FOFC Live! was able to give out their first real contract since Double D & The Usuals finished up their first contract.

Look for Fascist Eagle's self titled release near the top of the charts in 2 months

Talking about contrats.

S1C (Short One Crouton) just signed a 1 single 1 album contract with Sparrow records, who will post 50000 each for the production costs.

A big step up from our previous contract.

Sweet, Pasty & Proud sold out all 45,000 copies the first month, putting us at #2 in sales. Wish I could've afforded to produce a few more copies.

Nice chunk 'o change there though. Now if only I could get my singer frigging happy. Everyone else in the band is, but not him....bastard.

I am pleased to annouce that ska is alive and well. The Cells first full album, appropriately titled "Everything We Got" is at the top of the charts, selling a full 15k more copies than second place. We pushed 110k of these things out the door out of an intial pressing of 160k. This breakthrough also pushes FOFC Live! to the front of the best selling labels chart as well.

Argh. FOFC Live! has been disbanded

Dev, could we get a "Are you sure" screen on the option to disband. I misclicked on manage and with them right next to each other...

Also, I tried to use FOFC: The Label, the name I had used before. But it won't let you create a label with a name used before. But it was kind enough to take the $250K I had fronted it and spread it across oblivion.

So there's a couple of fun bugs to play with.

I'll try to restart the label next month for anyone interested. This should actually help some of the bands that were struggling for money. Fascist Eagle's self titled album will be out next month and I'll be flush with cash to pour back into the label. Lesson learned from last time: shorter contracts and more cash to bands. Anyone with name suggestions. Right now I'm kindof partial to FOFC: Trout Records.

Damn, the month FOFC Live! took #1 in sales to go with #1 in rating and it implodes. I think its gotta be some kind of scandle related. Someone quickly investigate SI!

I'm still interested in the FOFC label. Who knows, the Pimp Daddies might actually make a record soon.

Too Bad Bruthaz are set to release their first single, "Microphone Wrecker," in conjunction with a Tour of America's Heartland. "Corrupting Nebraska Farmers' Daughters Wit' Gangsta Shiznit" is our theme for this tour. "Get Out My Face" is on the B-side of the single.

Music Maven ate my bands money!

I started a record label, Underworld Records, with my first band, Zero To Sixty (seeing as FOFC Live! no longer exists ). I initially deposited 20,000 into the label funds. I noticed I missspelled my label name so I deposited the money back with the band and disbanded the label. After creating a new, properly spelled version, I started it with the same amount, 20,000. It told me "Your Label Has been Created" and took me to the next screen where I see that the label was not created and that I'm out 20k!

To the 10 bands that applied to Sparrow; I will have to wait until after tonight to offer anyone contracts because the label wasn't expecting the Free Agent Pool to open up.

Well, a new FOFC Label will be online tonight after I see how well my album sells and how much cash I have to throw around. So, there will be a new option for FOFC'ers this weekend.

After Fascist Eagle's first full length album debuted at #1, the band poured $300K into Front Office Records. The first two contracts have been offered, one to a bad who I signed yesterday before the label went kaput (Double D & The Usuals) and one who already offered to join (Rising Hayabusa).

I also offered to a few other of the bands I remembered who had released albums for FOFC Live! They're all only 1 single contracts so that I can give out more money per contract. But right now I've only got so much on hand because of the album profits lost to the now defunct FOFC Live! and the $250K that just disappeared to oblivion.

Just as we were on the verge of being the most popular Indie Band group, my band members are starting to drop with sickness week after week. And instead we are stuck in the #2 spot. #2 spot doesn't get our band name on the news screen! I think my band members can't handle success, either that or only 2 days of rest of a month is a little rough.

You have finally beat us out here at Sparrow Records, for most ever sold, even though you were disbanded the albums and singles that were made under that label continued to sell. Sucks that you haveto start over I was liking the competition.

Can anyone help me with this? My wife's band, the Dream Apples, signed a contract with a label that offered her 20K to make a single. She made the single and sold out 100 copies. She's trying to make more copies, but it's saying she doesn't have enough funds to do so (she only has about $150 left of her band's money). How can she use part of the 20K offered by the label?

Well it looks like Stoney Blue and the Goodfellas are going to record their first single this month. Planning on pressing 150k copies, with a total cost 200k. Hopefully I will sell out

The 20K is to help with MAKING the single (IE, spend it or lose it at the time of making it)

When you go to the recording screen it'll list "Band Funds Available" and "Label Funds Available." If your wife's band had $150 and the label was pitching in $20k, that means you had $20,150 to make the single. If you didn't use that money when you made the single you lost it. You should've made a hell of a lot more than 100 copies, there's virtually no profit in that.
