8 Year Old Kid Tackled by Browns Fan

So, I am not sure if someone else already posted this bI guess some Brown fan tackled a 8 year old boy and drove the kid intot eh parking lot pavement after the Browns loss to the jets. I hate the Jets b ut this is despicable. Colin Cowherd is offering to pay for any Browns fans season ticket if they can identify this guy so they can plaster his name and picture out there. For the Jets part they offered the Kid and his family VIP tickets and treatment but I guess the kid was traumatized enough that he does not want to go to anymore football games.

Sounds to me like a Philly fan disguised as a Browns fan.

The tackling part can't really be excused by any additional information though.

Or it was a bunch of crap and they don't want to be exposed for it being a bunch of crap.

For the most part, I'm skeptical of any items that come up and going to the media is on your list of things to do.

They specifically asked not to be identified. Doesn't sound like media showboating to me. All she did was write a letter to the editorial, that's pretty tame.

My comment was totally tongue-in-cheek. The fact that this was Cleveland and not Philly/NYC/Boston is the only thing that will save this thread from going 10 pages.

This is unusual behavior for any North American football game.

Ya, it doesn't make much sense to make this up and then decline the perks. Unless we hear they're shopping the incident as some kind of reality show.

What if the kid was on fire from too much lighter fluid on the BBQ and the tackler was trying to tackle the kid into his kiddie pool a little bit behind him to put the fire out?

I will make a case for what might have happened. Completely out of line but a little different than a tackle…

Maybe some really drunk fan picked the kid up as a joke (obviously its not a joke to sober people and non-rednecks but bear with me) and then either dropped the kid or didn't even drop the kid but just pissed the parents off enough to write the leeter. It is being sold like a football tackle but my guess is this is closer to the truth.

Inexcusable? Absolutely. But hardly what the article is implying.

....................what? You do know there are witnesses and the tackle story has been confirmed by the Browns staff, right?

Not from the article that was orginally posted I didn't see any of that. I don't have any stake in this so if this is the case he sounds like a real asshole. I am a Bengal fan and hate the Browns.

If this were Philly, the kid would have still been in the stadium, throwing snowballs and batteries at the Santa he found out wasn't real.

If it were Ray Lewis, 4 other guys would have hit the kid first...but Ray would have jumped on the pile and gotten credit from the tackle.

Then h would have watched while one of the other guys killed the kid and lied about seeing it to the Feds.

If the guy was on the Chargers' special teams, he would have let the kid right on by and block the punt.

Surprised that half of the bystanders didn't argue that the guy should have just let the kid score as to preserve time on the clock for a game tying drive.

If the kid was Lathum he'd have complained about all the hot chicks at the game and, in an eff...

...you know, I can't keep going with this. It's Cleveland. There's no hot chicks there.

Lathum's vagina probably produced the kid in the first place.
