Close call! I kind of still think Lebron is better at making a poor to average team good or great where as Jordan has got that killer instinct to make a good team excellent. Lebron can be just a bit to passive at certain times.

I personally dont think Jordan can improve a single team by as many games as Lebron will over a season but I think I want Jordans personality type in the finals.

I voted Jordan mostly because of nostalgia rather than any serious basketball analysis. Jordan was just fantastic to watch as a kid whether it was in a game or a slam dunk contest.

I selected Other. Too close to call at this point.

I didn't realize LeBron was 4th in PPG for a career(fractions of a point ahead of Durant). By the time he retires I'm sure he will fall back a bit.

He also will break Kareem's career scoring mark conservatively at midseason in 2022-2023.

I ain't sayin' Jordan couldn't have gone to eight straight NBA Finals.

Dude's an all-time great, and comfortably a top-two player.

But where Jordan has the cultural cachet and the 6 rings, LeBron just keeps showing up in the Finals regardless of whether his supporting cast is a steaming pile or not.

Maybe Jordan could have done that, too; we'll never know.

What we do know is that there's a tendency to punish LeBron for doing what Jordan never did: grab squad full of league average (or worse) players and say "hop on, boys; we're going to the Finals."

Multiple times.

It seems like the first 3rd of his career was the "Can he over come" narrative. First it was the vaunted Cavs, then the Pistons and their 'Jordan Rules' and ...Jordan didnt just show up and start winning Championships.

I voted other, it is too hard to compare different eras in the NBA. Would LeBron have had the success he has had, or his main claim, had he been playing in the Western Conference?
