I looked over the team_info file and it looked as if the stadiums were set up right. Yet as I play I see issues as it shows teams with the wrong configurations, i.e. Saints show outdoor temps, others in Domes when they shouldn't be. Have to do some more digging.

Added a second set of logos this time with team colored backgrounds instead of the black/gray from the game. Personally I think it looks better.

A note regarding changing logos. In game when you do it make sure you check the 3 boxes on that screen; Do not modify image, Do not replace white pixels, do not replace black pixels.

Yes I found out that just today!

I know for the team we control, you can load up a new logo via top bar team menu --> TEAM LOGO.

Is there a similar screen the player can access for all the AI teams, or is it only changeable for the teams we don't control by just replacing the generic logo in the LOGOS folder ?

Yes for the AI teams. When you are looking at your teams logos, just cycle through the teams on the dropdown and update all of them.

Tweaked the field file for the in-game play. To small to really make any difference but I couldn't pass it up. It's has been posted.

I have also been trying to rework the scoreboard number, timeout and ball displays and damn, I can't figure it out, yet! I was able to do it in FOF8 and there has to be a way.

Having a lot of trouble with making my own logos. Is there a particular format (besides .bmp) that it has to be. A specific dpi? A specific .bmp format?

I don't know the technical answer specifically, except I believe a 24-bit BMP ...

I got burned on this, as the facepack I made were all 150 x 150 BMPs, but apparently not the correct format until I ran them all through a batch convert program and saved as a "Windows BMP" and it worked out OK.

I put a few helmet logos in, but they are kind of dim looking, not bright as I think they should be. I sure the setting is the problem. What am I doing wrong?

Nope, Jim like bmp files. I have been saving them as both 24 or 32 dpi with no issue. The desaturated, black and white, versions save as an 8 dpi.

Out of GIMP, they don't work. But, I ran them through IrfanView and they work fine.

I loaded your fictional logos for all teams in a test league and it makes a big difference in immersion... they look good!

Is there any chance you've got any fictional league logos in the works/that already existed from past versions of the game that you may upload?

I'm scouring the internet to try to find some suitable logos for the international USA/Canada/UK league I plan to eventually run with, but figured no sense in trying to reinvent the wheel if better stuff is coming or available...

I tried to use the attachment program in this thread to upload a screenshot and it would not upload. It said upload failed. I used the snipping tool. There is no paper clip icon.

I actually have the 70's logos done. Was trying to get the stadium set t owork in the info file before I posted the universe. I may just post it for grins.

I moved away from helmets because in order to get the "sliver" to show well the helmet has to be small in the 150x150 file. Just didn't look right.

I plan on running all the logos from 70 thru 23 at some point.

Is there anywhere that explains how to get fictional/generated players Universe IDs in bulk? For example, once new draft classes are added in, is there away to assign fictional pics? I'm thinking of generating a bunch of fake player images using AI tools but not sure how to use them in game other than maybe looking up every players universe ID one at a time.

Others will be able to give you the exact detail but as I understand it you could verify the start and ending ID numbers in a universe players file then just assign that series of numbers to your pics. From what I understand that would then align that saved file and should pull from it when you open that universe.

Right that makes sense, for a league started in 2023 I imagine I could create images for IDs after the end of the current 2023_rosters.csv.

That would work for randomly assigning fictional pics. Hopefully there will be some way to create and/or export draft classes. That would make matching images to positions for better matching.

Funny I was just thinking about this...I assume that you have created roster pics for all active players for FOF8 in the past versions. How did you handle it when the new draft class was made? And, another assumption is that I guess if the players photos file wasn't updated for drafting, what did the program use for portraits in that case.

I am really, really new to customization here so accept my apologies if this is a dumb question.

FOF9 is the first version to have individual player portraits. In past games the player cards would just display the team logo graphic.

You can change Conferences but not the but not the Divisions so it’s not taking all the changes on that screen.

Not sure how to state this more clearly. It changed the division names. They no longer are AC E, AC W, etc. They're AFC E, AFC W, etc. It's a truncation of your changes.

Yes now, any way to untruncate it so the entire Divison name is showing also instead of just an E, W, N or S?
