I totally figured Godfather and Gone With the Wind would be 1/2 (not necessarily in that order).

Now that they've both been taken, I was torn in making the rules. I thought about making the "One quote per character" rule, but that would have ruled out the "Make my day/Do I feel lucky" combo.

This wouldn't have made it out of the first round if Axl Rose had been drafting.

I am surprised this was the Casablanca quote. As I have aged, I have come around to think this may be the perfect movie. There is plenty of romance for women, you have the backdrop of war and humor for the men, and it is a classic story of love. Finally, it does not have the predictable happy ending.

I have to shamefully admit that I only saw Casablanca for the first time three weeks ago. And I'm 34. And it may be my favorite movie of all time already. It's freaking phenomenal. And I have to say, I agree that despite the fact that EVERYONE knows that quote, that would definitely not be my pick for a quote from that movie. It might not even make my top five.

I almost used it at 1.3, the only thing holding me back was worry over the fact that the quote is not the same as the often misquoted line and the Terminator line fit the exact same genre/period. Had the same conundrum in round two but just decided to hope one of them were there when it came back around.

Sixth Sense is really a horror, not a drama. I think the voters may punish the category choice here.

(Also, I was 100% going to take it as a drama with my next pick, you dickhead.)

So, basically, great quotes come from great movies. There really isn't the equivalent of a top-five player on a shitty team.
