There were cold drakes in there. They had some boosted damage due to cold, but you have Prot. Cold so it should be an easy fight. Other than the cold, they just had some unimpressive melee.

NTN, I'm in the unlabeled red square north of your room on my map. It's pretty uninteresting. Fought a spirit that wasn't a challenge for me. Required zero of my health pots. Gave less XP than some of the other rooms I've been in recently. Dropped no gear. Does have an outlet to level 4 and then other level 3 rooms.

based on the crude map i have.. and solely off memory ntndeacon.. if you head left you'll hit the room i fought the necromaster/5 zombies in..

Right is unknown to me..

Right is more XP than left. Right would put him in the room I'm in. The Necromaster room is the worst XP level 3 room I've been in so far. I assume that would probably change if you could kill the damn necromaster when he goes to bail...and I think NTN gets an extra wack at it than we do.

It's a fairly crappy slapped together quickly map.. and hopefully someone can take this information and apply it to a better map.. but its what i have.

I went from the necromaster room.. to the room labelled vortex.. so by looking back at your map.. i'm guessing the vortex moves like we do.. once a day.. and that the room is the efreet room..

Yea, it has to move then. I fought the efreet there and Zinto was following me and he was killed by the efreet there. Quite frankly I SHOULD have probably been killed by that efreet. You may have lucked out in not having to fight it. 78 damage in the first three turns before it reverted to melee was absolutely insane.

I can't stress this enough. If anyone is following my map, even loosely. You should not go to the efreet room.

Well.. i'll draw out a new map tomorrow with the teleported vortex section.. i'm fairly sure noone has been in any of the rooms i saw there.. although i did assume you'd go to level 4 after necromaster dubb..

Jag, i'd love that +2 chainmail.. only tradeable item i have though is the +2 gladius of ambushing.. its equal value if you was just looking for a saleable item.. i do have a scroll of it

Is that where you went? My HP hasn't been stable enough to this point to venture there. I'm most likely heading there tomorrow now that I have a stash of pots. I'm still a bit worried about getting gibbed there (I had to use 2 health pots on Necromaster). This last fight is the first fight in a while I haven't had to use a health pot and with the stash I have I'm probably heading that way. I think your gear could be a bit better than mine. I'm still with my starting wep and a crapty +1 chainmail. I do have endless bundles or herbs and another piece of gear that gives me +1 armor I think.

Yes Drakes. Maybe we find shiny things to trade Dew the Paladin for magic Gladius [/crosses claws for luck] or better armor for Gorm.

Znarled found a potion too, drink it and you're good for meals for 5 days. Gorm's potions sound very interesting, especially the rooms around/stuff in rooms part. Gorm The Inflammable . . . nice ring to it. Good look for hero trow to scare enemies. Also glad I'm not all black and didn't lose nice soft fur

That was one of my first options, but I took tiny wings instead. So far it's been the right call, saved me a couple times and haven't fought anything that used fire.
