For some reason, Lathum locked onto the fact that I had voted for him -- it seemed like an obvious move at the time, based on information received -- and then claimed that my lack of action since then made me suspicious. Of course, I hadn't seen anything to suggest that my vote should be changed, which is the reason for that.

Yes, and I doubt they will until after it has left their possession. That would be the time to let us know what they have viewed.

Somebody wanna loan me some silver so the wolves don't eat me?

Well, it's that time of day again. Time for softball. My team plays first, then I get to go coach the student team...which consists of me sitting in the dugout and yelling at our pitchers, hitters, and fielders. And the umpire.

Good luck. We have the semi-finals tonight against a good team. I was lucky enough to hit a grand slam last night, but it was in a rout (24-8). It's all about the bat... changed bats, boom home run.

The wolves are being quiet just waiting for this to go down.

That being said I now know Fouts and Mr. Wednesday are villegars.

I am not trying to confuse anyone I am just trying to get as much information for you guys before you mistakenly lynch me.

And now Lathum is grasping at straws pointing at me. Let's see you vote fouts after he outs you, then you unvote him and tell us all to vote Mr. Wednesday. Once he unvotes you, you then change to me. This just adds to my being more sure of my faith in Fouts and going with him on the vote.

This will all bear out soon. If Lathum is a wolf, then we will take all this last-minute stuff as bullshit. If he is a villager, then we can go through the thread and look at the people he is accusing (and Fouts, of course).

just doing the same as you, but the rope is getting tighter around your neck wolf. It will play out soon enough. You are trying real hard to deflect all the attention from yourself, but you accused Mr. Wednesday. Not that I am accusing him, but why all the sudden are you turning away from that? If it smells like a fish.....

you know what is funny, usually my big mouth gets me lynched. This time if I was online earlier to defend myself and say I had the mask I may have been able to slow down the bandwagon.

Out of curiosity, how long do you generally last in these games? It seems like your average life-span is much shorter than it should be, and I'm not sure why. Unlucky I guess...

I'm just posting what I viewed. If you had the mask, then the wolves are rejoicing because both of us are goners. I just think the odds that you had the mask are way too slim.

Hmm, I just read this -
Quote:
6) activation - Anyone who chose to activate their item in the night has the effects of that item resolved, if they are still alive and they still own the item. Activations happen in this order: general activation of most items (including sword), items are purchased, items are stolen, players die if they have been wounded/poisoned and not healed.

So, now why would you chose to activate the mask if you weren't a wolf?

Well, lets see

the first gamee I was the first one lynched- bad luck

second game I was a wolf and made it pretty far, I belive the wolves actually won

third game- I outed a wolf early and paid the price

this game- VERY, VERY bad luck I had the mask.

I prefer to be active in the game which usually puts a target on you. You would think by now people have figured it out. I just don't see a point in just sitting back and not playing the game. I prefer to mix it up and if I get whacked early at least I made things interesting.

That being said, have I mentioned I an a villegar?

If Lathum had the mask, he did not have the choice of whether or not to use it.

I already told you, I didn't CHOSE to activate it. It was activated when you looked at me with the amulet.

Jesus, you want to be right so bad and I think you are starting to realize you are wrong and it is going to cost us 2 villegars.

Can we at least get peregrine to confirm items can be activated without the owner choosing to activate it.

You do play an active game, and I think that is the most fun way to go. Sadly, it does put a target on your back.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. So, we have to believe there are a ton of items and two people got the same one, then I unluckily picked one of the guys with a mask. Unfortunately, I'm not taking statistics until next month, or I'd post the probability of that happening. It seems a bit farfectched though.

Screw this. I had doubts about Fouts anyhow. I'm switching back to my original vote yesterday:

Unvote Lathum
Vote Fouts

Not to mention the fact that Fouts voted for me yesterday based solely on the fact that he hates the Raiders and Randy Moss. Don't be jealous of the Silver'n'Black.

I really don't have any idea whose telling the truth and who is not and it's still a crapshoot as to who the werewolves are and are not.

I'll go with majority for the time being.

This should be an interesting lynching. If Lathum is a wolf he has not done a good job of defending himself.

If he turns out to be a villager he leaves with many questions, including who to lynch next. He claims he has the mask, but we will not know for sure.

Futile though it may be, I'm going to stick with my vote from yesterday.

Vote SnDvls

I wouldn't read a whole lot into somebody playing an active game; I was reasonably active in X and didn't get picked up as mafia until I was outed. I think it's possible to pull off.

Before I reveal the total, I received two requests before the deadline (while I was sleeping.)

The Ring of Wisdom has spoken, casting a vote for digamma!

The Ring of Vision has also spoken, casting a vote for Fouts!

Final voting:

Lathum - Fouts, RealDeal, BrianD, Mr. Wednesday, Eaglesfan, Coffee Warlord, Vince, Hoopsguy, digamma, ardent, SnDvls, henry296, dubb93, MrBug708, Schmidty

Fouts - Superman, Raiders Army, Lathum, Ring of Vision

Sndvls - Lathum, Mr. Wednesday

digamma - Ring of Wisdom

The voting is very quick today, as Fouts revelation about Lathum happens early and most people believe him. He gets the vast majority of votes, though some people are still unsure about Fouts and his accusation. In the end, Lathum is lynched, and he was an innocent villager.

Lathum possessed the Tablet of Tales which is now lost! He also possessed 1 silver piece, which ended up in the pocket of dubb93. (People aren't going to leave silver lying around, I will assign it to a random person after a lynch death.)

Night 2

Lathum - Lynched Day 2 - villager

Night actions due in by midnight, remember to let me know if you're passing or using an item, and to/on who, and also if you want to buy an item, as some people have enough silver now to buy one of the cheaper items.

Well crap. For some reason, I'm terribly suspicious of SnDvls now...but I have no substantial reason for the suspicion. I'll have to re-read things to get a grip on the situation.

Now back to strategy, I can assure you guys that I passed 1 mask to Ardent, what he does with it now I have no clue.

I assume that fouts was telling the truth(really don't know, but if Lathum was telling the truth about the mask then fouts was also) and now I'm back to square one.
