I bought NFL 2k5 used today for $3. FFS this is so much better than any Madden game I've ever played and it's not even remotely close. Ridiculous.

You should hate yourself for thinking it was a good idea to use them for Fantasy Football in the first place.

I have not bothered with anything from EA in many years now. I gave up on their sports games when I realized that all they really did was update rosters and sell the same game.

Pity that a day later I have to completely give up on NFL 2k5 because I can't play a complete game without it freezing. FML |

Equally unplayable in my mind. I wasn't aware of the freezing frequency when I made the first comment. Madden (and most EAS games) has always been unplayable because of AI cheating (12+ fumbles in some games, miracle hail marys way too often, ridiculous strings of broken tackles when the cpu needs a big play, etc.). NFL 2k5 was, to that point, leagues better (none of that plus way more fun gameplay and presentation even on a 4 year old game). Unfortunately, then the freezing bug popped up and I have to take back the comment. I swear I'm cursed with console football games. I'm doomed to never enjoy one even though I want to so badly. |

I was thinking about trying madden again since I havent played since 04/05...I loathe giving EA money but this way I indirectly give EA money. It makes me feel slighty better. hxxps://subs.timeinc.net/SI/si_madden09.jhtml?experience_id=240532&source_id=1&_requestid=412629&_requestid=412629 |

what is not to get?
their games are still crappy & I though about trying out Madden 10, to prove they still suck. To justify buying it, I would buy it through somebody other then EA. It was just an outloud thought. If you would like from now on I could post a detailed diagram of my thoughts with my posts. Do all windows computers come with MSPaint? |

Ok, let's do a quick recap so we can get up to speed here. Saul Badde said he didn't like EA games anymore. Most of us agreed with him. He then proceeds to tell us that he might buy an old version of Madden. This makes no real sense as he started a thread about not liking EA games. I then made a reference to this quick turnaround in opinion by goofing on his screen name. Pumpy obviously got it. Are we all up to speed now? Good. I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread. |

With that said, how does MSPaint fit into all this? EA Sports doesn't make that, huh?
