Red Bull
Why does this yak piss tasting stuff cost around 30 dollars a gallon. That's ridiculous.

You've tried yak piss?
And why are you concerned with its cost if you think it tastes like yak piss? Unless you like drinking yak piss? /tk

Red Bull is the most disgusting, and least effective, energy drink.

$1.99 in my local supermarket per can, $5.75 in the local casino per can. For $5.75 it should open itself, pour itself in my mouth and swallow itself for me.

Sugar Free Red Bull for me. I just started drinking this stuff a couple months ago actually, can't get enough. I don't drink sugar though so I stick to the Sugar Free.
I like the taste, and it has relaced coffee as my 'pick me up' drink during the middle of those long night drives or when I wake up at 10 pm to start driving. Other 'energy' drinks rarely have a sugar free version, so I have not really tried any of those.

Full Throttle is too sweet. Monster smells like a jar of vitamins when you open it.
Redbull...just right. I only drink it with Vodka.

I normally buy 2 of the "Tall Boy" Amp cans, but they stopped running the special at the conveniece store on the way to work. Coffee just fucks with my stomach way too much to be useful as a pick me up.

I bought a can of this junk called "Rip It" from the local ghetto grocery store. I'm going to drink it now, I'll update tomorrow on how it works.

Cactus Cooler.
I know it's not an energy drink, but damn if I don't get cans of that stuff stacking up on review days when I'm trying to get three games done at once. |

I'm big on the NoS and the Monster "Khaos" and also the Lost.. energy drinks, the ones that are 50 percent juice are my favorites, just enough taste and just enough boost for working the graveyard shift molding plastic. My roommate is a fiend for Coke Blak. the 99 cent "Rip It" drinks taste like shit and do nothing for me.. Theyre like a cheap set of silverware that wont cut steak without breaking.

Looks like Red Bull got pulled in parts of Germany.
Red Bull pulled in Germany after cocaine test - Europe- msnbc.com Red Bull pulled in Germany after cocaine test Authorities say the drug level was too low to pose a health risk BERLIN - Six German states have told retailers to stop selling Red Bull Cola energy drinks after a test found a trace amount of cocaine. The bans started Friday after a sample test conducted by authorities in North Rhine-Westphalia state found 0.4 micrograms per liter in the drink. Five other states also banned it from shops amid concerns over possible narcotics law violations. Germany's Federal Institute for Risk Assessment said Monday that the cocaine level was too low to pose a health risk. It planned to produce a more detailed report Wednesday. Red Bull said its cola is "harmless and marketable in both the U.S. and Europe." It said similar coca leaf extracts are used worldwide as flavoring, and a test it commissioned itself found no cocaine traces. I love the last sentence. Energy drinks are such a misnomer. They should just be honest and call them ridiculous amounts of caffeine in a can that get you all jittery and then you crash.

I can't drink energy drinks anymore...one to many Jaeger bombs a few years ago left me passed out in my hotel bathroom covered in my own vomit, worst smell ever. Every time I smell a red bull it flashes me back....
It's like Tequila, I can never drink that again for the same reason.

had one of those tall boy Amp can today, the orange one. Had a couple hours of driving to do around dinner time, after driving three hours in the morning and I didn't want to drink more coffee as it makes my bladder cry. Thought the taste was pretty decent and either it was a simple placebo effect or the stuff really does work, but I stayed alert for the rest of the drive back home. I'd never had any type of energy drink before. FM

Yes to sugar free. No to total zero BTW.
Tried making Jaegerbombs with the cranberry. Do not recommend. |

Worst drink I ever tasted. I like Amp energy drinks but they don't seem to sell that well as the lemonade one is gone from my main local grocery store. While I like the blue Monsters, you can taste the evil as it goes down. I like the grape one the most. Kickstarters are rather good and usually my preferred drink(Black Cherry).

This is one of the most asinine lawsuits I've ever heard of and it upsets me that they actually had to settle and pay money to make it go away.

Maybe you should read what the lawsuit is about instead of just reacting. Nobody sued Red Bull because they didn't grow wings.

For some reason I've read this article multiple times today and skipped over that relevant part, but it's still annoying. Maybe I misinterpreted and thought it was just about the wings line, but even so, there's more than just caffeine in there which is supposed to affect performance/concentration/reaction speed, isn't there? If science is involved and says the product is completely falsifying that claim, fine. I still think it's a waste of time and people need to be responsible for their own decisions. |
