Given that every single Colts receiver besides Reggie Wayne is injury prone this year, I'd be surprised if the Colts don't give Moss a look.

I think Manning/Moss combo would be a trainwreck. Manning likes all of his patters run in a precise way and that is far from the way Moss likes to do things.

To be fair, Brady's the same, if anything even more so than Manning.

And apparently, all four plays are guaranteed touchdowns. People still cream themselves over that damn game, yet nobody wants to sit down and watch arena football with me.

I hate everything.

Randy Moss was in New Jersey on Tuesday and met with members of the Jets, Craig Carton of WFAN reports. "There's no doubt in my mind, just to prevent the Patriots from going down that road again, the Jets will put a claim in for Randy Moss," Carton said.

Our View: Moss would seem to be a terrible fit for the Jets, who already have an abundance of receiving options, but it makes some sense that they would want to prevent the Pats from having another shot at Randy.

I think we can all agree that Moss should go to the Bungles purely for the entertainment opportunity.

Moss to the Titans. Now we can see what a great coach can do with a WR that can stretch the defense and a great big play running back. Two teams with very similiar offenses so this should be interesting.

Jeff Fisher is almost certainly a better coach than Brad Childress, but it's not because of creative offensive playcalling, nor would I call a Titans offense heavily reliant on rollouts and play-action with VY at QB similar to the vanilla max-protect scheme the Vikings have been running most of the season.

How does Moss fit with Kenny Britt? I've only seen the highlights of Britt torching defenses (mainly the Eagles) and haven't actually watched him play much. Does he run good short/intermediate routes, or are the Titans going to be running CJ up the middle and bombing away deep to Britt, Moss (and even Nate Washington?) all game, with VY binky Bo Scaife the only player running a route short of 15 yards downfield?

What's the over/under on Moss actually finishing the year with the Titans?

Rumors are Britt could miss the season, but is definitely out a few weeks.

Since they have a bye this week, what are the odds on him playing in 1 game for them?

(Funnily enough after all the discussion of Moss playing 17 games, the Titans bye assures he'll be at max 16 like everyone else.)

That sucks... Moss acquisition makes a lot more sense then. No way Nate Washington, Damian Williams and Justin Gage can be your WR's if you want to have a chance at the Super Bowl.

Yeah.

Cowherd had Al Michaels on this morning and asked him about Moss and Michaels said Randys boorish behavior would get him fired if he worked in an office. He was pretty candid about it which was refreshing.

Well I don't know about all that. All I know is SF and CHI had one play where even if the defense picked it, it was good for 7-8 yards. We had a standing rule to just never play those teams.

New England Patriots' Myron Pryor fined $7,500 for hit that cut Favre - ESPN Boston

$7,500 for a hit that was perfectly fine and not malicious in any way, yet knocked a QB out of the game?

Why doesn't the league just outlaw touching QB's or defenses altogether?

Sometimes I feel like the only one who still thinks there's SOMETHING of a gap between the occasional questionable fine, and 11-on-zero, no-touch football.

I'm assuming people are just exaggerating. But come on, that Pats hit was NOT a fine-able offense. Of the last what, five fines there was one clear one (Merriwether) and the rest were iffy at best?

I really think these rules changes so you can't hit the QB, is a big conspiracy by the NFL and John Madden to keep Brett Favre playing into his 60s.

Yeah, that bugged me too since I posted the Pats fine in week nine but since people are talking in here still, guess it's still being used.
