I think that every major on-air political and sports commentator could go away and be replaced by the next in line, and after a week we'd be fine with it.

"Do you miss SVP?" "Yeah, but the new guy's pretty good; he's growing on me."

"Do you miss the original Fox and Friends hosts?" "I did at first, but I really like the new people now."

I believe in redemption. I don't think that Toobin should have to live his days out on a prison ship or something.

But being a major TV personality is still a pretty special job, and you don't have some right to keep doing it just because you used to do it before you got suspended for public masturbation.

There are dozens (probably hundreds) of people you could replace him with, and we'd all be just fine.
