Logged in to simply check commits and YES, I got my guy!

We had four hard commits:

Ervin Heard 4* running back
Richard Morse 3* athlete
Alan Kaplan 3* defensive end
Michael Pitts 3* wide receiver

HUGE week for us. Plus we picked up a couple of soft commits.

Alright, lambs for the slaughter as we play #2 Arkansas. I can play: Sunday (7-9 CST start time), Monday night (7-9 CST start time), Tuesday/Wednesday (3-9 CST start time), Thursday (6-9 CST start time). If you need another time, let me know or drop me a PM.

Our win last week saw us jump back up to #25 in the Coaches poll. Another big week in recruiting as we pick up three more commitments.

The biggest of the three is quarterback Jason Terrell. Terrell, hailing far away from some place called Wisconsin, is the 4th ranked QB in the nation and the 36th overall recruit. We started off the season in Terrell's top 10 but I initially didn't pursue him. About two or three weeks into the season I noticed he wasn't getting much attention so we decided to go after him with everything. The only two other schools to offer scholarships were Alabama and Penn State.

Code:
Jason Terrell 6'2" 195 lbs Kenosha, WI #4 QB (#36 in nation) OVR THP THA ELU SPD STR AWR AGI ACC STA B- A B- C B- D+ B+ C+ B+ B- INT JMP B C-

Terrell should be just about the perfect QB for the system I want to run. Hell of a strong arm, accuracy that should improve and good athleticism. The depth chart in front of him is going to be pretty clogged next season. Terrell is most likely to redshirt his first year and then get a shot at the starting job the following season.

We also won two recruiting battles against human opponents this week. We ended up holding onto defensive tackle Vince Harris, putting an end to a season long charge from Oklahoma State. Likewise we also closed the deal on cornerback Jason Vaughn who we fought hard with Arkansas to land. Harris has an outside chance to see some playing time as a true freshman but Vaughn will most certainly redshirt the first year due to poor coverage skills.

My goal for the rest of recruiting this year is to develop pipelines for next year. We will likely succeed in developing a pipeline into Logan's backyard of Oklahoma. I also have my sights on doing the same in the prospect rich state of Alabama but we only have an outside shot at that.

We are currently projected to play in the Emerald Bowl (#6 Big 12 against #9 ACC) against Boston College. There is an outside shot of making it to the Alamo Bowl if we beat Texas next week and Colorado loses to Nebraska.

We have a chance to really humiliate Texas (5-6) next week. If we beat them then they will not be bowl eligible. I can think of few things more awesome than that.

Arkansas brings in another commitment. 4* DT Chris Kiel. Along with Kiel we have 4* OLB Dominic Dudley, 4* SS Tom Randle and 3* DE Darrell Sanni.

Sweet!

The win impressed a few Recruits.

4* DE B. Siegel
3* QB M. Pruitt
2* HB
2* T

That was big...onto Notre Dame!

Arkansas smoked me pretty good. I think the final was 31-14 but we held tough against the run, so that was a pretty good feeling. Otherwise, even this loss, can't bring down how happy I was with the recruitment news.

Good luck Arkansas vs. LSU and in the Big 12 title game and finally in the National Championship Game!

Bah!

I didn't realize ND was a decent team until I played them. Lost 44-14. Which is a deceiving score, I had it 26 - 14 and then a fumbled KR in the 3rd blew it open for them as I had to scramble and attempt to fight back.

Syracuse is slow, their Oline cannot hold a block worth beans.

Also, another thing to note, with these sliders the strip ball button gets me a ton of face masks, that killed me as well in the end.

You pretty much took away the run all game, the final rushing numbers are deceiving since Smith broke two long ones that made up the bulk of his yards. But for the most part I couldn't do anything on the ground.

"the dynasty servers are currently unavailable."

Unless that changes quickly we might have to reschedule.

Mike and I couldn't get our game in last night, both of us were getting server down errors when we tried to connect over the course of a couple hours. We're going to play our game tonight instead.

NC State gets 3 more hard commits this week:

4* T Spencer Alexander - JUCO, #5 Tackle, a run blocking specialist who we'll be happy to have blocking for Roberts for a couple seasons.

4* DE Michael Marcellus - #20 DE

4* HB Brandon Roberts - #27 HB in the nation. He has A+ speed, which with adequate skills elsewhere should make him a 1500 yard rusher.

Our recruiting class now contains 1 5* recruit and 5 4* recruits.

The first meeting between Mike1409 and myself to renew the North Carolina-NC State rivalry definitely lived up to arch rival standards. I never take highlights in a loss so I've got nothing

NC State never led in the game, but it was close the entire way, and the score was 21-21 with ~4 minutes to play. UNC had the first shot to break the tie but a big sack killed their drive. NC State got the ball with the next chance to break the tie, a holding penalty on 1st down and a sack on 1st and 20 killed my shot to score. UNC was able to get the goahead score on a long TD pass to Brandon Tate. An INT on my next drive, and a couple desperation hail marys that weren't caught in the final seconds seal up a hard fought win by the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill, 28-21 UNC.

Between the numerous recruiting battles and games like this that I expect every year, this is going to be a heck of a rivalry. Good game!

I will post highlights!! It was an exciting game and a real rivaly will continue to develop as we fight for recruits as well. I can only this will sway a few my way over the next couple of weeks!

This game went back and forth. When I couldn't go up 2 scores at the endof the first half or to start the 2nd, I knew it would come down to a few big plays and I happened to be on the right side of those.
