The Player of the Year: 2007

Once again the nation is divided as to who the best collegiate player should be. The top offensive player and 1st team All American QB, Jonathan DeWolf of Michigan, was 4th in the voting with 111 total.

Second in the balloting for Player of the Year, and also 2nd team All American QB, was Tang Le Wood from Florida.

The Player of the Year award ,for the second straight year, goes to a QB from USC. This year it is Fernando Hartman with 138 votes.

Senior QB Darrin Fine of USC, last year's winner, sat out the year suspended for rules infractions.

Congratulations!!

BTW, the 2nd thru 5th place vote getters are all under classmen and will fight it out, along with some new blood, for next year's prize.

Final Rankings, 2007:

Michigan is the consensus #1 team in the nation for 2007. This is their 2nd National crown as they won in 2004 as well.

Next year FOFC players will be on each of the top 5 teams from this final poll- bragging rigths will be hard to come by in '08. It would also appear that some bit of parity is starting to filter in as many new schools are beggining to rise- at least for now.

An excellent year capped off with a Rose Bowl victory and 2nd best player in the land, couldn't really ask for much more. Well, maybe a national championship next year....?

Note: unlisted denotes a player not in the TCY game. I guess FOF makes some up to fill in or something.

2007 is in the books.

Again, if anyone is curious about a stat or a player (or whatever), ask away.

2008 will begin with new player profiles sometime tonight, I hope.

Woot! I finally get to play my senior year of high school. I've been terrorizing California QB's for all of my soph. and jr. years.

Also, thanks to whomever rated this dynasty. Not only is it nice to know someone appreciates what you do, but it also makes it easier to find when scrolling down the page.
