Bad as it was, the Cougs led until late in the game when the Huskies went on a 14 play, 95 yard TD drive to win the game. One hopes State recruited some O-linemen, as pressure on the QB disrupted the Cougar offense once more. UCLA's loss to USC would have given the Pac 10 title to the Cougars.
