Honestly, after thinking about I really think 3 is a crowd. I would have third dibbs on all fights and chests which = less xp and loot for me. I think you and ches can meet up and go forth. However I believe I am moving forward today and then on day 6 I'm heading into the next lvl of the dungeon. I should be lvl 4 or 5 by that time.

okay then, forward sounds good. What's the thing we need to type here to announce our grouping together? Packer, want to take the lead then?

Probably. Just wondering if he knew any more about it -- I figure the Musical Tuning Fork is part of something I can use as a bard, which made me think about trying to get it built.

It was a giant butterfly, to elaborate. And my mace didn't seem to do much good against it, for future reference.

I'm debating whether or not to head into darker brick. It's a small entrance, but since I'm not Taurian I can make it through. Gotta be dangerous though.

The wall closed shut behind me, also, so I can't go backwards. But I haven't heard anyone come near my area yet.

If anyone comes across a magical mace I will surely be interested.

Since I don't have "identify" as a spell, I'm not sure what properties it has...I'm versed in a combat spell...

I was thinking of 75gp for the tuning fork. It's worth 100gp which means I can sell it at the bazaar for 50gp. Split the difference and that's 75. Makes sense to me, anyway.

Qwik,

There are some scrolls, like the various Protection from elements that I've ID'ed for a couple people that can be read by anybody, but most are arcane or divine. And I will ID that sword for you for 10 gp if you'd like

Whoa should have checked the results of my morning action before posting.

I searched the room, not expecting to find anything with my two colleagues here. But apparantly I found a corner of this large cave they didn't search, because I found a trap door! Alas I also found a trap door spider!

They were either too far away or busy doing other things so didn't notice my predicament, so I was on my own! A strike from my staff that looked strangely skillful given my pitiful attempts against the rabid cave weasel earlier produce a great thwack echoing across the cavern. That served not to kill the arachnid, but to anger it greatly, as it bit hard into my leg.

We fought back and forth a few times and it became clear my armor spell, cast fresh each morning, was saving my life as its mandibles clacked against it several times before I was able to once again land a mightly thwap with my staff, killing the beast!

I sagged to the floor out of breath and clutching my leg as my comrades rushed up to help, one of them reached into the spider's previous home, and pulled out a bottle with a spinach-colored green liquid in it. They handed it to me, and after a taste test and some research from my articifier's notes I carrry with me, I determined it was a potion of sustenace! I would no longer have to eat those less than tasty food ratioins for the rest of the game!...Of course I had just bought three of those foul rations from the Djinni market....
