So starting it again, with the same players and same stats (except for the slight boo boo in relation to Jace Hunter and taking in Vex's changes) but with a slight tweak. I've increased the reputation for the players so that they are somewhat recognised. Hopefully that means the bigger clubs come in and give them opportunities.

Also, I'm running more leagues this time since it appears the US leagues are popular amongst the US players. Also adding the German and French leagues.

Here goes...

End of Season 2007/2008 update:

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Kilmarnock: The 6.5 million rated striker had a very good season with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier Division, helping them to 5th place and a place in Europe next year. The suspicion is that the England U-19 international will be moving for greener pastures soon though.

Season Stats: 29 games (2 sub), 15 goals, 4 assists, 9 MOMs, 4 yellows, 7.48 rating
Named to Scottish Premier League Team of the Week 6 times
Named as Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Month for September 2007
Runner-up in the Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Year award (losing to Steven Fletcher of Hibernian)

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Koln: Daniel plays for Koln in the German Second Division, who came in 2nd this year and get promoted to the First Division for next year. Daniel spent a large part of the season with the Reserve team but managed to get some first team games near the end of the year. Valued at 5.75 million.

Season stats: 4 games (2 sub), 1 goal, 6.75 rating

Anthony Lee, AM L, QPR: The second-best left winger in the Championship this year is Anthony Lee, though he isn't able to push QPR past 19th place in the Championship. The former England U-19 international is currently valued at 3.9 million.

Season stats: 43 games (2 sub), 7 goals, 13 assists, 6 MOM, 7 yellows, 7.09 rating
Named to Championship Team of the Week once
Named to 2008 Championship Players' Select as a sub

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: The Canadian keeper (1 cap) signed for Livorno, who finished 12th in Serie A this year. Unfortunately, Jace did not play a single game for the side as he was on the bench the entire year.

Season Stats: None.

Al Mighty, AM C, Empoli: Al spent the season in the reserves at Empoli where he played quite well, scoring 6 goals and creating 9 goals. Valued at 1.4 million, Al has been capped at U-19 level for Italy. Empoli was relegated from Serie A this year, finishing dead last at 20th place.

Season stats: None.

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Vit. Guimaraes: The U-19 Brazil international spent the season on loan at Moreirense, a lower division Portugese side. He will hope to return to Vit Guimaraes next year, who finished in 7th place in the Portugese First Division.

Season Stats: 41 games, 1 goals, 5 assists, 5 MOMs, 10 yellows, 6.90 rating

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Celtic: Qwikshot signed for Scottish Premier League runners-up Celtic but only managed to make 2 appearances in Europe for them (conceding 4 goals in the process). Valued at 120k, Qwikshot has been capped at the U-21 level by the Czech Republic.

Season Stats: 2 games (1 sub), 4 conceded, 6.00 rating

Torin Mayhem, GK, Hull: The England U-19 international spent most of the season learning from the bench as well, though he did manage to make 1 appearance and kept his first ever clean sheet. Valued at 110k. Hull was relegated from the Championship, finishing in 23rd out of of 24 teams.

Season Stats: 1 game, 1 clean sheet, 7.00 rating

Richard Dixon, GK, Airdrie Utd: The 40k goalkeeper has also been capped for the England U-19 side and this has been a rough season for the youngster, although he did manage to help Airdrie to 2nd place in the Scottish 2nd Division.

Season Stats: 42 games, 53 conceded, 9 clean sheets, 8 yellows, 2 reds, 6.29 rating

K.N. Smith, M C, Eintracht Braunschweig: K.N. is playing for a German lower division side and he was adequate for them in his 27 appearances. Currently valued at 30k.

Season Stats: 27 games, 1 goal, 5 assists, 9 yellows, 6.19 rating

Rob Nielsen, ST, California: Rob Nielsen is currently playing for semi-professional side California, where he has managed to score 3 goals in 6 games. Valued at 24k, he has been capped by the US U-21 side.

Season Stats: 6 games, 3 goals, 2 assists, 1 MOM, 7.17 rating

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Dundee: Tom plays for Dundee in the Scottish First Division (just below the Premier Division) and was part of the side that came in 7th. He struggled at times with the level of play and will look to improve next year.

Season Stats: 21 games (3 sub), 1 goal, 4 assists, 1 yellow, 6.05 rating

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM/M LC, Kiel: Another player playing for a lower division German side, Charles played a lot this year and has been capped by the French U-19 side. Valued at 14k.

Season Stats: 42 games, 2 goals, 3 assists, 10 yellows, 1 red, 6.26 rating.

Sean Treacy (signing for QPR in 2009) and Will Brown (signing for Ternana in 2009) were too young to play professionally this year.

End of Season 2008/2009 update:

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Kilmarnock: The U-19 England striker spends another productive year at Kilmarnock and his value has risen to 8.75 million. Sadly, his team isn't as good as him and nearly got relegated from the Scottish Premier League.

Season Stats: 41 games (4 sub), 14 goals, 2 assists, 5 MOM, 5 yellows, 7.07 rating
Named to Scottish Premier League team of the week once
Third place in the Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Year award (losing to Chris Maguire of Aberdeen and Lee Wallace of Hearts)
2007 Kilmarnock Supporter's Player of the Year
2007 Kilmarnock Seasonal Best 11

Anthony Lee, AM L, QPR: A slight dip in performance this year for Anthony Lee although he still performs well enough to be called up to the England U-21 team. Valued at 5.5 million, the left-winger was unable to push QPR up the table (20th place).

Season stats: 29 games (8 sub), 4 goals, 9 assists, 3 MOM, 5 yellows, 6.79 rating
2007 QPR Seasonal Best 11
2007 QPR Supporter's Player of the Year

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Koln: The 4.9 million striker was a bit player at Koln again this year, though he did make more appearances compared to last season. Koln finished 10th in the German First Division, a respectable showing for the newly promoted club.

Season stats: 8 games (3 sub), 1 yellow, 6.00 rating

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: The 4 million Canadian keeper is slowly being given more opportunities by his club and country (13 caps at age 20). He made 5 appearances for Livorno this year where he played pretty well. This prompted Juventus to swoop in and co-own Jace Hunter. Livorno finished 16th in Serie A (nearly relegated) while Juventus finished 2nd.

Season Stats: 5 games, 5 conceded, 1 lean sheet, 6.60 rating

Al Mighty, AM C, Empoli: Juventus also stepped in to co-own Al Mighty, clearly impressed by his potential. The Italian U-21 international did not play a first team game for Empoli this year, although he did appear in the reserves regularly where he scored 2 and made 5 goals. Valued at 3.2 million. Empoli were promoted back to Serie A after finishing 2nd in Serie B.

Season stats: None.

Rob Nielsen, ST, New England: Rob's been really busy this past year. First, he moved from California to Elversberg, a German 2nd Division side for 7k, where he scored 6 goals and created 6 more in 22 games. This impressed MLS side New England sufficiently to fork out 2.6 million to bring him back to the US. The US U-21 international is currently valued at 3 million.

Season Stats: (New England) 6 games, 6 goals, 1 assist, 3 MOM, 7.67 rating
MLS Player of the Month for April 2008
California career stats (league only): 14 games, 9 goals, 4 assists, 3 MOM, 7.50 rating
Elversberg career stats (league only): 22 games, 6 goals, 6 assists, 4 MOM, 7.23 rating

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: The England U-21 international made a free transfer to Wigan during the mid-season transfer window and he managed to get his first Premier League start at the last game of the season. The 2.2 million keeper will be competing with Chris Kirkland for playing time next year. Wigan finished 16th in the Premier League.

Season Stats: 1 game, 2 conceded, 6.00 rating
Hull City career stats (league only): 2 games, 2 conceded, 1 clean sheet, 7.00 rating

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Vit. Guimaraes: Dayne decides that he might have more chance with international football with the Portugese and switches to the Portugese U-21 side this year. The 950k defender will be playing in Europe next year as he helped his side win the Portugese League Cup. Vit Guimaraes finished 12th in the Portugese First Division.

Season Stats: 18 games (1 sub), 1 assist, 1 MOM, 1 yellow, 6.78 rating

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Aston Villa: Qwikshot is another player who moves this year as he joins Aston Villa for 600k. The Czech U-21 international, who is valued at 825k, played a few games for the Villans when Thomas Sorenson was out with an injury but was unable to hold on to that position, partly because he let in 11 goals in 7 games. Sevilla are reportedly interested in signing him though.

Season Stats: 7 games, 11 conceded, 2 clean sheets, 1 yellow, 6.29 rating
Celtic career stats (league only): none.

K.N. Smith, M C, Eintracht Braunschweig: K.N.'s performances last year were good enough for Furth, a German Second Division side, to step in and pay 170k for his services. K.N. was a sometime starter for his new club, which just failed to win promotion to the First Division when they came in 4th.

Season Stats: 11 games, 4 assists, 3 yellows, 6.55 rating
Eintracht career stats (league only): 45 games, 5 goals, 5 assists, 6.36 rating

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM/M LC, Hannover: It's not totally clear how the 180k French U-21 international made the move from Kiel to First Division side Hannover but it happened. Charles played sparingly for the first team, which managed to come in 12th in the German First Division, though he did manage to score his first ever goal in the First Divison.

Season Stats: 12 games (1 sub), 1 goal, 1 yellow, 6.00 rating
Kiel career stats (league only): 34 games, 1 goal, 2 assists, 6.26 rating

Sean Treacy, DM C, QPR: The US U-21 international joined QPR at the start of 2009 and was placed in the reserve squad to get used to the English game. He managed to breakthrough to the first team for the last 2 games of the season though. Valued at 160k.

Season stats: 2 games, 1 yellow, 7.00 rating

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Dundee: Tom finally seized a regular first team spot in Dundee and helps push them to 1st place in the Scottish First Division and promotion to the Premier League next year. The 55k midfielder is currently tutoring Michael Scott, a 17 year old AM/F C, though the benefits are unclear (5 games, 5.40 rating).

Season Stats: 39 games, 6 goals, 8 assists, 3 MOM, 3 yellows, 6.49 rating
Scottish First Division winner
Named to 2008/2009 Scottish First Division team of the Week twice
2008 Dundee Seasonal Best 11

Richard Dixon, GK, Airdrie Utd: Young Richard Dixon is leaving Scotland after helping Airdrie win the Scottish Second Division. The England U-19 international, valued at 16k, is joining Gillingham next season on a free transfer. He played well this year and was very solid as a keeper.

Season Stats: 36 games, 31 conceded, 14 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 5 yellows, 6.61 rating
Named to 2008/2009 Scottish 2nd Division Team of the Week once
2008 Airdrie Utd Seasonal Best 11

Will Brown (signing for Ternana in 2009)

Start of Season 2009/2010 Update:

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Kilmarnock: The former U-19 England striker (he's 20 now) sees his value rise again to 9.25 million. He's indispensable to his club and has started off the season with 3 goals in 5 games.

Anthony Lee, AM L, QPR: Anthony has been travelling with the England U-21's but hasn't yet been given his first cap yet, though that should come soon. Valued at 5.5 million, he has started the season in good form with 2 goals in 5 games for QPR.

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Koln: There are indications that Daniel is unhappy at Koln as he has been unable to force his way into the first team so far. The 4.1 million striker may be looking for a new club soon at this rate.

Al Mighty, AM C, Empoli: The Italian U-21 asn't appeared for Empoli yet although he is no longer with the reserves. In potentially scary news, a Serie C club, Sambenedettese, is reportedly interested in signing Al (not least because typing that out would be a real pain for me). Valued at 3.8 million.

Rob Nielsen, ST, New England: Rob's form has dipped slightly but he's still playing very well overall for New England, who are 2nd in the Eastern Conference behind Rob's 7 league goals. Valued at 3.7 million.

Season stats: 21 games (1 sub), 10 goals, 2 assists, 5 MOM, 3 yellows, 7.24 rating

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: Unfortunate start to the season for Jace, who had appeared in line to start for Livorno this year. He appeared in the club's first 2 games (Euro Vase 1st round) but suffered a bad ankle sprain and will be out for an extended time. Valued at 3.6 million.

Season Stats: 2 games, 1 conceded, 1 clean sheet, 6.50 rating

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: The England U-21 international will likely be the first choice substitute keeper this year behind new signing Uruguayan first choice keeper Sebastian Viera (26 years old). Chris Kirkland left during the offseason on a free transfer to Inter.

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM/M LC, Hannover: The French U-21 international appears to have cemented a first team spot at central midfield at the start of the season and has started the club's first 4 games. Valued at 1.3 million, Charles has shown a creative side to his game by creating 2 goals in those 4 games.

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Aston Villa: Qwikshot will be the understudy to Thomas Sorenson this season it appears. It wasn't totally unexpected since Qwikshot is only 18 years old but the future looks promising for him. Valued at 1 million.

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Vit. Guimaraes: The first choice centreback for his club, Dayne hasn't played very well in the league but performed decently in cup competitions so far. The Portugese U-21 international is valued at 875k.

Richard Dixon, GK, Gillingham: 19 year old Richard Dixon is the first choice keeper for the Gillingham and has also been called up to the England U-21 squad. He's finding it a rough adjustment to the English League 1 though as he's let in 10 goals in 6 games so far. Valued at 250k.

Will Brown, ST, Ternana: Will makes an impressive debut for Serie C side Ternana, scoring 2 goals. The 18 year old is valued at 180k and, if he can keep up his performances, it's likely he'll be moving sooner rather than later.

K.N. Smith, M C, Furth: K.N. has started 3 out of Furth's first 4 games but has recently been sent to the bench as he hasn't played well so far (6.00 rating in 3 games). He has created 1 goal this season though. Valued at 180k.

Sean Treacy, DM C, QPR: The US U-21 international is valued at 150k. He hasn't been able to get a place in the first 16 for QPR so far, although he played well in pre-season (3 assists in 6 games). Hopefully that changes for him soon.

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Dundee: Tom will be playing in one of the 2 AM C slots that Dundee uses in its formation (a Christmas tree formation). He's valued at 55k and will be looking forward to helping Dundee survive in the Scottish Premier League this year.

Midseason Update teaser (will do a start and end of season update only, make predictions if you wish):

So as at 1 February 2010, with the transfer window closed, some things have happened:

2 players have signed contracts with new clubs for 2010/2011. One will play for Serie B side AlbinoLeffe, the other will play for Sporting Lisbon in the Portugese First Division.

Some players transferred before the season started or during the mid-season transfer window. One joined Arsenal, another signed for St. Pauli (German Second Division side) and the last signed for Celtic.

A player went out on a long-term loan to Bielefeld.

Top stats so far for the 15 players:

Will Brown has scored 15 goals in 17 games, Goldrin Goldberg has 13 in 25 games.

Anthony Lee has 5 assists and Will Brown has 4 assists.

Dayne Ho has 4 MOM awards, Will Brown has 2.

Highest rating belongs to Will Brown (7.41), Goldrin Goldberg is at 7.04 and Anthony Lee at 7.00.

End of Season 2009/2010 Update:

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Kilmarnock: Goldrin finally wins Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Year, after coming in 2nd and 3rd in the past 2 years. He was also named as the 2009 Supporter's Player of the Year and he's loved in Kilmarnock. Valued at 9.5 million, his 15 league goals helped propel Kilmarnock to 6th place in the league, just off a European spot.

Season Stats: 39 games, 19 goals, 1 assist, 1 MOM, 7 yellows, 7.08 rating
Named as Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Year for January 2010
Scottish Young Player of the Year for 2009/2010
2009 Supporter's Player of the Year

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: After making one appearance for Villa, Arsenal saw something in him that they really liked and splashed out 6 million for the Czech U-21 keeper. Little wonder since Lehmann retired and the first choice keeper is Fabianski. Qwikshot is now valued at 6.25 million.

Season Stats: 6 games (1 sub), 7 conceded, 1 clean sheet, 1 yellow, 6.67 rating
Aston Villa career stats (league only): 1 game, 1 conceded, 7.00 rating

Rob Nielsen, ST, New England: The 20 year old striker is now valued at 6 million and has started the MLS season with 1 goal in 3 games. Los Angeles is reportedly interested in signing him at this time, will he move?

Last Season's stats (league only): 25 games, 11 goals, 2 assists, 4 MOM, 7.16 rating
2009 Supporter's Player of the Year
2009 New England Seasonal Best 11
Inducted into New England Overall Best Eleven in 2009

Anthony Lee, AM L, QPR: After a slightly off year last season, Anthony bounces back and is again named to the Championship Players' Select (on the bench again though). Unfortunately, while the 5.5 million winger played well, his club only managed 20th place in the Championship.

Season Stats: 36 games (2 sub), 9 goals, 5 assists, 2 MOM, 3 yellows, 7.17 rating
Championship Young Player of the Month for December 2009
Named to 2010 Championship Players' Select

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM/M LC, Hannover: Charles improves on his performance from last year as he averages 6.42 in 19 games. He helped propel Hannover to 8th place in the German First Divison, a 4 spot improvement from last year. Valued at 3.7 million, he has 7 caps for the French U-21 side.

Season Stats: 19 games (3 sub), 3 goals, 3 assists, 3 yellows, 1 red, 6.42 rating

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Koln: Another rough year for Daniel as he fails to get much playing time. Daniel managed to get 4 games in for Koln and scored 2 goals in that span but was subsequently loaned out to Bielefeld .. who didn't play him in a single match. The 3.6 million strike will probably be waiting for the right time to move. Koln finished 10th in the German First Division.

Season Stats: 4 games, 2 goals, 6.50 rating

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: The 3.3 million goalkeeper plays in 2 Premier League games this year and performed well when called upon (7.00 rating). He's very young and he can bide his time for a regular spot in the line-up, though a loan spell might do him some good. Wigan finsished 12th in the Premier League.

Season Stats: 2 games, 1 conceded, 1 clean sheet, 1 yellow, 7.00 rating

Al Mighty, AM C, Empoli: Al will be staying on at Empoli where he has begun making bit appearances for the first team though he hasn't impressed yet. Empoli go straight back to Serie B, finishing dead last in Serie A this year.

Season Stats: 7 games (6 sub), 1 yellow, 6.00 rating

K.N. Smith, M C, St. Pauli: After 10 games for Furth in the German Second Division, St. Pauli (another Second Division side) paid 1.3 million for K.N. Smith's services. K.N. performed well when given the opportunity to play but his new club only managed 13th place in the Second Division (Furth was 10th).

Season Stats: 8 games (1 sub), 1 goal, 1 assist, 3 yellows, 7.00 rating
Furth career stats (league only): 21 games, 8 assists, 6.53 rating

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Vit. Guimaraes: After performing solidly for his club for the first half of the year, Dayne was offered the chance to move to Sporting, one of the top clubs in the Portugese League and he jumped at the chance. He'll leave Vit Guimares with fond memories and a Portugese League Cup medal.

Season Stats: 35 games (1 sub), 1 assist, 4 MOM, 3 yellows, 6.86 rating
2009 Vit Guimaraes Seasonal Best 11

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: Jace saw his value plummet this year to 825k. After going down with an early injury, he wasn't able to win the first choice keeper spot, though he did manage to make the occasional appearance for Livorno. Livorno finished 8th in Serie A this year.

Season Stats: 3 games, 4 conceded, 1 clean sheet, 6.33 rating

Sean Treacy, DM C, Celtic: Sean made 7 first team appearances for QPR before making a 350k move to Celtic (2nd in the Scottish Premier League). While it's a bigger club, the question that will have to be asked is whether Sean will get much playing time there.

Season Stats: 1 game, 6.00 rating
QPR career stats (league only): 9 games, 1 assist, 6.56 rating

Richard Dixon, GK, Gillingham: Richard has been travelling with the England U-21 side but Torin has been preventing him from getting his first cap. Richard's season as the Gillingham keeper went pretty well though he'll probably feel he let in too many goals. Gillingham finished 10th in League 1. Valued at 240k, Gillingham may have difficulties keeping him as Sunderland, Watford and Rangers have begun scouting Richard.

Season Stats: 45 games, 53 conceded, 13 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 6 yellows, 2 reds, 6.62 rating

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Dundee: Tom fell out of favour with his manager early in the season before regaining a first team spot near the end of the season. This resulted in Tom only featuring in 13 games for the club. Despite this, newly promoted Championship side Bradford City has offered 120k for Tom's services, though the offer hasn't been accepted yet by Dundee. Dundee finished last in the Scottish Premier League and have been relegated.

Season Stats: 13 games (4 sub), 5 goals, 1 MOM, 2 yellows, 6.85 rating
Named to Scottish Premier League Team of the Week once

Will Brown, ST, Ternana: Will will be leaving for AlbinoLeffe in the off-season. The US U-19 international, currently valued at 75k, was in scintillating form for Ternana this year with 23 goals in 28 games. He'll hope to make a seamless transition to Serie B next year.

Season Stats: 28 games, 23 goals, 6 assists, 2 MOM, 7.50 rating

Start of Season 2010/2011 Update:

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Kilmarnock: Goldrin Goldberg starts his 4th season with Kilmarnock where he is now valued at 10 million. There are rumours of unhappiness though as Goldrin Goldberg feels his club shouldn't have sold Andrejs Pereplotkins to Brescia just before the transfer window closed. Goldrin has failed to find the net in the first 3 games of the season.

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Sporting: The 7.25 million defender joined Sporting and was then promptly loaned out to German First Division side HSV. Dayne will likely be a starter there as Sporting hope he gains more experience before returning to them.

Rob Nielsen, ST, New England: Rob stays at New England and is continuing to be deadly in front of goal (11 goals in 19 games so far). He will be disappointed that he hasn't managed more than 1 cap so far for the US U-21s though. Juventus are reportedly interested in Rob ... along with Watford.

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: This was to be the season Qwikshot started at Arsenal ... and then he twists his ankle in the first league match of the year. He's out for 4 weeks and he'll hope that he doesn't suffer the same fate as Jace Hunter last year.

Anthony Lee, AM L, QPR: The talented left winger is another player that starts his 4th year for his club and it's likely that he'll be looking to either push QPR to the next level or find another club. He has 2 assists in the first 4 games of the year.

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM/M LC, Hannover: Charles will look forward to contributing more this year at Hannover where he has started 2 out of the first 3 games of the season.

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Koln: This may be the year Daniel gets his chance to shine. He has made 3 appearances for Koln so far and scored 2 goals and he'll be hoping to keep that up for the rest of the year. Frankfurt has been impressed by his performances and may be interested in acquiring him.

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: This will be another learning year for Torin as he starts on the bench again, which wasn't totally unexpected.

Al Mighty, AM C, Empoli: Al will be looking forward to breaking into the first team on a regular basis this year. There's a chance there as he started in an Italian cup match for Empoli, getting a 7 rating.

K.N. Smith, M C, St. Pauli: K.N. will probably be in and out of the St. Pauli first team this year as he is one of the first subs off the bench. Good performances this year might get him called up to the Swiss national team.

Will Brown, ST, Ternana: Will starts the season brightly for AlbinoLeffe as he scores 2 goals in his first 2 games for them. If he can maintain this form, he's going to be looking at another move soon.

Richard Dixon, GK, Sunderland: As expected, Richard leaves Gillingham in the off-season for Sunderland for a fee of 325k. He's another young keeper that will not be playing much this year for a Premiership club it appears.

Sean Treacy, DM C, Celtic: Are the doubts setting in now for Sean? He's been moved down to the Celtic reserve team and been listed as available for loan. He'll be hoping that his decision to leave QPR doesn't screw him over.

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Bradford: Another expected move as Tom leaves Dundee for Bradford City in the Championship. He's started 4 games for Bradford so far but hasn't quite gotten used to his new club's playing style yet (6.25 rating).

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: Wow, Jace's contract expires and isn't renewed by Livorno. He's on a rolling month to month contract but it's shocking how far Jace has fallen since his ankle injury last year. Hopefully he signs for someone who will give him a chance this year.

End of Season 2010/2011 Update:

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Koln: In his first full season as a first team striker, Daniel impresses and sees his value rise to 9 million, although the US team still hasn't called him up. He scores 10 goals for the season and was the third highest scorer behind Landon Donovan and Tiago Cavalcanti. Koln finished in 14th place in the German First Division.

Season Stats: 26 games (2 sub), 10 goals, 2 MOM, 2 yellows, 7.04 rating

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Sporting: Dayne had a very solid season for HSV (12th in the German First Division) as he averaged a 7 rating. Valued at 7.5 million, he'll be returning to Sporting next season and hope to break into the first team there.

Season Stats: 29 games (1 sub), 1 goal, 3 assists, 3 yellows, 7.00 rating

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: A very injury plagued season for Qwikshot this year although he was the first choice keeper whenever fit. A total of 12 weeks out with multiple injuries this year meant that he missed a lot of games. Valued at 6.75 million, Qwikshot received a runner's up medal in the English League Cup with Arsenal (6th in the Premier League), when they lost 2-1 to Liverpool.

Season Stats: 19 games, 26 conceded, 3 clean sheets, 1 yellow, 6.47 rating
2011 League Cup runners-up

Will Brown, ST, AlbinoLeffe: Will makes a smooth transition to Serie B as he scores 17 league goals in 38 games. The US U-21 international is currently valued at 6.75 million and is proving to be a very deadly striker. AlbinoLeffe finished the season in 4th place in Serie B.

Season Stats: 39 games, 18 goals, 5 assists, 5 MOM, 4 yellows, 7.26 rating
Named to Serie B Team of the Week twice

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM/M LC, Hannover: Charles had a decent season with Hannover this year but he's reportedly slightly dissatisfied with the club's underachievement. Hannover had finished the season in 15th place in the German First Division and were nearly relegated. Valued at 6.5 million.

Season Stats: 26 games (6 sub), 5 assists, 1 MOM, 5 yellows, 6.42 rating

Rob Nielsen, ST, New England: Rob is still at New England but with 11 clubs interested in him, it looks like it's only a matter of time before he moves. He's started the season for New England with 4 goals in 9 games, in line with his excellent goalscoring record thus far in his career. Valued at 6 million.

Last Season's stats (league only): 24 games, 12 goals, 1 assist, 5 MOM, 7.33 rating
2010 Supporter's Player of the Year
2010 US Cup winner
2010 New England Seasonal Best 11
Awarded a Goal of the Week award
Named as American Alll Stars East Supporter's Player of the Year

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: Jace finally signed a new contract with Livorno but again had limited opportunities to prove his worth to the club (just 1 appearance). Valued at 3.7 million.

Season Stats: 1 game, 1 conceded, 6.00 rating

Sean Treacy, DM C, Celtic: Sean did not give up at Celtic and, when given the opportunity to play for the first team, he seized it and proved his worth to the manager. He appeared in a total of 20 games for Celtic this year and played well consistently. Valued at 3.1 million.

Season Stats: 20 games, 1 goal, 6 assists, 1 MOM, 2 yellows, 6.65 rating

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Kilmarnock: Goldrin's value drops to 2.6 million but expect it to rise next season again. The reason? He moved on a relatively low value transfer to Premiership runners-up Chelsea. Goldrin was an excellent performer once again, helping Kilmarnock to 4th place in the Scottish Premier League, and the supporters are distraught that he's leaving.

Season Stats: 37 games, 18 goals, 2 assists, 10 MOM, 3 yellows, 7.30 rating
2010 Supporter's Player of the Year
Named to Scottish Premier League Team of the Week 6 times
Named as Scottish Premier League Player of the Month twice
Runner-up as Scottish Premier League's Football Writers' Player of the Year award (behind Rangers midfielder Thomas Buffel)

Richard Dixon, GK, Sunderland: As expected, Richard only appeared in 2 games for Sunderland this year (9th in the Premiership) but he finally got his U-21 caps for England. Valued at 2 million, Richard also received a FA Cup runners-up medal when Sunderland lost 2-1 to Blackburn in the finals.

Season Stats: 2 games (1 sub), 2 clean sheets, 7.50 rating
2011 FA Cup runners' up
Named to English Premier League Team of the Week once

Anthony Lee, AM L, QPR: Anthony's team performed slightly better this year (18th place) but it may be time for him to move after another brilliant year. He manaed 19 assists in all competitions (17 in the league) and there are a host of clubs interested in the 1.8 million winger, including Middlesborough, Portsmouth, Wigan, Rangers and Celtic.

Season Stats: 46 games, 9 goals, 19 assists, 9 MOMs, 6 yellows, 7.17 rating
Named to 2011 Championship Players' Select (first 11 this time)

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: 1.5 million rated Torin plays quite a bit for Wigan this year (17 games) and he'll be looking forward to more playing time next year. He played well in those games as he let in only 13 goals in 17 games. Wigan finished 15th in the Premiership.

Season Stats: 17 games, 13 conceded, 8 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 2 yellows, 6.82 rating
Named to English Premier League Team of the Week once

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Bradford: Tom might not have been as regular in the first team as he might have liked this year but he will be glad that Bradford just avoided relegation from the Championship (20th out of 24). The 220k midfielder will want to improve his performances next year.

Season Stats: 25 games (7 sub), 1 goal, 2 assists, 2 MOM, 2 yellows, 6.40 rating

Al Mighty, AM C, Empoli: Al's had enough as he again found it hard to get decent playing time for Empoli. As a result, he agreed to a transfer to Serie A side Triestina, where he'll be hoping his fortunes change for the better. Empoli finished 16th in Serie B while Triestina finished 15th in Serie A. Valued at 190k.

Season Stats: 8 games (3 sub), 1 assist, 3 yellows, 6.63 rating

K.N. Smith, M C, St. Pauli: K.N. moves yet again, this time on a 130k transfer to Sevilla (15th in Spanish First Division). He was given a number of opportunities to prove himself and he hasn't disappointed so far. K.N. is travelling with the Swiss team to play in their Euro qualifiers and he'll hope to get his first cap soon.

Season Stats: 14 games (1 sub), 3 assists, 1 MOM, 2 yellows, 6.29 rating
St. Pauli career stats (league only): 21 games, 4 goals, 3 assists, 6.62 rating

Start of Season 2011/2012 Update:

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Toluca: Dear Daniel, wanting to move on a big money transfer can be a good idea .. but not when it's to a Mexican side! Daniel Ertmann leaves Koln to sign for Toluca in the Mexican First Division for 11.25 million, where admittedly he's on fire (6 goals in 4 games).

Koln career stats (First Division League only): 32 games, 10 goals, 1 MOM, 6.65 rating

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Chelsea: The 10.75 million rated strike is considered a hot prospect for the future for Chelsea who have already indicated he isnt available for loan. They promptly chucked him in the reserves.

Kilmarnock career stats (League only): 119 games, 52 goals, 7 assists, 19 MOM, 7.20 rating

Will Brown, ST, Palermo: And another striker made his move in the off-season, joining Palermo for 9.5 million. Will may get opportunities to play this year as Palermo only carry 4 strikers on their squad. Will has made steady progression each year, moving from Serie C to B and now to A.

AlbinoLeffe career stats (League only): 42 games, 18 goals, 5 assists, 5 MOM, 7.21 rating

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: Qwikshot has again been handed the No. 1 jersey at Ashburton Grove and he'll hope to avoid the injuries he suffered last year. Valued at 7 million.

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM/M LC, Hannover: Schex has been handed the left wing spot for Hannover and he'll be looking forward to another solid season again. There is interest from various French clubs in the 6.5 million rated player though, including Marseille.

Anthony Lee, AM L, Rangers: Anthony finally bid adieu to QPR for Rangers in the Scottish Premier League (winners the past 2 seasons). It looks like Anthony will be starting for the Gers this year and he has already scored 2 and created 2 goals in his first 3 games for Rangers. Valued at 6 million.

QPR career stats (League only): 144 games, 28 goals, 43 assists, 19 MOM, 7.08 rating

Al Mighty, AM C, Triestina: Another year for Al to hope that he gets a regular opportunity to play topflight football. He has started Triestina's first Serie A game of the season (1-1 against Roma) and he played well (7 rating). Valued at 5.5 million.

Empoli career stats (league only): 15 games, 1 assist, 6.27 rating

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Sporting: Dayne starts the season on the sub's bench but he may get his chances this year. On his debut for the club, he was named MOM and created a goal as well as got an 8 rating. Some big names are interested in the 4.9 million defender, including Bayern and PSV.

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: Will Jace be looking for a move soon? He's again the backup keeper and the Canadian international must be getting frustrated at this state of affairs. Value of 4.4 million.

Sean Treacy, DM C, Celtic: Sean may again find it hard to get playing time this year as he doesn't seem to figure in the first team squad at this time. He was given a chance to start but he didn't impress (6.00 rating) and it may get more difficult since he's just dislocated his jaw in training. Valued at 3.7 million.

Rob Nielsen, ST, New England: Rob is unhappy and he's letting his club know. New England is desparate to hang on to the 3.5 million striker but Rob wants to move to a bigger club. This struggle appears to be affecting Rob's performances on the pitch slightly.

Season stats: 22 games, 9 goals, 3 assists, 2 MOM, 2 yellows, 6.95 rating

Richard Dixon, GK, Sunderland: Richard appears content to bide his time at Sunderland for now, particularly since he's just 21 years old. Impressively though, he's kept 3 clean sheets in 3 games for the reserves so far. Valued at 2.7 million.

K.N. Smith, M C, Sevilla: The 1 million rated midfielder starts on the substitutes' bench for Sevilla this year and hasn't made an appearance yet. Season is young though so he'll hope to get a chance to impress again this year.

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Preston: Tom moves for the 2nd time in 2 years as he joins Preston on a 525k move. Tom clearly believes that Preton gives him a better shot at reaching the Premiership than Bradford City. Impressive debut for Tom as he creates a goal and gets an 8 rating.

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: The Wigan keeper is in the middle of contract negotiations with Wigan at this time and is on a rolling contract. Wigan should be concerned because Torin looks like a very good keeper on paper (4 20s, 1 19, 1 17, 2 16s for his goalkeeping attributes) and another club may try to swoop in.

Well. I would have preferred the Hotspur over Chelsea. But there's nothing wrong with joining a successful EPL club.

End of Season 2012/2013:

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: The Czech international is one of the most expensive keepers in the world, valued at 14.75 million, even though he's just 21 years old. He also wins a Premiership medal with Arsenal this year, pipping Chelsea on goal difference and being part of the meanest defence for the year.

Season Stats: 33 games, 32 conceded, 14 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 1 yellow, 1 red, 6.94 rating
2011/2012 Premiership Winner
2011/2012 Premiership Young Player of the Year Runner-up (behind Jose Baxter, Everton midfielder)
Named as Premiership Young Player of the Month twice

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Chelsea: Goldrin was able to force his way out of the reserves into the main squad but was unable to get much playing time. The 11 million rated striker only played in 1 senior game all year long, appearing as a sub in a Champions League match.

Season Stats: 1 game (1 sub), 6.00 rating

Al Mighty, AM C, Triestina: Al featured on a regular basis for Triestina (16th in Serie A), appearing in 24 games in all competitions. Al was solid in Serie A with a 6.95 rating and he'll be pleased he left Empoli. valued at 9.5 million.

Season Stats: 24 games (2 sub), 2 goals, 1 assist, 1 MOM, 1 yellow, 6.91 rating

Will Brown, ST, Palermo: A serious hamstring injury derailed Will Brown's season, just as he was getting some regular playing time for Palermo. The injury happened in January 2012 and cost Will 3 months and he was unable to recover fitness in time to really challenge for a first team playing spot. Palermo were the champions of Serie B and will be back in Serie A next year. Valued at 9.5 milion.

Season Stats: 6 games (3 sub), 1 assist, 1 MOM, 1 yellow, 6.83 rating

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Sporting: This was a phenomenal individual season for Dayne as he won the Portugese League Best Player of the Year award, Best Defender of the Year award and Best Young Player of the Year award. This has resulted in Spurs, Parma and Barcelona taking very long hard looks at the 8.75 million defender. It was pity Sporting only came in 5th in the league though they did manage to win the Portugese Cup (Dayne's 2nd win in this competition).

Season Stats: 38 games, 1 goal, 11 assists, 9 MOM, 5 yellows, 7.50 rating
2012 Portugese League Player of the Year
2012 Portugese League Best Defender of the Year
2012 Portugese League Young Player of the Year
Named to 2012 Portugese League Team of the Year
2011/2012 Portugese Cup Winner

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: The 7 million Wigan keeper managed to wrest the starting position from Sebastian Viera, who is now unhappy at the club. Torin didn't play that well though as goals were leaked at an alarming pace (45 goals in 33 games), which contributed to Wigan's relegation from the Premiership (20th place).

Season Stats: 33 games, 45 conceded, 4 clean sheets, 5 yellows, 6.61 rating
Named to English Premier League Team of the Week once
Named as English Premier League Young Player of the Month once
European U-21 Championships runners-up

Anthony Lee, AM L, Rangers: Superb season for Anthony (7 million rated) as he wins a Scottish Premier League champions medal with Rangers. He was also recognised as the Scottish Premier League's Players' Player of the Year (voted by his peers) because of his ability to score and create goals for his teammates. Lazio are reportedly interested in signing Anthony Lee.

Season Stats: 40 games (2 sub), 13 goals, 15 assists, 10 MOM, 4 yellows, 1 red, 7.47 rating
2011/2012 Scottish Premier League winner
2012 Scottish Premier League Players' Player of the Year winner
Named to 2011/2012 Scottish Premier League Team of the Year
Scottish Premier League Player of the Month once

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM, M LC, Hannover: Schex was a regular in the first team this year and helped Hannover achieve 8th place in the German First Division. The 7 million rated Schex performed quite well all year round and showed a knack at creating goals from the left wing.

Season Stats: 35 games (2 sub), 1 goal, 6 assists, 8 yellows, 6.63 rating

Rob Nielsen, ST, Grasshopper: In a move out of spite, New England only allowed Rob to move to a lesser European side, Grasshopper, who play in the Swiss league. Not a classy ending to Rob's career at New England, who was Supporter's Player of the year for 3 years running (2009-2011).

Season Stats: (Grasshopper) 12 games, 5 goals, 3 assists, 7.50 rating
New England career stats (league only): 76 games, 35 goals, 5 assists, 11 MOM, 7.12 rating

Richard Dixon, GK, Sunderland: 4.9 million rated Richard Dixon was also part of the England U-21 team that were runners-up in the U-21 European championship. Richard was given some limited opportunities to play for Sunderland this year (8th place in the Premiership) and didn't disappoint in those appearances.

Season Stats: 13 games, 14 conceded, 3 clean sheets, 1 yellow, 6.92 rating
European U-21 Championship runners-up

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Toluca: Daniel may be scoring freely in the Mexican league but his value has dropped to 4.2 million, partly because the Mexican league simply isn't that popular. 26 goals in 40 games is a great return for the club though and Daniel is just out-classing everyone else in the league.

Season Stats: 40 games, 26 goals, 6 MOM, 13 yellows, 2 reds, 7.80 rating

Sean Treacy, DM, Celtic: Sean again comes in as a runner-up in the Scottish Premier League. Similar to last season, Sean was given opportunities near the tail end of the season but he didn't perform that well this year (6.09 rating in 11 games in the SPL). The 3.3 million rated midfielder will be wondering if next year is the chance for him to play more regularly.

Season Stats: 18 games (3 sub), 1 goal, 2 assists, 2 yellows, 6.44 rating

K.N. Smith, M C, Sevilla: In shocking news, Sevilla were relegated from Serie A this year (18th out of 20 teams). K.N. probably had a part to play in that as he appeared in 22 league games and didn't play that well, though he did create 3 goals. A number of clubs have already made bids for K.N.'s services as Sevilla are looking at a number of players departing during the off-season. Of particular interest are bids from Spurs, Newcastle and Bayern Munich.

Season Stats: 23 games (3 sub), 3 assists, 3 yellows, 6.26 rating

Jace Hunter, GK, Livorno: The 1.3 million rated goalkeeper was another young keeper given limited opportunities this year (17 games in all competitions) and he proved capable in those games. The Canadian international is reportedly getting frustrated at Livorno though and Brescia are deciding whether to make a formal bid for Jace's services. Livorno were 9th in Serie A this year.

Season Stats: 17 games (3 sub), 12 conceded, 8 clean sheets, 1 yellow, 6.82 rating

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Preston: The 525k midfielder lost his manager's confidence in him early on in the season and he was unable to regain a spot in the first team, though he did feature somewhat from the bench. Preston finished the season third in the Championship but were beaten 3-0 in the finals of the Playoffs by Portsmouth and failed to get promotion to the Premier League.

Season Stats: 21 games (13 sub), 2 goals, 4 assists, 2 yellows, 6.29 rating

Start of Season 2012/2013 Update (5 year recap included)

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Barcelona: Dayne started his career in Portugal with Vit Guimaraes but his steady performances at the back caught the eye of Sporting Lisbon and he eventually moved there. After a short stint at HSV, Dayne returned to Portugal a more complete player and proved that by winning just about every individual accolade possible before making a 33 million dollar move to Barcelona. Technically and mentally, Dayne has a lot of abilities expected of a top class defender but his weakness is in the physical aspect of the game, though his superb reading of the game means that he can cover up for his shortcomings most of the time. Capped by the Portugese U-21 team, he hasn't yet been called up by either the Portugal or Brazil full team yet.

Career Stats (league only): 123 games (4 sub), 3 goals, 15 assists, 12 MOM, 6.95 rating
Portugese Cup Winners' Medal
Portugese League Cup Winners' Medal

Anthony Lee, AM L, Sunderland: After dominating the English Championship and the Scottish Premier League, Anthony has made a 19.25 million dollar move to Sunderland where he seeks to prove that he can dominate at one of the top European leagues as well. After 4 years in the Championship with QPR, Anthony spent one season with Rangers where he was the best player in the Scottish Premier League and proved to be a very good offensive player. He's got excellent abilities for a winger but he'll never be strong in the air or a good defensive player. Only capped for the England U-19s thus far.

Career Stats (league only): 174 games (12 sub), 40 goals, 56 assists, 26 MOM, 7.17 rating
Scottish Premier League winner's medal

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: Czech international Qwikshot Norris (4 caps) currently plays for Premiership champions Arsenal and is valued at 18.75 million. Regarded as one of the best keepers in the world at a tender age of 21, there were some early doubts how he would turn out as he spent time at both Celtic and Aston Villa sitting on the bench. Turns out Arsene Wenger can spot goalkeeping talent after all as he Qwikshot has proven to be a bargain signing from Villa at 6 million. The commanding keeper has incredible stats for a goalkeeper; perhaps the only complaint that could be made is that he doesn't rush out that well but that's just finding fault really.

Career Stats (league only): 52 games, 58 conceded, 16 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 6.77 rating
English Premiership winners' medal
English League Cup winners' medal
English Community Shield winners' medal
First cap for Czech republic at age 20

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM, M LC, Bayern Munich: Schex has yet ot taste success in his 5 year career, partly because he has spent time in some of the smaller clubs in the Bundesliga (Kiel and Hannover). He has just moved to Bayern Munich on a 13.25 million transfer though and it may be time for him to start winning trophies. The versatile player clearly has talent but he is seldom able to put together a consistent enough run to be considered a top-echelon player yet but hopefully that will change soon for the 24 year old. Capped at the French U-21 level so far.

Career stats (league only): 120 games (12 sub), 6 goals, 15 assists, 6.39 rating

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Bayern Munich: Daniel realised he made a bad move moving to Mexico and quickly returned to Europe on a 12.75 million dollar move to Bayern Munich. Daniel started his career out slowly at Koln but, when given the chance, proved to be deadly in front of goal. He absolutely dominated in Mexico last season and will hope to have the same form when he plays in Germany again this year, a place he is accustomed to (4 out of 5 years were spent here). It's surprising that Daniel hasn't yet been capped at any level by the U.S.A but he's still young (24) and should win a cap sooner rather than later. Daniel is very good in front of goal but one complaint about him is that he doesn't bring much else besides finishing since he doesn't pass or defend very well. Still, Daniel has started his career at Bayern well, scoring in their 1-1 draw against Schalke in the German League Cup, which Bayern eventually won on penalties.

Career stats (league only): 81 games (6 sub), 47 goals, 13 MOM, 7.28 rating
German League Cup winners' medal

Al Mighty, AM C, Triestina: The 10.75 million rated Al Mighty is touted as one of the next generation of gifted Italian playmakers. He's a wonderful player to have on the ball when it comes to initiating the offence and is an adequate defender as well. The drawback for Al is that he hasn't played that many games thus far, particularly since his first club Empoli refused to play him regularly. Still, Al has found a new lease of life with Triestina and will be pushing hard for recognition in Serie A this year and perhaps with the Italian national team. Capped at the Italian U-21 level so far.

Career stats (league only): 36 games (11 sub), 2 goals, 2 assists, 1 MOM, 6.67 rating

Will Brown, ST, Palermo: The 2nd of the 3 young U.S. strikers that were much touted as the boys to bring glory to the US national side, Will has dominated at Serie C and Serie B with Ternana and AlbinoLeffe. This prompted Palermo to pay 9.5 million for his services last season but he found the going tough, in part because of a bad hamstring tear. Will returns this year with a vengeance and will be looking for regular playing time to prove his worth to the Palermo boss. Capped at the US U-21 level, the 10.75 million rated striker is still a relatively unknown quality outside of Italy.

Career Stats (league only): 75 games (3 sub), 41 goals, 11 assists, 7 MOM, 7.28 rating

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Chelsea: Goldrin was a star in Scotland from the young age of 19 when he was Kilmarnock's goal-den boy. Eventually though, the former England U-21 international decided it was time for a move to a bigger club and he eventually left for Chelsea. A dream move? Not quite so far as Goldrin proved unable to get any games for the first team in his first year at Chelsea and has started his second season in the reserves again. The explosive striker is looking forward to joining another side on loan but he hasn't yet given up on a career at Chelsea though and it's fair to say Chelsea hasn't given up on him yet either.

Career stats (league only): 120 games (5 sub), 53 goals, 7 assists, 19 MOM, 7.21 rating

Rob Nielsen, ST, Grasshopper: The 3rd of the 3 talented US strikers, Rob is perhaps the least successful of the lot so far. He's currently playing for Swiss side Grasshopper but Rob's career has started with drama already, with allegations that he can be a prima donna, particularly if he doesn't get what he wants. This arises in part because of the manner in which Rob forced his way out of New England last season but New England had the last laugh by transferring him to Grasshopper. Rob is clearly going to be a dominant force in this lesser league and he will hope to have the last laugh by finding a big side to come acquire his services. Another very skilled striker, the one complaint about Rob so far is that he can be lazy at times and sometimes finds it hard to last a whole game.

Career Stats (league only): 126 games (1 sub), 56 goals, 19 assists, 18 MOM, 7.22 rating
US Cup winners' medal
SuperLiga runners' up medal

Sean Treacy, DM, Werder Bremen: Sean is the poster boy for the US U-21 side, having made 26 appearances for them already, nearly as many as all of Sean's league appearances combined. Sean recently made a 6.75 million dollar switch from Celtic to Werder Bremen and he'll be hoping that his time at Werder Bremen works out better than his time in Scotland, where, fairly or unfairly, he often felt that he wasn't given enough opportunity to prove his worth. Sean has played relatively few games in his career thus far but, in the games he's played, he's shown that he's a very astute player in the middle of the field.

Career Stats (league only): 35 games (3 sub), 1 goal, 7 assists, 1 MOM, 6.49 rating

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: England U-21 keeper Torin Mayhem has been at Wigan 4 years now (starting the 5th this year), since his move from Hull, and he hasn't looked back. The 5.5 million rated keeper has bided his time and appears to have impressed his manager enough to earn the starting spot from Uruguyan international Sebastian Viera. The rumours are that the 2 keepers aren't talking to each other anymore and that'll be an interesting side story to Wigan's season. Another of the new breed of keepers that are exceptionally talented, there are absolutely no flaws in Torin's goalkeeping abilities.

Career Stats (league only): 45 games, 52 conceded, 11 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 6.71 rating
European U-21 Championship runners-up

Jace Hunter, GK, Brescia: Jace is one of the youngest players ever to be capped for Canada at age 18 and he has already played 24 times for the Canadian side, more than he has played in the Italian league. The 23 year old spent his first 5 years at Livorno but he steadily got disillusioned with his time there, starting with a contract dispute early on in his career then repeated disagreements over his lack of opportunity to play. This culminated in a free transfer this off-season to Brescia as Jace refused to re-sign for Livorno. The 5.25 million keeper, who is exceptionally talented in terms of goalkeeping skills, is looking to prove a point this year at his new club.

Career stats (league only): 23 games (2 sub), 24 conceded, 7 clean sheets, 6.57 rating

Richard Dixon, GK, Sunderland: Richard is commonly known as the "other" keeper. In his 2 years at Sunderland, Richard has had to play second fiddle to other more experienced keepers and, in the England U-21 setup, he is 2nd choice behind Torin Mayhem. Still, the 4.7 million rated keeper has time to prove his worth as he is only 22 years old and he is reportedly very very skilful as a keeper. Richard had started his career with Airdrie Utd in Scotland before making a move to Gillingham and finally to Sunderland.

Career stats (league only): 115 games (1 sub), 122 conceded, 32 clean sheets, 2 MOM, 6.56 rating
European U-21 Championship runners-up medal
Scottish Second Division winners medal

K.N. Smith, M C, FC Bayern: The well travelled 27 year old moves to his 5th club in 6 years as FC Bayern pay 1.3 million for his services. K.N. is designated as an important first team player for FC Bayern but, if his form holds true as in past seasons, K.N. will eventually disappoint. K.N. may have the abilities required of a good midfielder but, for some reason, he just doesn't play that well. Hopefully this move to a better side makes the difference for K.N., who has played for lesser sides so far in his career, including Eintracht Braunschweig, Furth, St Pauli and the recently relegated Sevilla.

Career Stats (league only): 121 games (7 sub), 11 goals, 23 assists, 1 MOM, 6.45 rating
German League Cup winners medal

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Preston: 525k rated Tom Kislingbury looks unlikely to ever be a star. Having already started his career late and now already 29 years old, Tom has never played topflight football and, unless things change significantly, we might not see much more of Tom. He has recently been relegated to the Preston reserve team and he must be missing the days when he was the boss of the Dundee midfield in the Scottish League.

Career stats (league only): 96 games (25 sub), 10 goals, 14 assists, 5 MOM, 6.35 rating

"The Other Keeper", love it, probably because it isn't me right now. I just want to see Torin stop more goals. He lets in a ton.

Rob Nielsen is NOT lazy.

Rob Nielsen merely likes to get to the post-game spread before his supporting cast. Some of you may call them 'teammates', Rob Nielsen refers to them as 'people who should be passing me the ball'.

End of Season 2013/2014:

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Barcelona: A successful first season for the 32 million rated defender as he wins 2 major trophies with Barcelona. While he didn't nail down a first team place, he did feature on a regular basis and turned in solid performances. Transfer drama may be on the horizon though as his favourite club, Arsenal, are reportedly interested in bringing him to England.

Season Stats: 29 games (7 sub), 2 goal, 4 assists, 3 MOM, 2 yellows, 7.24 rating
2013 Spanish First Division winner
2013 Euro Cup winner

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: Disappointing year for Qwikshot and the Gunners as they fail to defend their league title (coming in 2nd to Chelsea). The 31 million rated Czech international did manage to win a League Cup medal though, keeping a clean sheet in their 2-0 win over Everton.

Season Stats: 53 games, 49 conceded, 18 clean sheets, 8 yellows, 6.98 rating
2013 League Cup winner
Named as Young Player of the Month once

Rob Nielsen, ST, Celtic: "Who's laughing now?" That started one of the most controversial press conferences when Rob Nielsen moved to Celtic in the mid-season transfer window. A 10 minute rant ensued as Rob went on about what was wrong with New England and US soccer in general. The 20.5 million striker then went out to play well in the 2nd half of the year for Celtic (5th in the SPL) and won a Scottish Cup medal, scoring the 2nd of Celtic's goals in the 2-2 draw against Dundee Utd (Celtic eventually won on penalties).

Season Stats: 16 games, 9 goals, 1 assist, 1 MOM, 3 yellows, 7.06 rating
Grasshopper career stats (league only): 27 games, 18 goals, 6 assists, 2 MOM, 7.59 rating

2013 Scottish Cup winner
Winner of a Goal of the Month Award

Anthony Lee, AM L, Sunderland: Anthony proves that he can perform at every level as he was named as the English Players' Player of the Year as well as named to the English Players' Premier League Select. His performances helped propel Sunderland to 6th place and European competition next year. valued at 18.75 million

Season Stats: 30 games (2 sub), 6 goals, 8 assists, 3 MOM, 4 yellows, 7.33 rating
2013 English Players' Player of the Year
2013 English Players' Premier League Select

Sean Treacy, DM, Werder Bremen: Finally given the chance to strut his stuff, Sean proves how good he can be when he plays very well for his new club and helps them win both the German First Division title as well as the German Cup. It had been 4 years since Werder had won any trophies (2009 League Cup was the last) and this was a very good season for them. The 15 million rated midfielder has 12 20's for his stats btw, very impressive.

Season Stats: 41 games, 9 assists, 5 yellows, 1 red, 7.05 rating

Al Mighty, AM C, Triestina: Triestina performed slightly better this year, 14th position in Serie A, a 2 spot improvement. Al definitely had a part to play in that as he raised his performances and contributed more from midfield this year. The 13.75 million midfielder is travelling with the Italian squad and he'll hope to get a cap soon.

Season Stats: 27 games (2 sub), 5 goals, 3 assists, 1 MOM, 3 yellows, 7.07 rating
2013 Italian Serie A Young Player of the Year runners-up (losing to Bojan, Juve striker)

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Chelsea: Goldrin kept plugging away and was eventually rewarded with some limited playing time for the English Premiership champions. He proved again how deadly he can be in front of goal as he scored 7 goals in just 13 games. Unfortunately, the 11.75 million strike did not receive a Premiership winners' medal as he only made 9 appearances in the league (you need 10 to get a medal) but he did manage a FA Cup winners' medal as Chelsea complete the Double. Currently travelling with the England squad.

Season Stats: 13 games (3 sub), 7 goals, 7.31 rating
2013 FA Cup winner

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Bayern Munich: Not a great return to European football for Dan as he was only able to make 9 appearances for Bayern the whole year round, though he scored 7 goals in those games. Maybe if he had played more, Bayern might have won the league (they came in 2nd). Dan did win the German League Cup with Bayern though.

Season Stats: 9 games (3 sub), 7 goals , 1 MOM, 1 yellow, 7.44 rating
2013 League Cup winner

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM, M LC, Bayern Munich: Schex on the other hand was a mainstay in the Bayern squad and was a solid contributor. The 11.25 million Schex created 7 goals from the left wing but his disciplinary record is terrible.

Season Stats: 40 games, 1 goal, 7 assists, 7 yellows, 2 reds, 6.93 rating

Will Brown, ST, Palermo: The 21 year old striker just can't seem to impress his manager enough to get a place in the first team. It probably didn't help that he suffered a 2 month hip injury but he wasn't playing regularly even before that.

Season Stats: 2 games (2 sub), 1 goal, 7.00 rating

Jace Hunter, GK, Brescia: 7.5 million rated Jace Hunter finally gets to play more regularly with Brescia (9th in Serie A) where he was impressive between the sticks. He did split time with Olivier Sorin, a 32 year old French keeper, but he should get a lot more opportunities next year.

Season Stats: 25 games (1 sub), 23 conceded, 7 clean sheets, 3 yellows, 6.84 rating

K.N. Smith, M C, Bayern Munich: The transfer that had everyone talking this year belongs to K.N. Smith. The Swiss international (1 cap) only made 5 appearances all year round for Bayern (4 from the bench) but Real Madrid saw something they liked and were persuaded to fork out 19.25 million for K.N. He's off to Madrid where it'll be interesting to see what happens next.

Season Stats: 5 games (4 sub), 2 goals, 1 assist, 6.40 rating
2013 German League Cup winner

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: Torin was the regular keeper for Wigan most of the year and he helped them to 4th place in the Championship but they lost in the play-offs to Reading in the first round. Torin was sent off in the first leg and that may spell the end of his time at Wigan as he has publicly declared he needs to join a bigger club. Valued at 4.8 million, he would be a bargain for a side that needs a good young keeper.

Season Stats: 37 games (1 sub), 40 conceded, 12 clean sheets, 4 yellows, 6.78 rating
Named to English Premier League Team of the Week once
Named as English Premier League Young Player of the Month once
European U-21 Championships runners-up

Richard Dixon, GK, Sunderland: Richard managed to get the first team spot at the end of the year and he performed well enough to catch the eyes of the England manager. The 1.7 million rated keeper is travelling with the full England team right now to their World Cup qualifier but it seems unlikely he'll be capped.

Season Stats: 16 games, 23 conceded, 2 clean sheets, 2 yellows, 1 re, 6.88 rating

Tom Kislingbury, AM C, Preston: Tom's time at Preston will probably be up soon. The 29 year old was sent back to the reserves after playing in just 8 games for the first team and it looks almost certain that a parting of ways would be the best thing for Tom's career.

Season Stats: 8 games (3 sub), 1 assist, 2 yellows, 6.75 rating

There's a built in take screenshot button in the game. I'd just grab our main profile page and call it a day. If you need the images hosted somewhere, I can do that if you send me the shots.

Recap of the soccer world for 2007-2013:

World Cup 2010:
People predicted it would happen eventually but no one really expected it to happen so soon. However, in 2010, the first African nation ever to win the World Cup was the Ivory Coast as they beat England on penalties after extra time ended 1-1. Spain beat Holland 1-0 to come in 3rd.

Player of the tournament was Salomon Kalou (Ivory Coast), 2nd was Wayne Rooney and 3rd was Michael Owen (both England).

Golden Boot winner was Robin van Persie (6 goals, Holland).

European Championship 2012:
France won the European Championship in 2012 by beating England on penalties after extra time ended 0-0. Poor England have come close to 2 major trophies but faltered at the last hurdle. Ashley Cole missed penalties in both the World Cup and Euro Championship!

Player of the tournament was Philippe Mexes (France), 2nd was Jeremy Toulalan (France) and 3rd was Silva (Spain).

Golden Boot winner was Djibril Cisse (France, 4 goals).

Champions League:
In the past 7 years, Italian clubs have had a slight dominance in the Champions League, with Milan winning in 2007, Inter in 2008, 2010 and 2011. Real Madrid have won the trophy for the past 2 years though (2012, 2013). The sole English team winning the title in the past 7 years? Arsenal (2009).

Having said that, Spanish clubs have come close to dominating the past 7 years. The beaten finalists in 2009, 2010 and 2012 were Barcelona, while Real Madrid lost in 2011 (otherwise they would have won for 3 consecutive years), while the surprise finalist in 2013 was Zaragoza. If things had been slightly different, Spanish clubs would have won in 5 of the past 7 years.

Euro Cup:
It's a different story in the Euro Cup with Spanish teams winning 5 times in the past 7 years (Sevilla twice in 2007 and 2009, Atletico Madrid in 2008, Zaragoza in 2010 and Barcelona in 2013). Milan was the only other club that won the trophy in this span (back to back in 2011 and 2012).

English Premier League:
The Big 4 of English soccer continue to dominate as they have won the past 7 titles between them. The last time a club outside of the Big 4 won the title was in 1995 (Blackburn). Man Utd won 3 titles (2007, 2009, 2011), Chelsea won 2 (2008, 2013), and Arsenal (2012) and Liverpool (2010) won one each. The only time a non Big 4 side came in the top 3? That would be 2012 when Newcastle came in 3rd.

Financially, Arsenal are worth 870 million and a distant 2nd is Man Utd (368 million). Chelsea are at 344 million, Spurs at 207 million and Liverpool at 205 million.

English FA Cup:
The FA Cup has been a more mixed bag of results. The winners have been Chelsea (2007 and 2013), Wigan (2008), Birmingham (2009), Bolton (2010), Blackburn (2011) and Liverpool (2012).

English League Cup:
The Big 4 are largely dominant in the League Cup as well. Man Utd (2008, 2009), Chelsea (2007), Liverpool (2010, 2011) and Arsenal (2013) won 6 of 7 cups. Newcastle managed to win the 2012 title though, also the year they came in 3rd in the League.

German Bundesliga:
No clearly dominant side in the German First Division in the past 7 years as the title has been won by 5 different sides. Stuttgart (2007), Werder Bremen (2008, 2013), Dortmund (2009, 2010), Schalke (2011) and Bayern Munich (2012) were the past winners. The better sides are probably Bayern (top 3 in 5 of the 7 years) and Werder Bremen though (top 3 in 6 of the 7 years).

Bayern are the richest club at 123 million, HSV at 109 million, Schalke at 100 million, Koln at 85 million and Hannover at 84 million.

Italian Serie A:
Inter were dominant in 2007 to 2009 (3 titles) but that stranglehold was broken by AC Milan in 2010. Juventus (2011) and Roma (2012) won the next 2 titles before AC Milan won again in 2013. Since their early run, Inter have fallen somewhat, only coming into the top 3 one more time in 2012. A surprise team that has been challenging in recent years is Sampdoria, who were a top 3 team between 2009 to 2011.

Juventus are worth 400 million, AC Milan 257 million, Roma 180 million, Lazio at 159 million and Inter at 124 million.

Spanish First Division:
There is only one club you need to know about in Spanish football and that's Real Madrid. They won 6 consecutive titles (2007 - 2012) before Barcelona finally broke this stretch in 2013. Barcelona were also runners up in 4 of those 6 years. Zaragoza have built up quite a decent side, appearing in the top 3 in 2008, 2012 and 2013. Other sides briefly challenged but were not really able to sustain their performances for multiple seasons and it looks like there is a growing gulf between Real, Barcelona and Zaragoza from the other sides in the First Division.

Barcelona are valued at 962 million, Real at 537 million, Valencia at 211 million, Atletico Madrid at 142 million and Athletic and Betis both at 82 million.

Start of Season 2013/2014:

Anthony Lee, AM L, Tottenham: Spurs pay 44 million for Anthony Lee's services and the winger was gushing at the press conference when the transfer was announced since Spurs was his boyhood club. Spurs have just bought themselves a real danger on the wing and they'll be hoping this allows them to challenge the big 4 this year.

Qwikshot Norris, GK, Arsenal: Qwikshot is the no.1 at Arsenal and he was rewarded with a 160k per week contract at the start of the season. He'll be looking forward to the new season and wanting to win the title again after last season's 2nd place finish to Chelsea.

Charles Schexnader, D/WB L, DM, M LC, Arsenal: And look who comes along to help Qwikshot in his quest! Schex was going to be the starting leftback for Arsenal but suffered a sprained ankle and will be out for 3 weeks. Arsenal had paid $25 million for Schex' services.

Dayne Ho, SW/D C, Barcelona: Dayne remains at Barcelona although Arsenal have made some queries about his availability already. The 25 million rated defender has started the season very well so far (7.50 rating, 2 MOMs in 4 games).

Daniel Ertmann, ST, Benfica: Dan packs his bags and moves to Benfica this year as he realised his old manager wasn't going to give him a real chance again. Benfica paid 24.5 million for Dan's services and he's repaid them with a blistering start (4 goals in 3 games!).

Rob Nielsen, ST, Celtic: The 20.5 million rated Rob Nielsen starts his first full season at Celtic where he'll be looking forward to destroying the opposition. 2 goals in 3 games is a good start to the year.

Sean Treacy, DM, Werder Bremen: Sean is helping Werder Bremen defend its title this year, which might be a challenge since Werder just doesn't do as well financially as the other German sides. They've started the season poorly though (13th place) but Sean has played well for them (7.00 rating).

K.N. Smith, MC, Real Madrid: 19.25 million rated K.N. Smith started 3 games for Real but just played terribly (5.67 rating) and may be facing an extended time on the bench if he's not careful.

Goldrin Goldberg, ST, Newcastle: Goldrin finally left Chelsea when Newcastle paid 19 million for his services. Goldrin will be hoping to follow in the path of former Newcastle greats like Alan Shearer and Michael Owen and has started his career here with 1 goal in 2 starts.

Al Mighty, AMC, Triestina: Al is a favourite here at Triestina and is valued at 12.75 million. The suspicion is that he will leave at some point in time but, for now, he's happy to be a key part of the midfield here.

Jace Hunter, GK, Brescia: Brescia are in 3rd place in Serie A early in the season and that has a lot to do with Jace Hunter, who has played very very well in 2 games (7.50 rating). If he can keep it up, Brescia may be a surprise package this year.

Will Brown, ST, Palermo: This may be the year Will gets a chance to start for Palermo as he is given 2 starts early on (7.00 rating). The 5.25. million striker has been waiting for this opportunity for 2 years now and will be looking forward to proving his worth.

Torin Mayhem, GK, Wigan: Torin remains at Wigan but he continues to remain unhappy at being there. He has started the season quite well (3 conceded in 4 games) but it'll be hard for him to remain focused if he remains dissatisfied.

Richard Dixon, GK, Middlesborough: Richard was tired of playing second fiddle at Sunderland and accepted a move to Middlesborough (3.4 million). He's the number 1 keeper at the Riverside but he's let in 6 goals in his first 4 games.

Tom Kislingbury, AMC, Preston: Tom's future remains unclear at Preston. He makes 2 substitute appearances for them but plays terribly (5.00 rating) and it's a real question whether he'll be given much playing time this year.

Yeah it's still going, just been busy the past week with work! Thanks for the post though.

And no, Aaron Lennon left in 2012/2013 for Valencia (29.5 million fee).

You are the record Spurs signing though at 44 million, no pressure now.

Anthony Lee had a good first season with Spurs, though they only managed 7th place in the League. Anthony's contributions were slightly less impressive compared to last season but he still managed to be named to the English Premier League Select as well as coming in 3rd placed in the English Players' Player of the Year award (Fernando Torres won the award).

Spurs also lost in the League Cup finals to Arsenal (2-0), though Anthony played very well in that game (best player for Spurs with a 8 rating). Disappointingly, Anthony still hasn't been capped for England yet.

Qwikshot played a lot of games for Arsenal this year but he missed out on their League Cup win over arch-rivals Spurs. Qwikshot's performances were good but it'll be somewhat disappointing to him that he didn't win anything this year, both in terms of team and individual accolades. Arsenal came in 6th in the Premier League, which was another disappointment.

Dayne played better for Barcelona this year compared to last season as he got used to the higher standard of play in the Spanish League. Having said that, it was a season without a major tropy for the Catalans as they came in 4th in the League and only won 2 minor cups (European Supercup and Spanish Super Cup). On a personal level though, Dayne was named to the Spanish First Division Team of the Year.

Schex won the League Cup with Arsenal this year, though he was substituted in the 68th minute with a 7 rating. Schex got used to the physical English game quickly and seemed to enjoy it more than the German league as his performances improved slightly this year. The 26 year old was named to the English Premier League team of the week twice this year.

Sean helps Werder Bremen defend its German First Division title this year. Sean's performances dipped slightly from last season's though but that could be explained by the fact that he tore his groin muscle in November and was out for a month and he had to take some time to recover his form.

Goldrin waas phenomenal in his first full season as a starter in the English Premier League and also proved himself on the international level (7 goals in 8 games!). Finally given the opportunity to start, GG was able to show the soccer fraternity what he could do when given the chance as he fired Newcastle to 3rd place in the English Premier League.

K.N. Smith managed to play in 22 games for Real this year but he was clearly out of his league as he really struggled to make an impact. This was a transfer that confused many when it happened and, at least based on this season's performances, will remain confusing for a while more. Having said that, K.N. won a Club World Championship medal, a Spanish First Division champions title and a runners-up medal in the Euro Cup.

Dan was another striker that had something to prove this year after last season's disappointing spell with Benfica and he did so spectacularly. 23 goals in 38 games for Benfica ensured that the fans love him, particularly since he helped Benfica defend their league title.

Dan was named player of the month 3 times, was named to the team of the week 3 times, was the runner-up in the top goalscorer award as well as the most man of the match award. All in all, a good year for Dan.

For Jace, it was a drop-off in performance from last year as he let in 43 goals. This contributed to Brescia's 15th place in Serie A. There were few bright spot for Jace this year besides the fact that he remains the Brescia and Canadian first choice keeper.

Will was finally given the chance to start for Palermo in Serie B and he showed what he was capable of, propelling Palermo back to Serie A as he scored 16 of their 65 league goals. Will was named to the Serie B team of the week 3 times and he'll be hoping that he isn't relegated to the bench again next season.

Richard was another keeper that struggled this year with a midtable club (11th place this year). Letting in 55 goals in 40 games is not a good thing and he'll want to improve on that record if he's to have a chance at being called up to the England squad.

Rob Nielsen wins another Scottish Cup this year with Celtic but they again fell short in the League, coming in 2nd to arch-rivals Glasgow Rangers. It's been 5 years since Celtic won the title and the fans are getting impatient. They do like Rob though, who was named as the Football Writers' Player of the Year and was also named to the Team of the Year. He also managed a Goal of the Month award.

Torin remains unhappy at Wigan and it remains a real question how much longer he'll stay at the club. The manager will be hoping that the fact Wigan got promoted back to the Premiership will help relieve some of that unhappiness but this could be the off-season Torin leaves the club.

Al is done at Triestina as he signed a pre-contract offer with Genoa (7th in Serie A). Just in time too as Triestina was relegated this year (19th place). Fairly or unfairly, some blame was placed on Al's feet for the relegation as there were accusations he wasn't focused this year because of the contract issues. The slight dip in performance may be an indication that there is some truth in these allegations but football is ultimately a team game.
