computer problem

I don"t know how I managed to do this but my caps keys is actually broken

when it is on i type in lower case and shift is not functioning but when i turn it off it is in all caps

i also cant use periods because it does >>>>> that instead of periods and trying shift or caps doesnt fix it

also whenever i left click on a link it opens up a new page

any ideas?

i also cant restart my computer because when i go to click on it to turn off its like i pressed cancel and nothing happens and whenever i just left click a page without hitting a link it highlights it

Sounds like a stuck shift key, you can restart by holding the power button on the PC down for 10-20 seconds and then start it back. Try another keyboard and/or turn your keyboard upside-down and hit a corner (not the keys) against your desk, it may shake something loose.
