This has me rather excited! Also, I didn't know Walton Goggins was going to be on the show, even more excited!

Glover released a rap album this week. It's weird but I'm not much of a rap fan anyway.

The amazing and exciting truth is that Community has steered out of the skid, against all odds. If this strong start is anything to go by, the show is going to produce an interesting, challenging, and hilarious batch of episodes for its fifth season. That’s reason enough to rejoice for now.

SO!! EXCITED!!!!

First two episodes were very underwhelming. I can't remember laughing a single time.

The first episode was awful. That new professor is just a mean spirited character.

I had the exact opposite reaction. Loved the first two eps and like the new teacher.

I'm with MikeVic … I laughed more during these two episodes than I did all of last season combined. Love the "repilot" discussion and then having Zach Braff do a voiceover at the end. Still some loose plot holes, but overall I'm happy with the relaunch.

I liked the first two episodes, though wouldn't say I loved them. New teacher was funny at first, but his schtick got tiresome pretty quickly for me.

How did anyone not like Jonathan Banks (new professor)? I can understand other concerns, but not that one (tiresome schtick is a valid concern about the character too, though).

I liked the rebooting of the show and thought it was definitely amusing.

So I started re-watching the first few eps of Community recently to introduce the show to my girlfriend (who loves it so far, yes!!), and I was intrigued by the Britta-Jeff dynamic. Early on, Britta was seemingly put forward as a strong counter-weight to Jeff's couldn't care less personality. It is fascinating to know what Britta is now and compare it to how she was presented early on (In addition, it is slightly annoying to her my gf cheer when Britta puts Jeff in his place sometimes, knowing what happens to both characters - yes, I love me some Jeff, though not as much as the Dean does, so I tell myself).

Bah

Not watching Breaking Bad had nothing to do with taste, the content just didn't interest me.

Now THAT was a Community episode! This is what I missed when Harmon was gone - the fantastic send ups of other TV genres.

So, I though the Meowmeowbeanz episode was one of the best episodes in a long time.

Several days later and I'm still not sure what to think. I didn't laugh at all but I was fascinated the entire episode at such an original idea.

It will be interesting to see how this show is viewed 10 years after its run ends.

At least they got another Harmon season in. This last season was pretty good and helped erase the awful memories of Season 4.

It's so cult though, you wonder if another avenue would pick it up. Though I imagine a lot of the cast is probably ready to get off the rollercoaster.

Honestly....im glad. I thought the last season really suffered from Harmon not being able to move past his anger. The show just stopped being about characters and became about wacky ways he could reference being canned. I honestly would rather his focus be Rick and Morty at this point.

This is probably the least disappointed I've been when a show I really like has been cancelled. I don't know what it was ... I don't know if it was the writer reshuffling, the cast changes, lack of ideas or what, but the show wasn't as sharp as the first three seasons. Season four was an abortion, so I am glad they got a fifth season to cleanse the pallet and go out on a high note.

It's not a super expensive show, and I think Allison Brie is probably the only one with a lot of other options on her plate. Maybe they could Netflix, FX TBS or USA it for another season or two, but I think it's best the show goes out the way it did.

I read that Netflix already said they cant legally do it anyway, not that they said they wanted to. Honestly I think the show needs to stay dead...and I really like the first three seasons.

I'm going to predict that Joel McHale gets CBS late night spot from Ferguson.

She hasn't done much. Donald Glover and Ken Jeong seem like they have created more chances outside of the show than she has.

Shes done films and has Mad Men still airing. Shell be fine, possibly do the best. Glovers got his own show coming eventually though which might be good.

Mad Men is in its final season. Anything else she's done doesn't seem to have done much although I don't think she's been the focal point in much either.

Doing Mad Men episodes during Community hiatus has probably kept her from a lot of marquee roles. She's done quite a bit, it's just that everything outside of Community and Mad Men has been quirky or bad. But she did the Lego Movie and has a Will Ferrell movie next year along with a few others. If she wants to do TV, I'd put her in just about anything. She's a hotter Courtney Cox.

Still somewhat ambivalent about the sixth season. Not sure how much license Yahoo will give them. The first three seasons were fantastic, but I think we might have tapped out Dan Harman. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Wonder what this does to McHale's odds to land the Late Late Show now.

Anyone else checking out Community on Yahoo Screen? So far, so good I say. My only quibble is that I feel they have leaned too much on Paget Brewster in the first few episodes and not enough on the core cast.

The show feels more grounded than the past couple of seasons, which I feel is a good thing. It was almost getting to zany. The last three seasons all seemed like the attitude was this was the end of the line, so anything goes. Seems like they actually are approaching this that it's not the end.

I have nowhere else to share this, so I'll put it here. After watching this week's episode, I took a nap and had a rather erotic dream involving Allison Brie, Gillian Jacobs and Paget Brewster. OMG. That's all I have to say.

If that was the series finale, it was fucking brilliant (also f-bombs on Community... that was interesting). I have been wondering if Harmon had been going to the meta well too much, but as the season progressed it kinda went back to the Season 1 focus of how does this group of seeming TV trope characters interact with each other and grow as people and the more it did that, while doing the weird conceptual stuff at times, it really shined. The season turned out to be really good and the finale. Wow... never thought I'd cry during a Community episode and then that last dark and utterly hilarious tag.

(also the fart during the 4th Cool... LOL)
