Welp, God Help Me Redux
As noted a couple weeks ago, I proposed. As is fairly obvious, we got it on that night. As we have now discovered, birth control is only 99% effective.
Yep. A Coffee Warchild is being brewed. Hoo boy. |

Congrats! I never took it seriously when people said to enjoy your freedom and sleep while you still have it. Dude, take it seriously...

Congrats!
Now it's time to look for a little baby penguin hat so you two will match, because, in my mind's eye, you're always wearing that thing. Always.

Get married in 6 months and then act shocked when she has a baby three months later. Then drag a guy in a post office delivery uniform into the waiting room in front of your family and beat the hell out of them.
That should save your a$$. |

Damn, Kodos beat me to the Seinfeld reference. Must have been because I am a little slow and tired from the 3 hours of sleep I got courtesy of my 2 month old!
Congrats dude. It really is the coolest thing ever. |

I don't know if your tastes run to anything stronger than coffee. But be advised that, if so, you have a built in designative driver for the next 9 months.
Basically, taking everyone's advice together--drink and sleep as much as you can over the next 9 months :-) |

Heh! Actually, no one ever really doubted that, mainly because neither of us wanted to have children out of wedlock (or actually wanted to have children just yet, period - we wanted to wait a little longer). Already made the wedding plans interesting. Basically, we're now going to do a civil service in the coming weeks, and have the "big" wedding as planned next year. |

My sister did that with the second kid. It worked out just fine. And since you're doing a civil service, you might even be able to convince her to skip on the whole "big church wedding" and go with more of just a "wedding party"

Many congratulations.
PS - Me and Becca skipped the 'whole big wedding' fiasco on the basis that after the first few weeks beginning to organise it we realised that we both hated the idea/hassle and would prefer to put the money towards getting our first house instead .... never regretted doing so tbh. (although I do have plans to do a big '20th anniversay' retake or something similar .... not that far off now, scary but true) |
