The decision today is much harder to reach than any other before it. TazFTW and Qwikshot run a neck an neck race and finally end the day with an equal number of votes. They each face the assembled group, all of you looking from one to the other. Finally, as one you annouce to your victims "We are sorry Qwikshot."

The always eccentric Jedi throws his head back in laughter. "Damnit, you all finally decided to rid yourselves of me, so be it, I have only been telling you to get it over with for 4 days now. Thanks alot for changing your vote there Aardvark." With his last statement, he springs towards Ardent Enthusiast, igniting a pale yellow lightsaber in mid-air. His blade is met by Ardent's who seems to have been expecting such an assault.

the duel is fast and furious, Ardent seemingly fueled by his anger at being called Aardvark, is parrying all of Qwik's blow's. In the end, Qwik decided to take the noble route of Lathum, and he closes down his pale yellow blade, allowing Ardent to sever him diagonally from shoulder to the opposing hip with one slash of his lightsaber.

There were no evil laughs, no treacherous techniques, no scarlet blades, no currents of evil pulsating through the force. At the end of the battle, all you are left with is 2 pieces of Qwikshot, which added together equal one dead Jedi.

It is now night 4, night actions are due by 9:30 on tuesday.

We don't know what the tie-breaker was ... possible "first one to get a vote" logic? Or one of the four voters on him could have been weighted.

I didn't see anything in that description that indicated that the decision fell solely to Ardent. So that steers me away from thinking Duke.

The last thing I remember is walking to the galley until after the battle was over. I ran into someone, he held up his hand...and then I just remember wanting to vote for Qwikshot.

Just getting caught up. AE's actions and posts are very very odd. I think they make me believe him to be a Jedi and being manipulated by the Sith. That makes Taz look pretty suspicious in my book, but maybe the Sith are just playing us.

Clearly Ardent is saying that he was forced by some means to vote for Qwikshot against his actually intention. Either the sith took control of his mind and made him vote against Qwik, or he is a Sith and just making the whole thing up.

Possibilities:

a) Ardent was mind tricked into voting for Qwikshot by the Sith because Taz is a Sith and they wanted to save him.

b) Ardent was mind tricked into voting for Qwikshot by the Sith because they want it to look like Taz is a Sith and get an easy Jedi lynch.

c) Ardent wasn't mind tricked at all and is a Sith making an excuse for saving Taz who is a Sith

d) Ardent wasn't mind tricked at all and is a Sith making an excuse for saving Taz who he wants to appear to be a Sith so we lynch a Jedi.

Any others? At this oint in time I have no idea what the most likely thing that occured is. But we should be wary, if we it was option B and we lynch Taz finding he is a Jedi, we should be careful not to automatically lynch Ardent in return as he may have been an innocent Jedi coerced into this situation. But that's getting ahead of ourselves, and indeed the night action.

At this point, Ardent is reminding me of R2D2, when the hologram of Princess Leia kept repeating "Help me Obi-wan, you're my only hope". He keeps repeating that he wanted to vote for Qwikshot, so there has to be something in that.
