For Reference: 8.3 Stats Baselines

The CCFL, GML, and IHOF have completed 24 seasons combined with 8.3, (5 CCFL, 14 GML, 5 IHOF). As a reminder, statistical output was lowered significantly, particularly in the passing game. Here are the averages from those three leagues with 8.3. These can be quite useful for evaluating your players' effectiveness:

RUSH YPC: 4.25
PASS YPA/YPT: 6.32
PASS YPC: 10.83
CMP PCT: 58.38
INT PCT: 2.56
QB RTG: 78.64
YAC/CTC: 4.13
FG PCT: 83.74
RUN SUCCESS PCT: 38.53
PASS SUCCESS PCT: 41.22

Pretty low completion average if we compare it with NFL stamdards. NFL Football Player Stats & Stats Leaders - Completion Percentage

We will have to work in easier passes for pur QBs!

Yes, that's right.

I suspect the pass/run ratio on 1st and 2nd down being heavily in favor of pass compared to NFL.

More passes, easier prediction for defense, lower completion.

Version 8.3 of FOF has the passing game nerfed (Jim's attempt to address issues with those GMs in multi-player leagues that felt compelled to deploy an all-pass offense). However, we now have a game that models the 1995 NFL extremely effectively. Pre 8.3 was a better stat engine for the current NFL, but the typical league stats were still below current NFL norms.

Yes.

Ben, are you able to extract run to pass ratio as well?
