So, I am in this league with one of those guys who apparently has all day to just pick guys up. New closers, top prospects coming up, rotations changing, position or platoon changes, etc.

Do you guys have a go to app or site which gives you the information you need all in one place or sends you alerts or anything like that?

The sirius/ XM fantasy channel has a lot of info of that sort.

I'll second the Rotoworld app. This is the exact reason though, that I dropped fantasy baseball. Infuriating.

Yeah depending on the stakes involved you really have to go to a FAAB type budget. I say this as a teacher who actually was able to pick up the new Marlins closer or recent Giants promotion faster than anyone else but realized how unfair it was to people who actually were working and had families.

Twitter works best for me. One stop shopping if you follow a very select few people.

Isn't this the type of stuff waiver wires should help resolve. I mean if they are already past waivers you probably can't do much but for new players in the system. Plus this really could happen at any time not just middle of the day... IMO.

+1,000

Twitter is the best of the best, since the roto-aggregate sites are simply using twitter to source their information

And another +1 to using either an FAAB or a daily pick-up policy

It takes a big man to finally admit that teachers don't work.

I meant during the summer but I certainly am able to get on here during the school day. (Along with a lot of non teachers by the way )

This times everything. I won't even play in a fantasy league that doesn't have some sort of waiver wire/free agent budget at this point. But I also only want to play auction drafts instead of snake drafts too.
