Dear St. Cloud,
You stink and I don't like you! (but I didn't do much to fix you since I had no money, so I guess we both share some blame here.)

Naps Lasseter Claims 200th Victory
Tuesday, September 5th, 2028: His goal at twenty was to win twenty games one year, pitch until he was thirty, win the league pennant and to make some money. Well, Henry Lasseter did something even better -- the 37-year-old Cleveland Naps star has now won 200 games in his career. That put him in a very select group of pitchers.

He joined that exclusive club today at Legends Stadium by whipping the New York Legends 6-5, holding them to 5 hits in 5.2 innings while chalking up no strikeouts and 2 walks.

In the postgame interview, the modest Lasseter said, "It's special to win 200 games. You don't do it by yourself. You do it with good stuff and a good bullpen. You are only as good as the guys behind you. Years from now I might look back on it and give myself a little pat on the back."

His career totals show Lasseter has a 200-180 won-lost record with a 4.27 ERA.

Washington and Havana wind up tied at the end of the regular season. They will play one game to determine who will have homefield advantage in the CLCS.

Washington led the regular season series between the two teams 16-8, so will host this one game playoff.

Woohoo! Been a good week in Chief land, with respect to FOOL leagues at least. Quite happy to see this, although I am a little surprised, because I really felt I needed more power for this team to truly contend. I was expecting another third or fourth place finish.

That said, though, and even with home field advantage, it might be a short stay. Dude, we went 8-16 against Washington this year? Yikes!

Well, okay 9-16, counting the playoffs. Still, think about that--outside of playing Washington, we went 89-50.

Hyde, we meet again. I think this time, it's going to be you moving on. Good luck tomorrow!

Heh...well, you know how things have been lately for my teams, so it's certainly not a regular thing. But I'll take it. Hopefully I can keep it going.

Thanks!

Goodluck Chief and everyone else as well.

You will likely win this one as well. At some point this season my best SP dropped to a 4 control so I don't have the same SP I had at the early part of the season. I have had a nice run here the last couple months. I have made the playoffs 9 of the last 10 seasons. Only had 1 title in that span though so that likely will be my doom.

My best season so far.

Just gotta keep the team headed the right way......Gotta get some hitters to come here somehow......Trying to draft some since some of my pitching is doing well. If I can get some runs then maybe I can keep moving upwards.
