Free Baseball Mogul 2007
If anyone wants a free game to play and hasn't already bought BM 2007 or 2008, Clay is offering it for free from the website. But you need to specifically use this link since it's not posted on the site itself it was included in an email from him.

A game that you can quicksim and just look at stats, isn't worth it? You're crazy. |

There's a vocal group of people on many different message boards who will take every opportunity to slam Baseball Mogul any chance they get. I've learned to ignore them over time. 2007 was a good year for Mogul, and the 2008 version is even better. It's a great "pick-up-and-play" game and compliments OOTP and PureSim very well. |

+1 I was very happy with the 2007 version for this exact reason.

Yeah I know. I don't consider BM the greatest end all of text sims, but I've always enjoyed it's pickupandplayability. |

You really buy all 3 text sim baseball games? I havent bought a single one since i tried OOTP a few years back and didnt love it, but even if i was still buying i couldnt reason buying 3 games to basically have the same experience. That just doesnt make sense to me, no offense intended.

At one point or another I have bought all three, yes. Baseball is big hobby of mine and I've been involved with the testing of both OOTP and PureSim, so I haven't had to buy a copy of either of those games for a couple of versions now. I also support the mod community with my website so the developers of all 3 games have been very kind. That being said, I'd probably still pay for each new version every year if I had to. I really do play them all. |

Since you were involved in the testing, what are your thoughts on the move of OOTP back out of the SI fold? Im interested in hearing an insiders view of the matter, in terms of the product being offered next year.

Wow, thanks for the link! I like BM as a time-waster where you can just blow through seasons and not invest too much in it. Free makes it that much better.

Mogul is a fine game. Implement some house rules and it can be quite fun. Haters just suckaz.

http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/...ad.php?t=36574 it's sad when a 2-1/2 year old thread about a game i never bought is lodged in my brain.

I feel like this is the thread where there should be an 80-post Q&A with jb asking you what you think about this? |

Once I found the perfect sliders/setting(posted on the BM07 forums), along with the updated roster file, I had more fun with this game than any in the past. I've played every baseball sim known to man, and I still have the most fun with BM. It really boggles the mind, as I enjoy all the games in the genre.
