Players that are retiring:

Gasol, Lakers; Drew Gooden, Bulls; Jarrett Jack, Grizzlies; Nene', Thunder.

Coaches Retiring:

Byron Scott, Cavs; Mike D'Antoni, Thunder.

Dirk Nowitzki made the HOF.

Time for the offseason:

Our staff believes that time is catching up to Thabeet (30) and Villanueva (32) despite their relatively young ages.

Our staff believes Mayo and Scott have improved their game the most this offseason.

Our entire staff is back again this year.

We have a 2 year team option on Scott that we exercise.

We also have 1 year options on Mayo and Tiggs that we exercise.

I also exercise the 1 year option on back-up C Donnie Page.

Iggy used his player option for another year in San Antonio at 25 million dollars. He is now 33 and knows the big long term contract may not come.

Bynum declined his option with Detroit and is now the biggest FA available... although maybe not the best..

Robin Lopez, C, for Phoenix also declined his option.. going to be some bigging for these 2 big men.

G Louis Williams declined his option with Chicago. At 30, he is looking for 1 more long term deal.

Re-signing:

Beverly is unhappy with lack of PT. He is insisting he won't re-sign.

Kelley is insisting on talking to other teams and testing his value on the market...

Ditto for Fuller. Hmmm.

Denver has the best chance at the #1 Pick, followed by Toronto, Houston, and Miami... will there be a suprise?

Hmmm, maybe it is rigged! Wade will get his star young PG (maybe) to play beside him as the Heat get the #1 pick. Denver has the 2nd pick, Toronto the 3rd, Houston the 4th, Utah the 5th.

We have our targets at the 30th pick... let's see how it goes.

Welcome to the 2017 Draft. There is an all world PG and a very good PF who are vying for #1.. who will the Heat take?

The Heat take the very talented PF, who is a very productive offensive player although slightly undersized at 6'9 250. Leon Cheeks can make the inside or outside shot look easy. He is a solid defender and rebounder. The biggest issue is limited athleticism. I would have gone with the PG.

The Nuggets try to offer us the #2 pick straight up for Mayo. I decline.

The Nuggets pass on the PG and go for a C in Dennis Jamison. He is 6'11 288 and has great post moves and is a very good post defender. A very good pick the more I look at it.

The Raptors pass on the all-world PG (maybe my scouts were wrong) and take Johnny Davenport. He is a 6'7 225 pound SF from Stanford. Our staff compares him to Mayo and really likes his offensive game, although his defense is questionable.

The Rockets get a steal of a PG at #4. Andrea Garibaldi is from Italy. His game is comapred to Chris Paul. My scouts see him as having A+ potential, A+ athleticism, A outside shooting, and A+ playmaking. I think this guy is going to be rookie of the year, but we'll see.

That is the last of the top tier of players.

With the 5th pick, the Jazz take D.J. Waters. He is a 6'5 220 pound SG who is a reach to me, although he is the best pure shooter in the draft.

The Bobcats trade the #6 pick and Gerald Wallace (who is aging) for James Anderson and the #10 pick of the Spurs.

The Bobcats take Roy Bridges with the 6th pick. He is a 6'6 210 pound SF who is compared Wallace. Nice driving ability and a good outside shot.

The Kings take David Sessions with the 7th pick. He is a 6'2 185 pound PG who is a project. I think he is a bust waiting to happen. However, he does have a nice outside shot and is a decent passer.

The Wizards get the best remaining player on my board with the 8th pick. PF Leo Hill is 6'11 260, is a top tier defender and has decent post moves.

With the 9th pick, the Celtics take Herb Harrington, an undersized SG who is 6'1 200. However, he is the best shooter left in the draft.

The Spurs get the best PG left with the 10th pick. Alan Christie is 6'0 215 and is a very good passer with an ok shot. He is from Indiana State.

Other notable picks:

The Warrios get a very solid pick at 15th with PF Nathan Watson. He is slightly undersized at 6'8 240, but he is a surprising defender who can shoot a bit.

The Clippers trade the 17th pick and Kyle Lowry to the Nuggets for Spencer Miller and Lynn Swift.

The Suns offer the 19th pick for our 30th pick and Villanueva. That is very tempting. I look at the board...

Villanueva is unhappy with his minutes and I see a good target. I pull the trigger!

I get Otis Walsh, a 6'10 228 pound SF from Wisconsin who was projected to go in the lottery, but slid due to poor intangibles. However, he has great athleticism for his size and can shoot the NBA 3. He will be a perfect replacement for Villanueva's role.

With the next pick, the Hornets take Joe Wingate. I almost took him. He is a thin SF/PF at 6'9 216 but can shoot, run, and is a surprisingly good defender according to our scouts.

James Anderson continues to get moved around as the Spurs trade him to the Bulls for the 22nd pick and Luol Deng.

The Spurs take a PF with the pick that I almost took. A great rugged defender. Nice moves by the Spurs.

The Nuggets trade Marc Gasol and the 2nd round 1st pick to the Trailblazers for Shelden Fox.

In the 2nd round, we get Loren Alexander from Loyola Marymount. He is a 6'2 185 point PG with decent athleticism, shooting ability, and playmaking ability according to our scouts. HE also has excellent intangibles and is only 20. He could be a diamond in the rough.

Best pick of the 2nd round (looking back) goes to the Spurs who got a 7'0 233 lb C named Christophe Dupin from France. He is only 20 years old and he is a solid defender and rebounder.

Edited with more draft analysis at the top 10 picks...

I sign my rookies. Kelley is a restricted FA. I offer him a qualifying offer.

A look at the top 5 FA's this year:

RFA Marshall Samuel is only 6'0 210 and only 24. He averaged 25 ppg from Washington last year. He is rated 91 overall.

RFA JJ Stone is 6'3 180 and is rated 83 overall. The PG for Dallas averaged 17.5 ppg and 3.8 apg last year.

SF Wilson Chandler is the top Unrestricted FA. He is 6'8 220 and 30 years old. He is rated 83 overall. He averaged 10.2 ppg from the Knicks last year.

RFA SG Devin Huffman is 6'5 220 and is rated 83 overall. He averaged 15 ppg for the Clippers last year.

26 year old Ben Pope is a 6'0 215 lb SG/PG for Portland who averaged 20 ppg and 1.7 apg last year.

Next top Unrestricted FA's:

SG Lance Stephenson. 6'5 210 SG rated 82 overall. Averaged 13.1 ppg for Indiana last year.

29 year old C Greg Oden, 7'0 285, rated 80 overall. Averaged 8 ppg and 10 rpg last year for Portland.

33 year old PF Chris Bosh. He is 6'11 235 and rated 79 overall. After going to Minnesota for a year, he had his lowest output in years averaging 18.1 ppg and 6.2 rpg.

C Andrew Bynum who is still recovering from his torn ACL and is currently rated 74 as a result. He could bounce back and be a monster...

We re-sign Kelley to a 4 year deal worth 36 million dollars.

I missed one big FA, the one who moves first: Carmelo Anthony goes to Dallas for 3 years and 60 million.

The Suns then make a trio of moves: They get Devin Huffman for 5 years and 90 million, Rod Delk for 3 years and 21 million, and they gamble on Bynum for 5 years and 125 million!

The Mavs add Marcel Micoud for 3 years and 27 million.

The Trailblazers get Wilson Chandler for 4 years at 50 million.

The Mavs then re-sign J.J. Stone to 4 years 60 million.

The Heat could get better fast... they add Lance Stephenson to a 5 year 90 million dollar deal.

The Thunder sign my former C (2nd round pick) Lloyd Madsen to a 4 year 48 million dollar deal. He has become a solid big man in the league.

The Pacers get Chris Bosh for 1 year 10 million.

The Knicks win the Ben Pope lottery for 4 years and 60 million.

The Wolves get the top player in the FA as Samuel signs for 5 years and 90 million.

Oden never signed... hmm, is he worth a flier? Could be if I moved Thabeet, but probably not.

Hmmm, 3 PG's turn down my Mid Level exception, so I come back to Oden who happily signs it! He'll get 20 minutes per night with us. Hopefully, that low limit can keep him healthy.

No good trade offers for Thabeet at the moment. We'll keep him and work him in some games too..

A quick look at our team:

Tiggs, Turner, Mayo, Jefferson, and Scott (who is on his way to becoming the best C in the league.)

Kelley, Ball, Odom, and Thabeet as our top bench players with Walsh getting in there as a prospect who could grow. A little light at G but Loren Alexander might contribute. We also have Bob Lucas, an ok SG from last year.

Congrats on the title.

How do you look at players in the draft pool when there's a trade offer? Bet it's something simple, but I'll be damned if I could find it.

Thanks!

I can't find any way to look. So, I write down a list of guys I'm interested in and mark them off as they get taken.

The Knicks starting 5 look good:

Felton, Ben Pope, Gallinari, Amar'e, and and Hodges (who is a great offensive player but is undersized to play C at 6'9 221.) Scott will be our focus early.

Scott with 2 early baskets, but we go into a drought. Gallinari with a few early 3's. We are down 12-4 early.

7:30 - Oden in for a tired Jefferson (with Scott sliding to PF.)

4:18 - Oden misses his first shot. They are killing it from behind the arc. We are down 20-11.

3:04 - Oden backs down his man and hits a little 4 footer. 23-15.

1:48 - Our new lineup: Tiggs, Ball, Kelley, Jefferson, and Thabeet.

At the end of 1, we are down 24-20.

9 minutes: NY calls time as we are up 26-24. I bring in Tiggs, Turner, Mayo, Kelley, and Thabeet.

7 minutes: Scott back into the game. We lead 29-25.

4 minutes: We lead 38-33. We demonstrate our versatility as we get our rookie in: Turner, Mayo, Walsh, Jefferson, and Scott.

Turner finds Walsh right away for an open jumper.. and he misses it.

Walsh misses his next 2 as well.

At halftime, we are up 48-39.

Turner with 12 points and 2 assists. Mayo with 11 points. Scott with 11 points. Gallinari with 14 points.

6 minutes to go: We are 56-50.

2 minutes to go: We go with Tiggs, Ball, Kelley, Walsh, and Oden.

At the end of 3, we are up 64-58.

i just realized that we don't have Fuller on the team anymore! I'll have to see whose offer he took instead. Regardless, Ball is drilling some big 3's!

10 minutes left: Walsh with his first basket on a 6 footer baseline jumper.

8 minutes left as my starter return. We are up 77-63.

Our starter finish it off strong. We win 91-72. Great defense by our team against a good offensive team.

Scott is the player of the game with 20 points, 8 boards, 1 assist, and 1 block. He shot 9 of 13, 0 of 0, and 2 of 2.

Mayo was bothered by Gallinari's length. He had 18 points, 6 boards, and 1 block. He shot 4 of 14.

Turner with 17 points, 4 boards, 4 assists, and 1 block. He shot 7 of 17.

Kelley led the bench with 10 points, 6 boards, 1 assist, and 1 steal. He shot 4 of 8.

Oden with 7 points and 6 boards in 17 minutes.

Ball with 6 points, 2 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block in 12 minutes. He shot 2 of 4.

Tiggs with 5 points, 4 boards, 10 assists, and 3 turnovers. He shot 1 of 5.

Jefferson with 4 points, 7 boards, and 1 block. He shot 2 of 5.

Walsh with 2 points, 2 boards, and 1 assist in 12 minutes. He shot 1 of 4.

Thabeet with 2 points, 5 boards, and 1 block in 10 minutes.

Gallinari was held to 8 of 24 shooting (mostly by Mayo.) He had 18 points to lead them

Hodges with 16 points and 10 boards. He shot 8 of 18.

Pope with 16 points and 2 assists. Felton with 13 points and 6 assists. Amar'e with 12 points and 7 boards.

Fuller is still a FA. Some surprising FA's left: Yao Ming, Beverly (who refused to sign with me), Tony Parker (who is a shell of himself at 35), Joakim Noah (who is a shell of himself even though he is only 32.)

Fuller is still refusing to sign with us! He thinks he can get 3 million for 1 year.

11/1/17 -

We use the Scott at PF and Thabeet at C lineup to start the 2nd half as well...

We are up 70-54 as I rest Turner with 6 minutes to go, sliding Mayo to SG and bringing in Kelley.

With 1:28 I call time. They are on a 9-0 run. 70-63.

We empty the bench with 2 minutes to go after Mayo hits a final 3 to give us a 20 point lead. 103-83.

We win the game 108-88.

Word on Jefferson is that his ankle is just sprained. He can play through it.

After the game, the Warriors offer an interesting trade. Wayne Ellington who is one of the best sharp shooters in the league and William Olson, a 7'0 210 pound SF who was the 14th pick a few years ago and is a project for Kelley and Ball. This would fill a nice need for an outside shooter with the injuries, but Kelley is too good. I think he could start regularly for us down the line. I pass on the deal.

However, Demarre Carroll is upset about his PT and is causing waves. Thabeet isn't happy with his PT either. Let's see if I can package them for a SG to fill a need off the bench...

I can't find any good trades and I'm not going to worry about Carroll for now.

11/16/17 -

We travel to Orlando. They are 7-2 with a rating of 92 (our current rating due to our injuries.)

Orlando wins 102-100 behind 31 points from Thornton and 15 from Howard.

Scott led us with 19 points. Kelley with 17 points, 10 boards, and 5 assists.

Walsh with a career high 16 points in 18 minutes.

Turner with 13 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, and 1 turnover. He shot 3 of 15. I can't wait to get him back to 100%.

Tiggs with 10 points, 4 boards, 3 assists, and 3 turnovers. He shot 2 of 9.

11/17 -

We play the next night at Boston.

They start our old center Spencer Hawes. He has a nice night with 28 points, but we win 109-100.

Tiggs led us with 26 points, 10 assists, and only 1 turnover. He shot 9 of 11.

Scott with 24 points, 8 boards, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. He shot 11 of 20.

Turner with 24 points, 2 assists, and 1 board.

Kelley with 11 points. Oden with 9 points and 7 boards in 28 minutes.

Our next game is hosting Houston. They are 0-11 with a rating of 68. Their starting 5: PF Patrick Patterson (86), SG Gerald Henderson (74), PG Terrell McKinney (72), SF Johnathan Baylor (73), and C Steven Craig (60.) Their bench is all guys rated in the 60's or lower...

Even with our injuries, should be an easy win.

4:30 - We are up 23-7 as I bring back Jefferson to rest Scott and Kelley. Oden and Jefferson in with Walsh sliding to SF.

1:20 - Jefferson gets a 3rd foul on Patterson. We lead 27-13.

At the end of 1, we are up 32-15.

Scott and Tiggs with 8 each, Jefferson with 7.

Tiggs is on fire early in the 2nd. We lead 44-30 with 6 minutes to go.

Scott has 10 points and 3 assists as he has kicked it out of double teams to open shooters.

7 minutes left: Jefferson with 3 or 4 putback dunks! However, he is tired. Walsh in for him. We lead 64-47.

Patterson is suddenly exploding for them. 12 points in the quarter at the 6 minute mark..

With 6 minutes to go, Scott has had a big quarter. We lead 72-54.

We tire in the last 2 minutes and go deep into our bench.

At the end of 3, we are up 80-62.

They close the gap. 85-74 as I bring back rested starters with 8 minutes to go...

With a 96-76 lead, I pull my starters with 4 minutes to go.

Kelley with 7 points, 10 boars, and 1 steal.

Ball with 3 points and 2 assists.

Lucas with 2 points in 10 minutes.

After the game, we sign a 30 year old sharp shooting SG from the D-League named Chris Jennings. He is from St. John's and has bounced around briefly with the Spurs. He has limited defensive ability or athleticism, but I think he can fill the Fuller role from last year and provide an offensive spark when my bench play is failing to score.

11/21/17 -

We host the Nets who are 9-3 with a 91 rating...

Turner is finally back to looking 100%.

Kelley's injury hurts, but Mayo is close to getting the ok to return. Walsh will step up as the primary back-up at SF/PF. It should be ok. Still, I'll keep looking for a deal for Thabeet for a SG/Wing player.

12/11/17 -

The next night we travel to face Detroit. They are 14-10 with a roster rating of 82 (due to some injuries as well as a lack of a good starting C since they lost Bynum.)

Detroit beats us 100-93. They were led by Anthony Randolph who had 38 points and 20 boards against us! Wall added 30 points and 10 assists.

Tiggs led us with 22 points, 4 boards, and 4 assists. He shot 7 of 12.

Jennings had 15 points in 10 minutes.

Turner with 15 points, 6 boards, 6 assists, and 2 steals. He shot 4 of 14.

Mayo with 14 points, 4 boards, 2 assists, and 1 steal. He shot 6 of 19.

Ball with 10 points and 2 assists.

Scott with 7 points, 4 boards, and 1 block. He shot 3 of 10.

Jefferson with 6 points, 11 boards, and 2 blocks.

After the game, the Bulls offer Serge Ibaka and Louis Williams for Ball and Jefferson. I turn it down.

We are now 16-8. Our next game is at Miami on the 14th. They are 9-14 with a 86 rating. Their starting 5:

Wade (87 rating at age 35), Batum (78), Jeremey Lin (79), Jamal Brooks (76), and Theo Keller (#7 pick in 2016 - rated 73.) Their bench is led by Lance Stephenson (82 but unhappy at lack of PT), Mario Chalmers (70), and the #1 pick in this draft, Leon Cheeks (70.) Cheeks, the 6'9 250 pound PF is averaging 6.3 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 21 mpg.

Scott seems to be back to 100% already.

6 minutes to go: Turner with a nice start for us, but Wade is getting it done on the other end. Wade with 8 points. We are up 12-9 as Turner gets a breather and Jennings comes in. Jefferson also needs a quick break. Walsh in.

2:51 - All of our starters are tired. I go with an entire 2nd unit: Ball, Jennings, Walsh, Page, and Oden. Lots of size inside. We are tied at 20. Wade has 12 as he was beating Jennings regularly but Scott helped block a shot or two.

At the end of 1, we are up 25-24. Jennings with 8 points, Scott with 7, and Turner with 6. Wade has 12 to lead all scorers.

Wade is finally resting while I have refreshed starters all returning...

8:00 - Stephenson is giving them a nice spark. We lead 34-33.

6:00 - We are on a 8-0 run as they call time. Scott is dominating inside. 42-33.

4:00 - Wade is back. We are up 46-33...

Cheeks hits a 3 pointer. Guess that is part of why he was the #1 pick.

Scott hitting a lot of 10-12 footers which makes him almost unguardable.

At halftime, we are up 55-42.

Scott with 16 points to lead all scorers. He also has 7 boards and 3 blocks.

Turner with 13 points and 3 assists.

Mayo and Jennings with 8 points.

Wade leads them with 15 points.

3:30 - 77-55 lead. Our starters are tired. I go with a 2nd unit of Ball, Jennings, Walsh, Oden, and Thabeet.

At the end of 3, we are up 79-62.

10:00 - It is 82-68. Time for our starters to return.

6:30 - Jefferson trying to draw a charge and he looks like he hurt his arm.. it doesn't look good . We are up 88-73.

With 3 minutes left, I pull my starters. We lead 96-77.

In the last 30 seconds, Walsh misses a dunk and hurts his ankle on the attempt

We win the game 99-84.

Scott is the player of the game with 22 points, 11 boards, 2 assists, and 4 blocks. He shot 9 of 13.

Turner with 24 points, 6 assists, 2 boards, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. He shot 9 of 13.

Mayo with 22 points, 8 boards, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block. He shot 9 of 23.

Jennings with 11 points on 4 of 10 shooting.

Tiggs with 10 points, 10 assists, 9 boards, 3 steals, and 5 turnovers. He shot 4 of 9.

Jefferson with 6 points and 13 boards.

Walsh with 2 points and 4 boards.

Oden with 7 boards.

Ball with 3 assists in 11 minutes.

Wade led them with 23 points on 8 of 24 shooting.

Natum with 19 points on 6 of 13 shooting.

Stephenson with 17 points in 25 minutes. He shot 5 of 14.

Keller with 8 points and 3 boards. He shot 2 of 9.

Lin with 5 points and 3 assists in 26 minutes. He shot 2 of 10.

Jefferson has a severely sprained wrist, but he can play through it. He'll be bothered for a few weeks though.

Walsh has a severe ankle sprain and will have to sit out 4-6 weeks.

Due to Jefferson's injury, we are going to start Scott at PF and move Oden into the starting line-up at C for a few weeks. Jefferson will be first big off the bench.

We play the next night hosting Indiana. They are 10-13 with a roster rating of 74...

We beat them 120-98.

Scott thrives in his new role with 26 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, and 4 blocks. He shot 9 of 13 and 8 of 9 from the line. He loves playing PF and his preferred position...

Turner with 31 points, 8 boards, 8 assists, and 1 steal. He shot 12 of 20.

Mayo with 21 points, 10 boards, 3 assists, and 3 steals. He shot 7 of 14.

Tiggs with 18 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals. He shot 5 of 10.

Jennings with 9 points in 15 minutes. He shot 2 of 6.

Ball with 5 points and 5 assists.

Jefferson with 5 points, 5 boards, and 2 blocks in 20 minutes off the bench.

Oden with 2 points, 9 boards, and 2 blocks in 26 minutes.

Thabeet with 4 boards in 15 minutes.

12/17/17 -

We host the Raptors who are 11-14 with a roster rating of 81....

We win 132-123 in double OT.

Mayo with a career high 47 points, 7 boards, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in 44 minutes. He shot 13 of 20, 2 of 2, and 15 of 17.

Tiggs with 23 points, 10 assists, and 7 boards. He shot 7 of 10. Only 1 turnover.

Oden with 17 points, 8 boards, and 5 blocks in 28 minutes. He shot 8 of 11.

Jennings with 12 points in 15 minutes.

Turner with 12 points, 4 boards, 7 assists, and 3 steals. He shot 4 of 12.

Ball with 10 points and 6 assists.

Scott got into foul trouble and only played 22 minutes. He shot 1 of 10 He had 6 points, 4 boards, 3 assists, and 1 block.

Thabeet with 2 points, 4 boards, and 2 blocks in 20 minutes.

Jefferson with 1 point, 4 boards, and 3 assists in 20 minutes.

Our next game is on the 19th hosting the Kings. They are 11-16 with a roster rating of 87...

SG Tyreke Evans (94), SF Thaddeus Young (80), PF Tyrus Thomas (79), SG/PG Vince Hickman (86), C Hassan Whiteside (70).

Their bench is led by F Vlade Tarvac (6'11 240 rated 71 overall - #16 pick in 2015 draft), C Kendrick Perkins (69), PG Sid Toole (69 - #2 pick in 2012 draft - i.e. big bust), and SF Cliff Lindsey (67 - #15 pick in 2016 draft.)

They also have Glen Davis who is demanding a trade and isn't playing much. He is rated 70 overall but is in their dog house.

Another bust on their roster is Arvdas Stojoic who was the #10 pick in the 2013 draft. He is rated 57 overall now.

I made a big decision today about this dynasty. With the upcoming improvements to the NBA 2k franchise, I will likely buy this year after skipping last. With decreased gaming time and competition from football for my sports videogame time, I'm going to move this dynasty ahead much more rapidly with a more macro look. I'll still play out play-off games and try to get the guys 7 rings.

12/19/17 -

We beat Sacramento 110-90. Turner led the way with 31 points, 6 boards, and 6 assists. Mayo with 22 points.

We are now 20-8.

12/22/17 -

Detroit beats us 113-97 behind 29 points and 10 assists from Wall. Mayo with 24 points and 5 boards. Turner with 24 points and 4 assists.

The Warriors offer Wayne Ellington and a 1st round pick for Oden and Ball. Ellington is a great outside shooter and the Warriors are struggling so the 1st round pick might be valuable, but I turn the deal down.

12/27/17 -

We beat the Spurs 100-89 despite 20 points from Iggy. Turner led us with 25 points, 8 boards, and 7 assists. Mayo with 19 points and 11 boards.

12/28 -

Dallas beats us 100-98 behind 21 points from Carmelo Anthony and 21 points and 12 assists from Jrue Holiday.

Mayo led us with 28 points and 7 boards. Turner with 14 points and 7 assists. Scott with 21 points.

12/31 -

We end the year with a 111-90 win over the Rockets. Mayo led the way with 36 points and 10 boards. Turner with 22 points and 10 assists.

Wall was player of the month in the East. LeBron was in the west.

Johnny Davenport won Rookie of the Month in the East for Toronto. Dennis Jamison won it for Denver in the west. Both players won both months.

We beat the Nets 86-83. Mayo and Turner each had 23 points. Jennings with 14 in 14 minutes to lead the bench.

Jefferson is back to 100% and he will start again with Oden moving to the bench.

1/4/18 -

Indiana upsets us 103-102 behind 33 points and 6 assists from Darren Collison. Chris Bosh with 23 points and 14 boards.

Mayo led us with 21 points and 4 boards. Turner with 18 points and 5 assists.

1/5 -

Cleveland upsets us 106-92 behind 36 points and 10 assists from Flynn.

Turner led us with 29 points and 4 assists. Mayo with 18 points.

1/7 -

The Nets beat us 109-85 behind 22 points and 15 boards from Lopez. Devin Harris with 15 points and 5 assists.

Turner led us with 21 points and Mayo with 20.

We are now 23-13 and just a 1/2 game ahead of the Nets for 2nd place in the Eastern Conference...

Going even more macro look at the seasion:

Flip Saunders fired as Rockets Coach.

Mayo with a few 30 plus point games as we go 3-0 the week of the 9th. Better yet, Walsh and Kelley have been cleared to return.

The next day, Oden suffers an injury that he can play through but he will be hampered severely for 3-5 weeks due to ankle problems.

Detroit ends our 3-0 streak with a 108-106 win on the 14th. They got 35 points and 17 boards from Randolph in the win.

Raymond Felton is 1st in Pure Point Rating. The top 5:

1 Felton, Knicks
2. Deron Williams, Utah
3 Cam Campbell, Atlanta
4. Ty Lawson, Orlando
5. Chris Paul, New Orleans

Holiday is at #6. I regret giving him up even though it helped me get a great player.

Mayo with a few more 30 point nights as we go 2-2 in the week we lost to Detroit and Orlando. We beat New Orleans and Memphis.

The Knicks are interested in moving Amar'e.

A few trades:

The Clippers traded C Rolando Ross and SF Trevor Ariza to the Mavs for J.J. Stone and Marcel Micoud.

The Nuggets traded Jeff Teague and Jermaine Wilks to the Kings for Cliff Lindsey and Glen Davis.

And most recently, the Mavericks traded SG Bo Mullin (64 rating at 26 years old) and their 1st round pick to the Bobcats for PF Mitch Huffman (66 rating, 22 years old with good size at 6'10 267 and our staff believes decent potential.)

Our next week, we go 4-0 winning every game by 20 or more points. Mayo broke 30 points 3 times and 40 points once. He's doing better in the simmed games now. Maybe, he'll get an MVP without me playing games which was one of my top goals (for one of my 2 stars to get it.)

Minnesota is shopping Eric Bledsoe and ditto for the Heat and Lance Stephenson who wants to start now..

The Bulls end our streak with a 94-90 win. We bounce back and go 2-2 for the week, also losing to Milwaukee. Scott with a few 30 point games this week and Mayo broke 20 every game.

We are now into Feb with a 33-17 record. The trade deadline is 2 weeks away.

Roy Hibbert is asking to be traded from Indiana as they struggle.

Brandon Jennings won player of the month in the East for Milwaukee. LeBron won it in the West for Memphis.

Davenport (Tor) and Jamison (Den) won rookies of the month for 3rd straight month.

Oden is now healed and will move back into the rotation as we mostly limited his minutes for the last month.

The Grizzlies offer me an interesting trade - Their starting C Eddie Verne who is 6'11 265 with a 72 rating and excellent potential, but he is already 26 and their #1 pick for Oden. I consider it carefully but I'm not sure Verne would be happy with a back-up roll, so I pass.

LMAO!! The Suns offered my SG Devin Huffman for Mayo and Thabeet! Huffman is a 83 rated guard who has great potential but is only averaging 15 ppg. Easiest rejection ever.

Ahh, Thabeet is talking the in the media about wanting to be traded.

The Clippers offer me Beaubois for Tiggs and Thabeet. That is an interesting prospect. Beaubois is a great scorer and has a better handle than Tiggs, but I'll stick with my guys.

The Clippers want to move Beaubois. They offer him for Scott and Kelley (to balance the salaries I guess.) I turn them down.

2 days later, the Clippers offer me the same deal. I turn it down again.

The Bulls beat us again, 100-94. Rose with 33 points and 8 assists.

LMAO. The Wizards offer DeMarcus Cousins (92 rated C) and Donovan Snow (80 rated SG) for Mayo and Turner. I guess that isn't completely crazy, but I easily turn it down.

Of course, if Mayo walks, I may have some regrets about not moving him...

Memphis beats us the next night 100-87 as LeBron had 41 points, 12 boards, and 8 assists. Rough week for us as we go 1-2.

The Knicks offer us Donnie Hodges (93 rated PF averaging 26 ppg) and SG Ben Pope (83 rating averaging 19 ppg) for Turner and Mayo. I turn them down.

The next day the Magic offer Dwight Howard (now 32 but still rated a 90) and their 1st round pick for Turner and Scott. I turn them down.

Turner with 36 points and 12 assists in a 114-113 win over the Lakers to end our losing streak.

We are 35-21 as we enter into the All-Star break.

A look at the Teams:

In the East:

PG John Wall (3rd appearance), G Brandon Jennings (6th), Richie Harper (1st), PF Donnie Hodges (5th), and C DeMarcus Cousins (1st) are the starters.

Jonny Flynn (4th), Owen Blake (3rd), Wesley Johnson (1st), Anthony Randolph (3rd), Dwight Howard (11th), Derrick Rose (6th) and Cam Campbell (2nd) are the East All-Stars. Wow. Turner and Mayo both snubbed. A look at their averages in a minute...

The West:

Chris Paul (11th), Tyreke Evans (6th), LeBron (12th), Durant (9th), and Billy Crawford (5th) are the starters.

Marshall Samuel (3rd), Andre Iguodala (5th), Paul George (2nd), Patrick Patterson (1st), Cole Aldrich (1st), Russell Westbrook (7th) and Deron Williams (7th).

Mayo's snub is unbelievable -25.9 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.3 apg, 1.8 spg, and 1.3 bpg. He is right up there for MVP consideration.

Turner averaging 19 ppg, 6.2 apg, and 4.9 rpg.

Scott averaging 14.2 ppg, 7.1 rpg, and 1.6 bpg.

Tiggs averaging 13.2 ppg and 6.0 apg.

Kelley with a 10.4 ppg and 4.6 rpg average.

Jefferson averaging 5.2 ppg and 8.1 rpg.

None of my guys made the rookie/sophomore game either.

The East won 117-105. Randolph was MVP with 25 points in 17 minutes.

Flynn with 17 points and 11 assists in 22 minutes.

Harper was non-existant. His averages compared to Mayo make me think he wasn't such a bad choice: 21.2 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 6.3 apg, 1.9 spg, and 1.5 bpg.

We come out of the All-Star break with Mayo going down in the 1st game, a loss to the Heat. He will play through the hamstring injury. He had 30 points in the loss.

We lose both games in the week after the all-star game as the Pacers beat us 100-85.

However, we go 3-0 the next week with Mayo getting at least 30 every night.

Wall and LeBron are players of the month for Feb.

Davenport and Jamison win rookies of the month again.

I forgot to look at the only trade that happened mid-Feb before the deadline:

The Cavs traded Uwe Hoffman (73 rated SG who is 27) and Daniel "Booby" Gibson (57 rating at age 32) to the Nuggets for Rodney Stuckey (77 rated PG who is 31)

We go 3-0 the next week as Scott leads us in scoring each night.

We are now 40-24 coming down the stretch....

Tiggs is hurt the 1st game of the next week. He will play through an ankle injury. We go 0-3 the first week of his injury despite Turner having double digit assists every game.

Mayo with 2 40 point games as we go 3-1 this week beating Orlando, Utah, and Phoenix but losing to Portland at their place.

The following week starts off with a trip to LA. We beat the Clippers 123-111 and then the Lakers the next night 108-93. Mayo led our team in scoring both nights.

Turner hurts his knee in practice but will play through it.

We finish off the week a perfect 3-0 with a 129-90 trouncing of the Bulls. Scott with 32 points. Jennings with 22 points in 11 minutes!! Turner with 20 points and 6 assists. Jennings shot 8 of 8 including 4 of 4 from the arc. Wow.

We are now definitely in the playoffs with a 46-28 record.

LeBron is #1 in PER. The top 5:

1. LeBron 33.14
2. Wall 30.17
3. Jennings 29.75
4. Tyreke Evans 29.41
5. Kevin Durant 28.14

Turner is 10th at 26.62

Wall and LeBron are players of the month again.

Davenport and Jamison continue to sweep the Rookie of the Month awards.

Davenport a 6'7 225 pound SF is averaging 8.1 ppg and 3.6 rpg which leads all rookies. He was the #3 pick in the draft.

Jamison a C who is 6'11 290 is averaging 7.5 ppg and 12.1 rpg (which leads all rookies and is leading the NBA.) He was the #2 pick in the draft.

Miami's #1 pick Leon Cheeks is averaging 4.7 ppg and 3.1 rpg in limited minutes off the bench.

The first week in April is a perfect 4-0 as we beat the Pacers, Washington, Knicks, and Cleveland all by at least 20 points. Mayo broke 30 in 3 games and Turner was solid all week as well.

We are 50-28 going into the final regular season week...

We've now won 10 in a row as we beat the Celtics 100-74. Nice time to be peaking. All 5 starters in double digits.

Oden is starting to grouse about his lack of minutes...

We lose 2 games and we lose Walsh to a broken jaw. He'll miss most of the playoffs if not all of them...

Oden will get more minutes now..

A rough week ends with a victory over the Bobcats, 92-68. Turner led the way with 23 points, 10 boards, and 10 assists.

We finish the year 52-30 and #1 in the East.

Here are the Final Standings:

East:

1. Philly 52-30
2. Cavs 51-31
3. Knicks 51-31
4. Pistons 49-33
5. Bulls 47-35
6. Hawks 47-35
7. Nets 46-36
8. Magic 46-36.

Raptors left out at 43-39. Reminds me of the West back in the day.

10. Bucks 37-45
11. Pacers 35-47
12. Bobcats 33-49
13. Heat 31-51
14. Celtics 29-53
15. Wizards 28-54

West:

1. Lakers 57-25
2. Grizzlies 50-32
3. Kings 48-34
4. Thunder 48-34
5. Wolves 47-35
6. Clippers 45-37
7. Blazers 44-38
8. Suns 41-41

9. Spurs 39-43
10. Jazz 38-44
11. Warriors 37-45
12. Hornets 35-47
13. Mavs 30-52
14. Nuggets 23-59
15. Rockets 23-59.

I had a chance to aquire the Rockets #1 pick if I dealt Thabeet and Tiggs in a package for a PG. Will I regret that? Probably not, but we'll see how Tiggs does this post-season.

Time for the post-season. I'm going to see if our team plays up to it's potential and let us sim our first series against the Magic. Hopefully, I don't regret it...

Oden gets hurt in our first game. Bad knee but he can play through it. I should have traded him. He's not going to stick around as he is unhappy with his lack of minutes...

Owen Blake - 6'6 225, SG/SF, 26 years old and one of the best players in the game rated 97 overall. #2 pick of Washington in 2011. If they could have kept him and Wall together they could have been the #1 contender for our crown. Instead, Atlanta has a very nice nucleus around him. Averaged 24.7 ppg, 6.6 rpg, and 4.9 apg this past year.

PG Cam Campbell 6'5, 188, 28 years old, rated 96 overall. Premier dribbler in the game, great passer, great speed, very good shooter. Averaging 20 ppg, 9.1 apg, 4.2 rpg, and 1.6 spg.

PF/C DeJuan Blair, 6'7, 265, 29 years old, rated 84 overall. Good interior scorer. Averaging 11.8 ppg, 7.4 rpg.

PF/C Yi Jianlian, 7'0, 240, 30 years old, rated 83 overall. Great shooter for a big man, has 3 point range. Averaging 14.7 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 1.8 bpg in 33 mpg.

SF Jerome Bowden, 6'7, 243, 26 years old. Averaging 14.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg.

Bench is led by PG/SG Justin Taylor. He is 6'7, 200, 25, rated 74 overall. Good ball handler with a nice shot. Averaging 4.5 ppg and 3.1 apg in limited action.

SG Nihat Ozat, 6'8, 210, 23. 73 rating. Best bench shooter. Averaging 5.9 ppg and 1.5 rpg.

PG Mark Cartwright, 6'0, 170, 67. 2.1 ppg, 1.2 apg.

C Keith Paxson, 6'10, 260, 23, 64 rating. Nice rebounder. 0.6 ppg and 2.3 rpg in limited minutes

C Sasa Jovanovic, 6'9 250, 20, 64 rating. 1.7 ppg and 2.9 rpg in limited minutes.

They also have 2 other C's on their bench who are rated 61 each. Lots of interior depth.

They are undoubtedly the best team in the East I will face.

Yep, this is the first team to match our 99 overall rating!

Let the match-up begin!

First 4 minutes, we jump to a 9-3 lead. Mayo with 6 points quickly.

They bounce right back on some great plays by Campbell to set up easy baskets. 9-9.

5:22 - We are tied at 12 as I call time. Kelley in for Jefferson.

4:30 - They get a 2nd foul on Scott. Thabeet into the game.

Mayo and Turner are our offense. Blake and Cam doing a great job for them.

At the end of 1, we are up 27-24.

Mayo with 16 points already! Turner with 6.

Blake leading them with 9.

Back and forth, free-flowing game. We lead 36-34 with 5:30 to go in the half as I bring in my 2nd unit (except for Scott at C.)

2 minutes left in the half. I bring back our starters. We are down 46-42.

At halftime, we are down 50-44.

Campbell hurting us with his penetration. Yi leads them with 11 points, lots of open looks from Campbell. Campbell with 7 assists.

Mayo leads our team with 18. Turner with 11, Scott with 10.

8:22 - We call time. They are leading 59-48. Tiggs making too many bad passes. Guys not making their shots. Blake catching fire for them...

3:39 - The time out worked. We are now tied at 59. Our defense has been amazing. Guys are tired now though, so I bring in Kelley and Thabeet at PF and C. They call time.

Their time out set up a good 3 for Campbell who swished it.

At the end of 3, we are down 66-63. Mayo was ice cold this quarter.

9:29 - We call time and bring back our starters after they rested for 3 minutes. We are down 76-66 as our Jennings can't hit anything and he can't guard their starters.

Down 82-78 with 3:52 to go, Mayo manages to draw a foul in the lane.

He makes both FT's. 82-80.

Turner steals a pass, dribbles, passes to Tiggs for a breakaway dunk!

Both sides miss shots and then Turner with an errant pass that leads to a turnover.

Campbell to Blake for an open jumper.

Tiggs with an open jumper after he gets into the lane. Tied at 84.

Owens misses a 3, Scott with the board, passes to Tiggs who throws it up the court to Turner.. breakaway, he beats the only defender and dunks it. We lead 86-84.

Yi misses a long 2. Scott with the board. Tiggs throws it away

Campbell with a 3 off a screen. Down 87-86 with 1:20 to go...

Turner misses a 3 and Blake with a breakaway dunk on the other end. 89-86.

Crud. Tiggs with a bad pass that is intercepted.

Campbell with a great drive to set up Yi who gets the dunk and the foul. Down 92-86 with under a minute left.

Tiggs with a quick 3!

Tiggs blocks a shot by Campbell, but Yi gets the Carom. He makes a move and draws a foul on Jefferson. He hits both FT's. 94-89 deficit with 10 seconds to go

Tiggs with a quick 3!! 94-92. 5 seconds left!

They throw it into Blair!! We foul him! He misses both FT's!!

2.6 seconds left to set up a play...

Tiggs gets an open look.. he shoots the 3... and misses.

We lose game 1 in Philly 94-92. This Atlanta team is legit.

Blake is named star of the game, but I would have given it to Campbell. Blake scored more, but he took a lot of shots...

Blake with 25 points, 4 boards, 4 assists, and 3 steals. He shot 11 of 30, 0 of 12 from the arc.

Yi with 20 points, 10 boards, and 2 blocks.

Blair with 10 points and 9 boards.

Bowden with 10 points and 9 boards.

Campbell with 10 points, 6 boards, 13 assists, and 3 steals. He only had 2 turnovers. He shot 3 of 5.

Mayo led us with 23 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. He shot 9 of 19.

Turner with 22 points, 7 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. He shot 9 of 18.

Tiggs with 17 points, 6 boards, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 7 turnovers. He shot 7 of 17.

Scott with 15 points, 9 boards, and 3 blocks.

Jefferson with 12 points, 13 boards, and a block.

Kelley with 3 points and 3 boards. Our bench gave us almost zero tonight.

Retiring Players (game only announces some):

Gilbert Arenas, 36 years old, Celtics.

Emeka Okafor, 35, Pacers.

Coaches Retiring:

Rick Carlisle, Clippers
Flip Saunders, Mavericks

Off season news:

Wow. Jefferson is only 30, but our staff believes he has begun a descent in his skills.

Meanwhile, they believe Scott is showing tremendous growth and that Mayo is still improving his game, especially his outside shooting and strength.

Oden is 30 and in serious decline.

My rookie target list:

SG Albert Kelley - 23 years old but a polished product. 6'6 220 pound SG with an A rated outside game. Likely lottery pick.

SG Henry Reed - 21 year old 6'7 190 pound SG with A athleticism and outside game. Likely lottery pick.

SG - Mitchell Jackson - 22 year old 6'3 200 pound SG with A athleticism and A outside game. Likely top 5 pick.

Joel Harlan - SF/SG - 21 year old 6'5 240 with A athleticism and A+ outside game. Likely top 5 pick.

SG - Samuel Richardson - 21 year old SG at 6'7 220. A- outside game, B athleticism, D- defense and playmaking. Projected in 2nd round. (I might take him late 1st if better targets aren't there.)

Other top 5 projections:

C Dana Nicholson - 7'3 255, 20 years old, polished defender and rebounder with potential on the offensive end.

C Stelios Patsatzoglous - 7'0 265 pound, 22 year old from Greece. Stricty a paint player but has a nice inside game already.

SF Chester Cassell - 6'7 236, 21 year old SF with A+ athleticism, A- outside shooting, A+ defense, B playmaker skills. Could be the 1st pick.

My top PG targets:

Larry Dudley - 6'3 172, 22 years old, best passer in the draft. Solid outside shot. Projected to go in the lottery...

Nienuyan Kim - 6'4 175 pound PG from China. 2nd best passer in the draft and better shooter than Dudley. His defense is suspect, but he could be our pure PG... (Tiggs is going to be a sign and trade possibility..) Projected to go mid-late 1st round.

Luther McMillan - 6'4 188 pound 19 year old PG. He is the most athletic of the top 3 PG's but is not as good of a passer and is a bit of a head case. He is also the worst shooter of the 3. 2nd round grade.

Grant Harrison - 6'3 194 pound PG, 23 years old. Best outside shooter of the 4. Good but not great passer. Great leadership abilities. I'm a bitt worried he might be a shoot first type of player. Poor defense. Projects as late 1st rounder.

Other intriguing players:

Chris Redd: SG 6'6 218 son of former NBA player. Very good shooter. Solid athleticism. Terrible defender. Great intangibles otherwise. Projects as late 1st rounder.

Isaac Malone - SF/PF 6'11 220, 22 years old, good outside shooter who can defend well. Not great athleticism. I have a glut of these types of players, but if move Walsh or Kelley as part of a deal to get a star PG....

Now time to re-sign some players (hopefully)..

Tiggs is refusing to re-sign early. He wants to test FA

Ditto for Mayo!!

Ball is asking for too much to re-sign. We'll reapproach him after we get other pieces in place.

Jennings wants to test his value on the open market.

Ditto for Oden and Page. We have a lot of cap room now... but a lot of pieces to sign...

Best chance for #1 pick: NJ (25%), Denver (19.9%), Washington (15.6), Boston 11.9%, Dallas (8.8) and Heat (6.3)

Will someone else surprise?

Wow. Utah had a slim chance but they got the #1 pick!!

Washington got #2 pick and Miami got lucky and moved up to #3.

The rest of the top 14:

NJ, Denver, Boston, Dallas, Charlotte, Charlotte, New Orleans, Milwaukee, Golden State, San Antonio, and Toronto.

We are picking 28th unless we move up.

Time for the 2018 draft!

1. Utah goes big and takes the C from Greece.

2. Washington goes for a dynamic SF/SG and takes Joel Harlan.

3. The Heat go for the other big man and take Nicholson, instantly adding some great defense to go along with their PF from last year.

The Nets offer me the #4 pick and Terrence Williams for Robin Scott. I'm tempted, but I hope to sign Mayo and don't see a franchise PG available at this spot. (I might go get him later in the draft if an opportunity is there.)

They take Chester Cassell, great value at #4 but I didn't have room with Mayo hopefully coming back.

5. The Nuggets off me the pick for Scott (also offering one of their PF's.) I turn it down. They take Larry Dudley, the top PG.

6. Celtics - Mitchell Jackson, one of the most explosive scorers in the draft.

7. Mavs - SG Franklin Samuels - I think he is a bit of a project. Good size and athleticism at 6'5 220 and only 19 years old.

8. Bobcats -SG Lance Davidson - 6'4, 214, 22 years old. A solid shooter.

9. Bobcats - Stacking up at SG, they take Albert Kelley - A very solid pick.

The Hornets trade the 10th pick and Carl Long to the Pacers for Michael Conley and their #1 pick next year.

10. The Pacers take the 3rd best big man - Leslie Jeffries who is 6'9 265 with a nice little 8-10 foot jumper.

11. Milwaukee gets Henry Reed, the lanky SG.

Other interesting picks:

The Spurs get a raw but high potential SG in Homer Flanders, a 6'6 200 pound SG who is from Ohio State and 19 years old.

Now, here is an interesting trade! The Raptors have offered me an aging Andrea Bargnani and the 14th pick from Jefferson who is in decline but still a very good rebounder and defender..

Yuck. Bargnani is 32 and not aging well at all. Furthermore, he has 2 years left on a bad deal. I'm not hampering my cap with that contract.

The suns have me excited with an offer until I realize they offering the lesser talented Lopez brother ;-) I pass on Robin Lopez (now age 30) and their #15 pick for Kelley and my 1st next year..

19th pick - The Nets take the 2nd PG of the draft, but it is not who I would have picked. They take Grant Harrison!

I start planning trades for Kim...

20th pick doesn't need a PG. I let them take a C.

21st is the Bulls. They don't need a PG.. Except they surprise me and take Kim!

22nd - The Hawks take my other target Isaac Malone.

Hmmm, the Wizards have offered PG Armon Johnson for my 28th pick and Thabeet....

He is a solid PG who averaged 7.5 apg vs 2.4 tpg, but he is 30 and is in decline. I pass.

Without any better options, I draft Chriss Redd.

The Cavs try to trade me their 30th pick along with their 2nd round pick for Walsh and our 1st next year. I decline.

The Rockets like Redd and are wanting to rade for him. They are offering me their 2nd round pick and PG Joe Simms. I turn that down and they draft a big C.

With our 2nd round pick, I take a 7'4 280 pound C from Cincinatti who is reportedly a good rebounder with some shot blocking skills (in a limited area.)

The Post Draft breakdown:

Experts rate the #1 pick veyr high. Looks like he is going to be a talented big man.

The Nets 4th player is the only other player rated that highly to begin.

Joel Harlan the 2nd pick is also rated very highly. Those 3 look like potential superstars.

Time for FA...

Ahhh, Tiggs and Mayo are restricted agents. Whew!

I give them both qualifying offers.

I decide to let Bob Lucas walk and do not offer him such an offer.

Biggest FA's: Chris Paul is a 33 year old FA. Derrick Rose is 29 and in the prime of his career still. Brandon Jennings is 28. Wow. Some huge names, but I don't have the cap room without renouncing my guys which I won't do.

Westbrook too. This is a huge crop of FA PG's!

Other big name FA's too:

Dwight Howard - 32 years old
James Harden - 28 years old
O.J. Mayo - 30
Anthony Randolph - 29
Brook Lopez - 30
Jonny Flynn - 29
Ty Lawson - 30
Iggy - 34
Amar'e - 35

Wow. Mayo turned down a 6 year deal for 114 million from us. That is the max we can offer.

I offer him a 5 year plus player option for 6th. He seems to like this better...

Wow. Lenny signs a 4 year deal from the Pacers for 70 million. I'll go less years if he wants. I match the offer.

The Knicks re-sgin Amar'e for 3 years and 21 million.

The Spurs win the Dwight Howard sweepsteaks. They get him for 4 years and 92 million.

The Raptors sign Jerryd Bayless to 5 years 72 million.

Tiggs signs a 5 year deal for 70 million with us.. interesting we told him we are interested in him as a 6th man and he was ok with that..

The Hornets re-sign Chris Paul to 3 years 65 million.

The Bobcats get Derrick Rose! 5 years for 115 million!

I re-sign Ball to be our backup PG for 3 years and 13 million.

The Pacers get PF Derrick Favors for 5 years and 104 million.

The Raptors get Carlos Boozer for 2 years 3 million total.

The Hornets get Danny Granger for 1 year at 3 million.

The Hornets get Joe Johnson for 1 year at 2 million.

The Pacers get the big deal - Brook Lopez for 5 years and 115 million.

The Magic get Greg Oden for 4 years and 40 million.

The Cavs get G Darnell Schultz for 4 years and 66 million but watch Flynn leave to rival Detroit Pistons who now have 2 great PG's!?! Flynn signs for 5 years and 110 million.

The Spurs get Brandon Jennings to go along with Howard. They pay 5 years 110 million.

The Nets give O.J. Mayo 128 million for 5 years.

The Bobcats get Jerome Bowden for 3 years and 23 million.

The Spurs sign Ramon Sessions to 1 year at 8 million.

The Pacers sign Vince Hickman, a good young SG, to a 4 year 48 million dollar deal.

The Lakers sign Willie Warren, a PG I hoped to get for the MLE to a 3 year 36 million dollar deal.

The Celtics give Ty Lawson 5 years and 100 million.

The Nets get Chris Bosh for 1 year at the MLE.

The Pacers get Anthony Randolph for 5 years and 120 million. They are looking very tough.

Iggy goes to the Wizards for 1 year and 10 million.

The Raptors get Russell Westbrook for 5 years and 128 million.
