December 27 – At Asmodeus III, the various Council member s agree to begin construction of a large mining colony. Acamar and Epsilon Indi know mines very well, and EE and Capolla both have mining interests. They will subcontract with various large mining companies and those companies will pay the cost, and then the Coalition will get the trade and tariffs and subcontract fees from the companies. Additionally, the Coalition agree to build a couple of DropPorts, a command station, barracks, and so forth, so the government will have an installation.

December 31, 3058 – Sheratan has fallen to the Duchy of Small.

Essex Training Academy

We have17 MW graduates from the Essex Training Academy, and 18 enrollees for next year. Of these 17, 4 choose not to stay with us, and the remaining 13 have 5 vet, 6 regular, 1 green and 1 elite. We also have 7 graduates of vehicle crews, all regular. We hand them vehicles and move them to our garrison. 6 enroll for next year, and 5 infantry squads are now being trained as well. 6 infantry squads are completed, the Aerotech wing is now open. We have 4 members in the initial class and it will take two years to complete. The new class has 5.

We tried to see what new mechs are available on the market already. We managed to purchase an Akuma for the lead spot in the company. It’s an assault mech, made in the Combine, and has an MRM30, Streak SRM 6, Streak SRM 4, ER PPC, medium pulse laser and medium laser. 13/26 heat, no XL engine, moves 3/5, has max armor. A very good mech. We managed to buy two.

We also manage to find a pair of Thunder Hawks. Expensive assault mechs that are quite powerful. They were built and ran in the late SLDF era, but have been done again for a new era. They are a 100 ton mech with three gauss rifles. That’s really all that needs to be known!

Other purchases includes – Hunchback and Thunderbolt. Plus a Gallowglas, Watchman and Daimyo for the next company

And that ends the Opportunity of Chaos chapter. We now have a Coalition of seven planets – Acamar, Fletcher, Epsilon Eridani, Epsilon Indi, Ingress, Terra Firma and Capolla. It will take a few years, but Asmodeus III will be something soon. There are still many problems that plague us. The Duchy of Small, which gained Sheratan but lost Ingress will be quite upset at us and seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Bryant develops into an increasingly bigger problem as times goes by, for the entire area. We’re going to need to take them down. People are moving against the Sirian Holds way out in the corner, so we’ll keep those open for now. The Lyran-leaning planets of Keid and New Home are interesting. There are nearby planets to look at that have no government, and were hurt badly by the war. We still have problems for our nascent realm.

But we also have a date with destiny. A date with a Jaguar.
