I honestly have no idea what her disability is.

I fully admit she is a "friend" solely for the entertainment of reading her garbage.

I know her from working at a grocery store together in the early through mid 90's (HS/early college). She was eventually fired for skimming money off the top when cashiers would return there drawers to the office at the end of their shift.

When she sent the friend request about 3 months ago, I honestly had no idea who she was...my only mutual friend with her was my older sister, who also worked at the grocery store. I asked my sister who it was, and her response was "don't you remember her getting fired from Shop N Save??"

After a quick review, she has posted her "plea" at least each of the last 10 days. I couldn't bother going back any further on her page. Along with those are a ridiculous amount of free gifts from Happy Slots. All posted from her iPhone.

It breaks my heart to see her struggling like this.

Can you post a pic so that we can decide whether or not we should feel sorry for her too?

As I went to see if she had any postable pictures...there are 2 from April of her in a wedding dress. Now, I get that these could be older pictures (she has a son, I know this much), but why in the world would you post old wedding pictures if you are now divorced/separated/whatever? She is odd.

And...IMO, you are all better without pics pls k thx!

Was she going to a Muriel's Wedding fan convention?

Haha. And really, NOBODY calls this person out for that, even some non-close old high school acquaintance that never liked him/her anyway?

In response to a concert. He posts a lot. He's not a terrible guy, just a rock star who spends a lot of time on the internet complaining about money and stuff. Which seems to work, because people send him stuff. It just seems unseemly to me.

In response to a concert he wanted to go to:

Quote:
I would really like to attend this show, but I'm dead broke. If anyone reading this plans to attend and would be kind enough to buy me a ticket, I'll repay you in cookies and endless gratitude

It worked. He got put on the guest list, sans cookies presumably.

That quote seemed to be butchered beyond butchering. Isn't it a Mark Twain quote? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt".

I don't think so. I think it is a tutorial on apostrophes and contractions.

Because there isn't a "Facebook posts so awesome they belong in this thread!!!! HEre's a funny one:

Posted by Wisconsin Badger JJ Watt on his Facebook page:

JJ was sitting at the airport in his new Texans gear when a person came up to him and said: "I hope that big white kid from Wisconsin is good"

JJ didn't say what he responded to the guy with but it should have been something like: "Yes I'm going to be awesome..."

Then in the comments:

"I heard the news this morning. So sad. I am praying also!"

"Yes!!!"

It's that last comment that struck me - reads as if she's happy the person died. Woops.

OK, so you know how you get that People You May Know category in the upper right-hand corner of your page? Well, there's a guy up there named Richard Filaccio - that's got to be someone's idea of a joke, right? I don't know him but I have 4 mutual friends, all of whom are musicians. Gotta be a prank...right?

Full disclosure. Anybody who is friends with me has probably noticed that one person in particular seems to "like" a lot of my posts. He is legitimately mentally challenged (slowed?), but recently got his degree from Morgan State. He's been working as a night shift manager at McDonald's. He posted this today...

No idea. Half of me is impressed with him getting a degree--I never would have expected that in high school. The other half has seen this guy's other posts and it sounds like he's brought a lot of his recent job-hunting issues on himself.
