Checking in. I don't care about the money, but for some reason the T.A.R.D.I.S. brought me here.

You are on the Ground Floor, in the Great Hall.

After serving all of you your drinks of choice and listening to each of you declare how your drink is quite more to your liking than the other's drinks are to those that drink them, Hogsworth goes behind a podium presses a button. A gramophone on a turntable slides out of the wall and begins to play. The needle pops and hisses until finally an old voice is heard.

"Good evening, my friends. I trust you are all well. I hope your journey was a safe one and Hogsworth has been attending to you satisfactorily. It is my pleasure to announce to you all that the game has indeed begun. This Treasure Hunt of sorts is my last true gift I leave to the world and good luck to all of you. I trust my successor and heir will be worthy of the title of Lord of the Manor.

As has been discussed, all treasure is hidden inside or underneath objects throughout the rooms of my mansion, you may look at one item per day. Highest total wins. Beware, the house is full of all sorts of surprises. If you find any kind of lever or button, maybe you should use it. You never know what might happen.

(pause with the sound of pages being flipped )

Would the following persons, please follow Hogworth up the grand red staircase up to the Top Floor. (Go to the Top Floor Thread).

JAG, Chief Rum, Bhlloy, Dubb

The following should take the gold side stairs up the Middle Floor (Middle Floor Thread)

Autumn, Danny, DaddyTargo, Passacaglia, booradley

Those of the following monikers should through the open doorway behind you and descend down the green stairs to the basement level (Basement thread):

Spleen, Mauchow, Zinto, Saldana

Now, Hogsworth would you please be so kind...
(Hogsworth fiddles with something behind the podium and suddenly the wall behind you spins taking the following people with it

Britrock, GoldenEagle, Jackal, Darth Vilus, ntndeacon

Good! They will be fine. They don't even have to leave the level or thread.

Good hunting everyone! Make haste! I need an heir!....*skip*...I need an heir!....*skip*...I need an heir!....*skip*...I need an heir!....*skip*...I need an heir!....*skip*...

You are in The Parlor.
dousman-parlor-post-restoration (700x550).jpg

The wall stops and those with it come to rest in another room (Britrock, GoldenEagle, Jackal, Darth Vilus, ntndeacon and no one else. Others should look above for which thread they should be in). A very quaint room. Elegant CURTAINS shape the window and give it a royal look. A nice STOOL rests by a ZITHER which leans against it. A sideboard holds a nice display shelf featuring various figurines, including a SIAMESE CAT and a MUSIC BOX. A GUITAR leans up against the sideboard near a pedastal which features a DANCING COUPLE STATUE. What is best are the wonderfully comfortable chairs throughout the room flanked by tables to set your drinks.

Against the wall is a rather odd keyboard that isn't a keyboard at all but a series of levers. There is a blue lever, a green lever, a black lever, a purple lever, and an orange lever, and a nice pretty black button.

Exits: You may go to Top Floor, Middle Floor, or Basement

I don't think we are in the voting time yet, but we need some sort of discussion.

This is just an early working assumption. I am assuming the wolves are split up. 1 per room. I realize that gives us more wolves than I assume are in the game...but if we look room by room odds are we get a wolf in that room.

Never played a multi-thread game before... I suppose that means we can only know about what segment of voting is happening in our current room?

*SPROING* Britrock suddenly isn't there anymore as the plate he was standing on springs up through the ceiling. Luckily for him a hole in the ceiling also opened up and you aren't showerd with innards.

Britrock please go to Middle Floor Thread IMMEDIATELY.

You all get very excited with your searching that you don't even hear the gong...and then the sounds of mechanical gears working behind the walls. You just continue dreaming your dreamy little dreams.

You hear the churning of machinery behind the walls and AGAIN the whole room shifts and spits you out in another room then the wall shifts back leaving you in this other place. Hmmm....you are back in the Parlor!

Hogsworth sticks his head in, "Are you all okay? Congratulations on all of you so far. If you haven't found something, don't worry. Don't give up! Stiff upper lip and all that. And someone has found a sparkling sword! And to the one I owe a favor, simply pull the bellpull in PM and I will meet with you secretly.

You may enter your movements until 9 PM PST. Everything is resolved thus far.

Mauchow comes upstairs from the basement and looks around. He sees its lone occupant Jackal sitting there who hasn't moved in awhile.

Darth Vilus goes up the sparkly gold stair and ntndeacon goes up the red velvet staircase.

DV please go to the MIDDLE FLOOR thread and ntndeacon go to the TOP FLOOR THREAD.

And just so you know, Jackal, I counted DV's search of "FIGURINES" as the cat since really it was the only one. I probably won't let that slide again though. PLease make sure that you use the correct word when inspecting, people.
