 inside, 50 floor, 50 three

Positional changes:
No changes today.

Play Style: Normal for everybody but the PG's that will set it to special team player (let's get back to this)

Play Time: Short for everybody to create more chances and to move the ball fast.

Passing Preferences: Their SF is a moster so we will avoid him. We are going to send a bit less balls to the PG to not to waste his stamina as soon.

For the PG's set it to:
C=20%
PF=40%
SF=10%
SG=20%

For the SG's set it to:
C=20%
PF=30%
SF=10%
PG=40%

For the SF's set it to:
C=15%
PF=30%
SG=15%
PG=40%

For the PF's set it to:
C=25%
SF=10%
SG=25%
PG=40%

For the C's set it to:
PF=30%
SF=10%
SG=20%
PG=40%

Not sure if you'll check this in time, but I'm still listed as a PF judging by the passing percentages, so I just put down the percentages listed for PF above.

Good win!
C Manuel Martin had a good game, so did Jolley with 10 asists. Hunter was deadly today from the 3pt line and his FG % was incredible. Jordanov was good too from mid range.

I'm so happy about this win, this team ws better than us and a direct rival in the middle fo the league table (that is our goal for this season). We are pulling good wins vs teams sligthy better that us, of course we can't do anything with the top 5 or 6 teams as are far better than us, but let's see in a couple of seasons. I'm definetly enjoying this teamwork experience so i'm pretty sure i'll pay the $10 to keep this team ownership next season if you guys are up for it (it's too early anyway).

Yeah, this game is much better this way. I would've lost interest soon otherwise.

Totally agreed.

Icy, why don't you let us "sponsor" seasons. I'll volunteer for next season, Paypal you $10, and you still run the team and I'm just a sponsor (with no obligations to change my PT or anything).

Whaddya think?

We will talk about that later once the new season is comming, but maybe it would be a better idea to use those $10 to upgrade your player buying cyberpoints, i think Travis did it already for his PG. Of course it would be totally voluntary.

Yeah.. I really need to do that..

I might do it now... you want me to keep doing defensive/ball handling type stuff, right?
