The game was back-and-forth all day, moving finally into overtime. Each team scored a TD in the first 2 OT sessions, with N.C. State scoring on 1st down 25 yard runs each try. In the 3rd OT, the Seminoles could muster only a FG after a short run and 2 incompletions. The Wolfpack then scored the winning points in 2 plays.
