Tiger Woods / Bucky Dent

Seriously, after overcoming a five shot deficit in the final round at Bay Hill today, at what point does Tiger Woods get to officially become the Bucky "Fucking" Dent of golf?

Tiger "Fucking" Woods has a great ring to it.

The guy just continues to amaze me.

In FoF, I drafted a player who ended up at like 96 at the end of his rookie year. I nicknamed him "Effin. "

"Why do they call you Effin?"

"Because I'm Ricky Effin Bonar."

I'll give you enough credit for knowing that Bucky was notable because he had hit all of 23 HR at the time. Tiger's won what, 66 PGA events? Clutch all the time.

(he also doesn't crush an entire city while winning...Sean O'Hair probably has like what, 17 fans?)

I've been calling Tiger that for years.

You can take your college-educated critical thinking skills and shove them up your ass, bozo.

Comparing Tiger to Bucky Dent is a serious insult to Tiger.

I think it is awesome getting to watch Tiger. I never would have turned golf on this afternoon if not for him. After UNC starting blowing out Oklahoma, I watched Tiger instead.

+1

The last time I watched golf was.....oh yeah the 2008 US open.

They may want to keep that guy healthy for the whole year.

I agree with DC. Just call it "Tiger". He makes things happen, and makes golf worth my time to watch.

I was watching a bit of this on Saturday when they were talking about what was wrong with Tiger and was he just rusty with Arnold Palmer. Then they showed the leaderboard, and he was tied for 5th, 6 shots back.

It's like, THAT'S rusty? I went off on a tirade with my wife just listening but tuning me out.

But with Tiger, yeah, I guess it kinda is.

I hate Tiger Woods, but the man is simply amazing. But he is probably the greatest golfer I'll see, in his prime. I am a huge Jack Nicklaus fan, and his win at the 1986 Masters is still one of the most amazing feats I've seen.

Plus I was pulling so hard for Rocco to win the 2008 US Open since I've met the man a few times and he grew up playing the same Country Club that I belong to.

I love Tiger for a lot of reasons, but one of them is that all of the old bitter white guys that I would play golf with ten years ago before I had kids would always root against him.

I don't want him to break Jack's record. I never root for him to win.

Hey, don't diss Bucky. He's a nice guy. Has a really sweet wife and family too.
