It only took me 70 man-hours, which isn't bad considering I carved it by hand from one piece of wood.

Good stuff there. In all regards.

Also, I believe it's "HPOA" not "HOPA".

Yeah it's HPOA, but he called her HOPA and she had to rearrange the letters.

I also agree she's so hot. Did that comment really send her over the top? So she put up with the bad breath, time controlling, etc. etc. but once he says she's hot (stating a fact), she quits.

And what type of phone system nowadays has the assistant on the phone in 3 way with the caller and the person who got the call?

The phones at my old job went into a "3 way" situation when you transfer a call. Since it was retail, you are actually supposed to wait until the department picked up the phone before you hung up on a transfer. I have no idea if that is standard for an assistant in an office environment.

I also wonder about how long she was "hanging on the phone" after transferring. Did he call her a HOPA right off the bat in the conversation? It would have had to have been the first thing out of his mouth unless she was listening in longer than necessary to transfer.

'Tis funny, but I think it's all staged and has little basis in actual reality.

And if its HOPA, what does that mean?

I assume that it's just easier to say HOPA than it is to say HPOA.

Sigh... I know its off topic and completely anal of me, but when did it become acceptable for writers to confuse "know" and "no". I see these errors more often than I used to. I am by no means an English major. In fact I probably have several errors in my rant, but I do not write for a living.

I'm glad I wasn't the only person to notice that. Crappy editing, there. I'm also trying to figure out when "loose" and "lose" became so interchangeable.

Again, it is all about context. As a random office worker--super duper hot. As an actress/model--average.

It's the exact same woman, but I find her less hot now that I know that she is a professionally hot woman as opposed to an office diamond in the rough.
