Football Pro 95...on Windows 7?
Heys...
So I recently picked up a Windows 7 laptop, and as I was digging through all of my old programs I noticed my FBpro 95 disc. I tried to install it and was given an error message saying that the program was incompatible with a 64 bit version of windows. I know that there's something called "Windows XP Compatibility Mode" available for Win7, but I'd have to upgrade to the professional version of 7 and I don't want to pay for that only to find out it may not work. Any ideas on what I can do?

I was in an online league that ran Sierra BBPro98. I tried for a couple of weeks to get it to run even on Windows XP and couldn't in compatibility mode, with every patch, etc. We ended up having to run it on an old laptop on Win98.
There's always the option of having a small partition on your hard drive with Win98 or something like that, but I'm not sure it's worth it for what you're trying to do. SI

FBPro 95 probably still ran in DOS mode. Have you tried DOSBox?

Shaqfu, that's correct it is a DOS based program. I've never heard of DOSBox...I'll look into it.

DosBox is wonderful, I still use it to play X-Com games.
