Ray Lewis of Baltimore Ravens says crime will rise if season lost - ESPN

I feel there is much more to life then football, Ray.. It appears someone need to get a grip..

Does that mean he'll be stabbing or shooting more people then?

Apparently he is right.

Thanks Ray for the prison view of the lockout.

Would an 18-game season thus lower crime?

Ray has never shot anyone...at least that we know of. I've always wondered where he was when Joey Porter got shot in the ass that time.

He could always follow Hines Ward and go dancing.

This was (sort of) the premise of The Running Man. IIRC, it was based off the fact that crime drops during the Superbowl so the next logical step is to program exciting sports all the time to tame the unwashed masses.

What better time to bust this out.

But I actually do think he may have a small point that is ballooned to a large one by his massive ego.
