Give UConn a little credit, but Christ if you hold a team to 53 points, you should be able to win the game. Butler even shoots 30%, they probably win. If they make a few more free throws, maybe that moves the needle a bit and gives them some confidence.

I think you answered your own question about Stevens.

His team was in position to win. In many cases, they simply did not make shots, which is one of the handful of things that a coach cannot do for his players.
