OOTPOU and dev will need to be moved too, but I have to do that when I have time (aka, not right now) but will update and let you all know when that's moved, as well.

So I know Timv (Wyoming) in real life and since he's in my office right now, I thought it'd be cool to have someone actually watch me do the draft lottery. So in case you wanted to know the shit was legit.

He can verify it once he gets to a computer. (I'm actually fixing his laptop in here...)

Just as an FYI, you can drop up to about $20m in contracts each year, as that's the amount of cash we give teams to play with or whatever. There was some confusion about this, so I wanted to put it out there.

It's not really required unless you have some kind of issue that needs to be addressed (aka, you release a guy with a team option and the game tries to make you pay the option year ahead of time...)

Umm...the in-game date is 1864. So I'd try redownloading the league file again.

Oh wow, I just noticed that. Only a 4% chance of getting the top pick, so landing the #2 is a really nice jump. Haven't seen a team outside the Top 4 or so, land a pick that high in a long time.

Specifically because WAS had a problem that shorted them the cap space they had and wouldn't have let them participate in FA. So I've fixed that and processed both trades since I was in there anyway.

File is up. No one else needs to download it, just a heads up for those teams.

ok maybe i'm missing something but i'm showing a player salary of about 90,000,000 should have about 10 million for FA and it is not letting me put in an offer in saying i dont have enough cashola for the guy

Dunno what happened to JonG, but sometimes it's hard for some OOTP guys who don't otherwise use the forums to come over here as much or maybe just having a bad team was boring. In any case, if he ever comes back we'll find a squad for him or something.

In the meantime, so as not to leave that squad to languish...tgcarlsson(Rio Grande) told me several seasons ago that his son was interested in joining the league and I told him we'd just keep him on the waiting list since expansion to 20 was not quite in the offing yet. (Though someday...)

Anyway, Boston GM is his user name and he'll be taking over the Boston Blue Sox this season.

Gotcha. No problem. I've noticed a bug that if you withdraw an offer on a guy, re-export and no one has offered him, he'll still sign with your team.

I will rescind the deal when I get home later.

OOTP 13 update (version 13.10.37) is available - improves font rendering! - OOTP Developments Forums

They released a new patch for OOTP a few days ago, not sure if everyone has it. Shouldn't affect anything related to our files/league as I just did it yesterday, but...worth doing if you haven't.
