Thanks Lions for finishing the choke. Now get your sorry asses OFF OF MY LOCAL CBS AFFILIATE SO I CAN WATCH THE EAGLES GAME BECAUSE THE EFFING NFL AND DIRECTV REFUSE TO SHOW IT ON 713.

Not a bad start, would have been much better if they ended in the endzone after the pick. But if anyone said they would be up 10-0 just 5 minutes into the game I would take it.

Hey, Linehan and Schwartz, you dumbfucks. When the other team has no timeouts left and it's 3rd down inside two minutes, just run the fucking ball and run 40 seconds off the clock.

You're acting like Schwartz could've stopped the Lions from choking.

I believe Trevor Price is a wanted man in Detroit.
Had he not roughed Hansen, Detroit would've won the game.

Patriots losing to Cleveland is comical.

I guess NE thought Cleveland was going to lay down for an easy win.

Crap, Vick looks hurt (or shaken up decently) thanks to the Colts' late hits.

THEY WOULDA WON IF THEY HAD WES WELKAH!!!

I was rooting for the Lions, and it pained me a bit that they lost. While I like Rex Ryan ok, I don't *really* like the Jets all that much. This will just hype them up a bit more.

And speaking of hype...can I tell you that it is a lot nicer watching a Pats game where I don't have to listen to Jim Nantz and Phil Simms suck Tom Brady's dick for three hours? Unfortunately I'll have to listen to them fawn over Manning now...

Also, the Eagles are going to regret having to settle for all these FG.

Seriously, can Samuel quit jumping and down when Collie is out on the ground right next to him. Classless. He can be pissed about the call but there is no need for that.

Can the Eagles not challenge there? Looked like a pretty clear catch and fumble with an obvious Eagle recovery.....

Not sure if the call was challengable, but yes, if a team is out of time outs they can not challenge anything.

Agreed, but the penalty would have negated the turnover.

The hit...I don't know what you do about that. Defender stayed on his feet, didn't launch...just happened to make hth contact (on yeah, a WR who DID catch the ball). Results were horrible, but it seems a lot cleaner than what Harrison does or the Merriweather hit.

What a BS all on that play. I hope the player is alright but that call was only made because of the injury.

My son, the football fanatic, just came down and said he is sick about the collision injuries in the NFL. He has officially made college football "less injuries, more excitement" his favorite sport. I told him that the NFL will likely go to 18 games and he just shakes his head. But I also told him that many loves the gladiator aspect of the sport - just have them beat each other up, they're replaceable.

There was nothing wrong with any of the hits. The problem is that one defender hit the receiver and knocked him into the other defender, then he slammed his head on the ground which compounded things.

I guess they were using NBA strategy and going for a two-for-one opportunity.

Yeah, people love the violence but hate the injuries. It's like how politicians like cutting taxes/increase spending but want to eliminate the budget deficit.

Surprised they didn't score another TD, actually. Strikes me as a game that finishes 41-23, Colts.

At least they didn't give him the 15 yarder on that one; I think I may have lost it at that point.

You know what's scary? Look at the rest of the Chiefs schedule. It's god awful. They don't play a decent team all year outside of San Diego, and calling them decent may be a stretch.

What are the odds of back to back plays being reviewed?

Reid's challenge was dumb.
Caldwell's challenge will be overturned.
