any current or former history or "media studies" students around ?
or guys even working in those fields in some capacity ?
Have just started studying both (there´s basically only double majors in germany nowadays) after 7 years of training and working in libraries. Just didn´t fit anymore with a crappy boss, me being ways away from family and basically being a dead end. Figured i´d at least try sth else (that i like) before throwing in the towel and work just for the sake of working somewhere. Have some money set aside to last it out (and studying here is basically free aside from cost of living. Sorry guys ...) and just needed that change before i went mental... Anyway, would be pretty cool to have some people around here to ask about (english language) literature, websites or general tips and pointers they´d recommend as i move along  Or just have discussions about how it works/worked for you.
