Time to finally get this dynasty going. The 2 deep is a bit different as I'm using Roman Caesar's rosters, but all of the main players are the same. Let's get it going with recruiting...

We got 2 instant commits before the Hawaii game!

Kory Reid is a 4 star player who is the #1 QB in CA and the #4 overall in the nation. He is a 5'11 185 mobile QB with excellent mobility and a strong but inaccurate arm.

J.J Pearson is a 4 star player who is the #4 WR in the nation and top WR in Hawaii. He has tremendous acceleration and excellent hands, but needs a lot of work on his route running.

Now, it is time to put on a show against Hawaii.

Time to try to get this dynasty going again (even though I love NBA 2k11, I miss college hoops.) I'm continuing where I left off, but I'm trying some new sliders that might up the challenge and realism a bit (although might be out of whack with the sim engine a bit.) They are from a very good poster on OS and are more defensively oriented than what I had.

So much for defense. We are down 24-18 with 10 minutes to go in the 1st half as our star SF, Hehn, is in foul trouble.

A rough 1st half against a subpar Arizona team. We are down 45-34 as our shooting has been terrible.

Matthews leads us with 7 points and 3 assists.

Hehn playing much better in the 2nd half. He leads us with 11 points as we take a 53-52 lead with 11 minutes to go..

With 4:15 to go, Prillman fouls out. We are tied at 65. Our FR SG Grant leads us with 16 as he is having a very good game from outside.

Down 70-67, Grant misses an open 3 with 33 seconds left. We have to foul.

We lose the game 74-70.

Muhammad, their SG had 21 points on 6 of 13 shooting including 2 of 4 from the arc. He also had 4 assists to lead them in the win.

Grant led us with 16 points on 6 of 16 shooting.

Kilgore with 14 points on 5 of 14 shooting.

Matthews with 7 points and 5 assists.

Hehn with 11 points, 6 boards, and a block. He shot 4 of 10.

Wolfe with 9 points, 8 boards, and 2 blocks. He shot 3 of 4.

Moss with 7 points, 3 assists, and 1 block. He shot 2 of 3.

We finish the regular season 21-8. We will face Cal (14-17) in the 2nd round of the Pac-10 Tourney.

Boston College squeaks by North Carolina State 75-73.

Stanford crushes Cincinatti 85-58.

Boston College with a last second shot.. and the win 72-71 over Stanford!! They were a SR laden team without any super stars, but they had 8 very good players who were all seniors and played well together.

Georgia State's C Tracey Bullicer won Player of the Year with a 25.6 ppg, 11.4 rpg, and 2.2 bpg. He was also Mid-Major Player of the Year and is rated 92 overall.

Stanford's Deshaun Rand won Coach of the Year.

Bullicer won Big Man of the Year.

Washington's SG Maynard Whithers won Freshman of the Year. The 6'4 214 pound SG averaged 12.1 ppg and 3.4 apg.

My PG Dainmon Matthews with 10 ppg and 5.4 apg was 1st team Freshman All-American.

Oregon State's C Nehemiah Carney won Player of the Year with 19.9 ppg, 8.1 rpg, and 2.0 bpg average.

Whithers won Freshman of the Year in the conference.

Hehn was named Pac-10 1st Team with a 15.7 ppg and 5.8 rpg average.

Matthews was 2nd team.

The good news is that the only player we lost this year was Hehn who decided to go Pro early and forego his final year.

I get offered a bunch of jobs including Baylor, Cal, Texas Tech, and Washington State. I turn them all down.

No transfers in or out of our team...

Recruiting time...

The one player left on the board I want is a 6'7 210 pound SG named Billy Duhon from Charlotte, NC. We only have 2 scholarships and he is the only other HS SR I'm focused on...

Duhon signs with Rutgers instead. Disappointing. Still, we got a nice SG to compliment our bench as I plan on Grant starting next year...

I scout intensively a few weeks, and find a player that I like who is slipped through the cracks of other teams despite being highly ranked...

We sign 4 star F Juan Pablo Pressley from Greensboro, NC. He is 6'7 220 and prefers to play PF but has the athleticism to play either the 3 or 4. He is fast, has great hops, dunking ability, and is a good passer. He is very strong for his size. He averaged 14.4 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 2.9 apg, and 1.8 bpg last year. He is ranked 50th in the nation and is a 4 star player.

That completes our class of 2.

Texas Tech with 3 5 stars has the top class.

FSU, Kansas, North Carolina State, San Diego State, Cincinnati, North Western, UCLA, and Michigan, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M round out the top 10.

Now, for a quick look at the roster:

SR SF Devon Kilgore will start at his natural position, SF. He is 6'9 223 and is rated 91 overall. He can shoot, he is very fast for a SF, and he has a good handle. He is a very good defender to boot.

SR PF Allan Wolfe will start at PF. He is 6'8 270 and is rated 89 overall. He has a strong inside game and should be a good shooter as well s a very good rebounder.

JR C Rylan Prillman is now 6'11 244 and is rated 84 overall. He is a decent shooter for a big man and can rebound very well.

SO SG Edmund Grant will start at SG. He is 6'3 180 and is rated 82 overall. He's our best 3 point shooter and is a capable ball handler.

SO PG Dainmon Matthews will start at PG. He's 6'1 200 and is a good shooter who has excellent speed but just average first step. He is a very good handler and passer. He is rated 82 overall.

SR Connally Moss will be our most versatile man off the bench and will play a bit of everywhere. He has grown into 6'10 260 and hs SG skills. He can pass, run, rebound, and play decent defense. He is rated 83 overall.

SO J.S. Grundy is our first big off the bench. He is 6'11 263 and is rated 79 overall. He has the potential to become a dominant inside score. He is a solid rebounder.

FR PF Juan Pablo Pressley has impressed in our midnight debut. He is now 6'8 230 and is rated 77 overall. He has excellent spped for a big man, greathops, and can dunk. He's also a decent 3 point shooter for a big and he can guard the perimeter credibly.

FR SG Perry Lhota is everything we hoped when we signed him. He's our 2nd best 3 point shooter and could be our best soon. He is money when open. He has decent speed and can pass the ball well. Defense is a question. Rated 76 overall and is 6'4 195.

RS FR SG J.W. Knight is 6'5 212 and is rated 75 overall. Good athleticism.

Walkon RS SO Jeffrey Blankenship is 6'10 239 and is rated 75 overall. Decent rebounder.

Walk-on RS SO SF Ibrahim Sylla from Africa is 6'5 215 and rated 73 overall. Excellent athleticism.

Walk On SO C Uche Adeife from Nigeria is 7'3 270 and rated 71 overall. Can provide intimidation against bigger centers. Solid hands for a big man.
