Fantasy Football Trade Advice Thread
With everyone's trade deadlines probably coming up sometime this month, I figured I would start this thread to keep it separate from the weekly who to start thread.
And I'll start things off... PPR Scoring, 10 teams, standard roster size with a flex. L. McCoy/M. Wallace (or Maclin) for Ray Rice Thoughts? FYI, I have McCoy and don't think the guy would do the trade, straight up for Rice. |

Is it keeper? I like Shady long term. And Wallace is feast or famine in a PPR.

Non-keeper. Roster looks like this...
Schaub/Stafford Gore/Foster/McCoy/Mathews Megatron/M.Williams(TB)/Maclin/M.Wallace/V.Jackson Z.Miller Giants Hartley However, the other deal I'm working on is... Chris Johnson/Brandon Marshall for McCoy/Mathews/Maclin/Wallace. The guy I'm offering that up to is in 8th (although at 3-6, only 2 games behind the 4th place team). The guy with Rice is in first. Personally, I'm all for this one and I think he will bite. I hate Wallace in PPR (although he had a great night tonight) and I don't think McCoy/Maclin produce nearly as well with Vick. |

Keeper Yahoo Roster, normal points Non-PPR...1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex, TE, K and DEF
...thinking of a blockbuster... Looking at strength of schedule down the stretch. I'm in a precarious position of being tied for the last spot in the playoffs with the trade deadline Friday. Roster is: QB Schaub QB Fitzpatrick QB Young (possible) RB Rice RB C Johnson RB Gore RB Blount RB Sproles WR Calvin Johnson WR Garcon WR Macklin TE Hernandez Calvin Johnson, Ray Rice and Gore for MJD, McFadden and Flacco Next season, I'd be able to keep Chris Johnson, Macklin and McFadden. His roster is: QB Vick QB Flacco QB Stafford RB Foster RB McFadden RB MJD WR Andre Johnson WR Dwayne Bowe WR Steve Smith (CAR) WR Jennings TE Tamme TE Cooley Am I overthinking? Should I just hold tight, I got a rough schedule from here on out. I can only keep 2 max at 1 position. I can keep Chris Johnson but at the expense of Ray Rice. I can keep Calvin Johnson or Frank Gore but not both. I can keep Macklin (drafted after 6 round). It's been a rough season, and I'm staring from 4-5 to being knocked out.

Okay, it's quiet here...
I made a trade: Ray Rice (A), Calvin Johnson (B) and Fitzpatrick (FA) for Philip Rivers (B) and Percy Harvin (B) I can keep either Rivers or Harvin or Frank Gore next season I can keep Chris Johnson I can keep Jeremy Macklin (C) A - drafted rounds 1-3 (can only keep 1 at maximum) B - drafted rounds 4-6 (can only keep 1 at mamimum) C - drafted beyond 6 (can at minimum keep one) I'm thinking of sending a trade for Hakeem Nicks who was drafted in the 7th round this year...next year I could possibly have the top 1 or 2 QB (Rivers), RB (Chris Johnson) and WR (Nicks)...that would soften the blow of not making the playoffs...
