Xbox Live down?
I tried to play my game in the NOFL and couldn't sign in to Xbox Live. My son told me that it's down for an upgrade. Are we moving back when to advance weeks for leagues? Does anyone know how long it'll be down?

Yeah, it's down for 24 hours. I'm guessing 3 AM EST is when it comes back online.

On Monday, 9/29/2008 from 12:01 AM PST for up to 24 hours, Xbox Live will be offline for maintenance. As a result, Xbox LIVE and the ‘My Xbox’ section of Xbox.com will be unavailable, and the Xbox forums will be in read only mode (you won’t be able to post.) The remainder of Xbox.com will be available with limited interruptions.
This service maintenance is in preparation for the new Xbox experience which will be available later this fall. (posted this last tuesday)

It was up for a bit and went back down...just verifying this....anyone else notice or am I being jammed off?

I play Live way too much...what you just said will happen until it comes back up 100%. You'll be able to sign in for a bit or even start an online game...but it will kick you off. Hopefully the downtime isn't more than 24 hours. I've seen these "maintenance" times go for several days. I need it back to play my NOFL game Tuesday/Wednesday.

is it down now? I'm unable to connect, my connection test fails the "connect to xbox live" section, everything else(IP/DNS etc) seems fine.

Is it still down now? I'm too lazy to try it tonight...well...maybe I'll give it a shot in an hour or two after a beer.
