I think Bob Schieffer said it best last night after the debate:

[paraphrasing]"The Democrats will think Hillary won the debate. The Republicans will think Trump won the debate. In all honesty, neither one did anything to sway someone from the other party to vote for them."

I would have liked an option for people who are libertarians. I don't want to vote for Trump, but Johnson can't win, and Hillary is so corrupt and nasty that I get sick thinking about her as president.

+1 I'm pretty sure I won the debate by choosing to not pay attention to either of these liars.

Can't stand either but it was obvious the moderator favored Hillary.

Wrong forum to bring that up. Wrong web-site too.

I watched and wished I hadn't. It was the exact trainwreck I expected it to be. I can't stomach either one of these people. They ask Hillary about race relations with the police and she somehow turns that into a time to push gun control. I'm actually WITH HER on a lot of the gun control policies she wants, but that wasn't the question for that answer and it has very little to do with the issue of police/minority relations.

Trump was Trump, a reactionary dumb ass saying dumb things and acting like a Jame Bond villain. Trump may be the worst candidate in the history of presidential elections and Hillary can't pull away from him. That pretty much sums up how horrific she is as a candidate.

Depressing. Really, really depressing.

Or Republicans are almost all going to vote for the Republican and Democrats are almost all going to vote for the Democrat and we're a pretty evenly divided nation.

I think the funniest thing I heard about the debate was that the only winner was the voyager probe, which is speeding away from earth at 17km per second.

Have you ever watched a debate before?

Every single politician has taken a question and used it pivot to something they'd rather talk about. This is actually something that is taught.

I don't know, I hate Trump with a passion and strongly believe he is a reflection on human beings being self destructively ruled by emotion and the pit falls of a democratic system. Even with that, it was clear to me that Larry had several pointed comments directed at Trump and pretty much 0 at Hillary, other than maybe re-iterating email after Trump brought it up.

Personally I'm good with a moderator forcing them to answer the questions and not skate around things, but you need to do it to both or not at all.

I was so waiting for someone to bring up the wired conspiracy theory. That one is just so awesome, and all the moreso coming from you.

I thought Trump had just finished doing a line of coke. He kept sniffing for like the first 30 minutes and saying stupid shit.

Those are wireless mics, which connect to a transmitter, usually located on the hip or back.

Debate conspiracies rule. We get them every Presidential cycle. Romney was using a cheat sheet in 2012. Obama had a secret translucent earpiece in one of his debates. Bush had a device on his back that was supposedly some secret transmitter that Karl Rove was feeding him answers through. Wasn't there one where people thought someone was whispering answers to Romney back in 2008 primaries (which I believe was just an open mic in the crowd)?

It wouldn't be a Presidential election without the conspiracy theories.

I like the HRC on drugs one.

Then wustin mentioned Trump and coke.

Now Im thinking Trump was snorting coke and HRC was smoking meth.

Explains a lot.

Debate conspiracies don't hold a candle to NBA conspiracy theories.

I'll give you a hint, there's a mic for the speakers and a mic for recording.
